Seeking What Kind of game would you like to see?

Hello All,

I have been a member of this forum for a while now and I have been toying with the idea of creating an adult game for a while but been busy with bread and butter activities.

I have many ideas and have been looking/playing/reading (let's face it, the majority of these ''games'' are just very straightforward stories with rendered models) a number of them but so far I have seen very few real games, which basically to me means that you are happy with a good renpy story with nice renders like DMD, but cant be certain really.

So I have decided to ask the community.

What would you like?

Something like summer saga ? Another big brother?

Maybe something in VR and multiplay (That something I would love to do if there is interest, like an RPG)?

What kind of plot and mechanics you would like to play?

I am open to suggestions and I promise I will make a demo with the best ones.

I don't want to play a game you come up with through crowd sorced means. I want to play the game you want to make. The game you think is missing. All this "what do the people want?" bs that goes on in these posts is the wrong question. Plain and simple, if you're not invested in what you're doing, it isn't going to go well.

Strong Language and little understanding of what I have said...I wouldn't have expected anything different from another 15yo 'developer' (ren py doesn't count).

A good change to stay silent...too bad you have missed it.

I'm actually not really set on any specific scenario but I'm personally pretty tired of standard render models combined with standard "stories". So if the concept isn't great it has to be really high quality or just something creative that's not really been done before. I like drawn art a lot but I understand that that's only something very few people can do.

Else I'd agree that you should really stand behind what you are doing. Sadly there are way too many games which reach 1,5 releases and get abandoned. At least I feel that I've personally really played far too many of those. :/

This is what I was thinking...people must be tired of rendered content and linear stories...hence why I was suggesting something using a sort of multiplayer/RPG approach. Doing it in VR would be neat but how many have/would use a VR headset?

Well, I personally wouldn't but it may of course be individual. Else I'm not really sure how well that can even be done in a good quality. I mean there are quite a few games which use real gaming engines but they all really, really lack content.
When it comes to linear stories I'd even slightly disagree. I'd say people are tired of those really boring and badly made standard stories but the VN genre itself is still popular. A good and well written story is a huge upside in my opinion but sadly there are really only very few games who manage to get that done.

Excuse you? No, you're far from the first person to come here asking what games we want to play. But if you're not interested in creating the game you're developing and making your decisions based on what others want it won't be good.

I don't care if your motivation behind this is that you think by getting our input you can guarantee you'll make something we want to play, or if you are just not committed to anything in particular and so you're hoping someone else can point you on a path. I'm telling you right now, if you can't come up with a concept that YOU want to see, that YOU want to play, then no one else is gonna want to play your game either.

While I don't agree in full with @DarthSeduction - a lot of people can do quality work on non-passion projects - if you are expecting to get some sort of feel what people want to play... you won't get it like that. People love different stuff. Incest games even if there are probably more than 100 of them are still very popular. There are many genres that are not explored enough - there are very few non RPGX rpgs, very few survival games, close to no action games...

Of the top of my head I can drop you several "snippets" as I love to call them - just concepts in a few lines. But that won't make them good or bad games - execution is what matters. ;)

Short story concepts:

Dating A Single Girl At Last. Every game that even tries to put romance and dating WILL be diluted by the demand for "more girls to fuck". A single Date Ariane style game is relatively simple to make, can be a lot of fun and can bring attention to your skills. You'd need decent renders and very, very good writing to make it popular, but you kind of need that anyway.

Bucket list - the MC will die in 10 days. They have sold everything they have and made a list of things they want to do. Mainly they wanna fuck a bunch of girls they like. Use all necessary means to achieve the goals... or not. After day 10 see how what you did affected the people you messed with. Decent writing (no need to be stellar levels) and good renders with enough options to get the girls will be crucial.

Long concepts - they need good CGI, good writing and good coding. No short-cuts here:

Post-apocalyptic games are severely lacking. Grab the idea of the MC living with his family (kill off the dad) in a bunker/fort/whatever and send him to scavenge, meet new people, kill new people and monsters, gain stats and fuck girls. Basically slap a good incest game on top of a good survival game. Or not an incest game - just a game, where for whatever fuck reason (coma for example) you wake up way after the Apocalypse has happened and you are the man of the shelter. So just as any men - you are sent to risk your life for shit. If you slap a good, overarching story over it - so that there is an end in sight - you have a solid game, that I believe will be quite popular.

Any standard incest game, where you do not play as an 18 year old-looking 14 at best, dumb as fuck virgin. Make the MC a criminal. Make him a black-ops specialist. Whatever, as long as we finally move away from the idiotic stereotype of an MC in the genre. Make him actually be able to do competent stuff and not feel like some lost puppy that fucks people for attention.

Spewing game concepts like that is easy. Making the design documentation for them is what is hard. And than creating them is a whole new level of shit.

Whatever you do, art syle is the most important aspect.
There are alot of shity games people seems to like because of the art, while they complain about the gameplay itself.

Hiering a good artist with a visually pleasing artstyle seems to be the best first investment. Some of the new games posted people go GAGA over only because of the art.

RPGM could work as a start, some people dislike these games, but its an easier system to start on.
The posivitve of useing RPGM is you can concentrate on story and events. And learning by doing is alot better option than trying to create something unique from scratch. lack of content etc.

Inspiration is best found by playing similar games or other games, and se how they handeld the story, transition between events, not making the game too grindy,

Keep notes and write alot when you have inspiration and plan ahead.

Anyway just my 2 C

a date a live game using the domina engine or tower of trample but you can marry spirits

IMO the most important thing is that the game actually have drawn art instead of those terrible uncanny valley 3D renders.

I would really like a game where it´s a woman corrupting other women. I know there are similar games, but the women doing the corrupting always has a slutty nature instead of beaing cunning/calculating.

But I would agree that you shouldn´t write games focusing on kinks that you yourself don´t like, because it won´t turn out that well.

Yamato high:

Yamato high is here the rich and powerful send there daughters to be become proper ladies.
It is a girl only school with only girl staff.
Man are not allowed on school ground.

You hypnotized the headmisstress into marrying you.
And through her get access to the school.
While you can not access the school grounds.
You can use your wife to get access to the school from your home pc.
Eventual using the school intercom to slowly brainwash the entire school(Staff, teachers, students, etc) under your control.

The story is pretty basic(With the only real change being that you married the headmisstress instead of being the headmaster)
But the idea is that you have 4 resource's to gather to spend on making change's to the school:

Education: This is used to build new classrooms, gyms, etc.
Pretty much everything you can legal get and is generate by studends learning.

Connections:
You connections to the criminal underworld.
These give you access to stuff like whorehouses(A wearhouse turned into a whorehouse) Bdsm gear for rooms, Drug's, Keeping cops away from your whore houses, etc.
Stuff you really dont want to get caught with.
You raise connections by whoring your studants out.

Influence: As your wife studends graduate your brainwashed minnions become part of the social elite.
And you use that influence to make stuff legal.
Like for example: Husbands are allowed to visit there wife on collage ground(giving you access)
To something as outlandish as banning underwear or making sex part of basic high school education.
Influence is hardest to gather for this reason.
It lets you do very big change's.

Heat: How close the police are finding out what your doing.
Never let this get to a 100/max or game over.

The gameplay is a combination of building and expanding the school.
Using your wife(And later do it yourself) to get the staff and students under control.

Use subliminal messages to turn the schoolgirls into whatever you want and use the fact they will marry other elite's to get power over the elite's of the nation.

I change the origin story of this one a few times already.
The idea is that the game focus heavly on managing a school while actively attempting to corrupt it without being to obvious about it.
You can not just make the girls sex straved sluts.
There parents would shut down the school if you did.
Instead you use subliminal messages tho have them be sleepwalking whore's.
Having your control be subtle.
More like making sleeper agents then anything else.
I also wanted the wife and forbidden for men to enter as refreshing change of headmaster exploit studends.
Having to act through others for most of the game because you can not enter the school grounds create for an interesting challange.
