Age is mostly irrelevant because unless the dev actively tries, the creator actually has to try and put in the effort to show visible signs of aging. Its very hard to add detail without going into uncanny, look at all the Pixar moms, flawless, you think an individual porn dev can do better?

Easiest for the dev is dead dad, the best if you can put in the time is happily married but in a sexless relationship.

Its not a proper mom character unless she's as thick as home made butter.

The best kind of AVN mother is the realistic mother, and this is where most of the authors fail. Some part of the player's brain has to believe that she is actually the MC's mother, and then everything else almost doesn't matter.

Unfortunately, many developers spend almost no effort into making the mother character believable, instead hoping the players will see her as a mother because the story told them she is. So you see big titted, airheaded bimbos waltzing around in yoga-sluts outfits, getting all hot and bothered at the slightest glimpse of their "sons" bulges, essentially killing all immersion.

Make her nice looking and believable, everything else is insignificant details.

I like a type of mom that fits the story. soccer moms are a great choice, but also career moms and the surprisingly rare motherly kind mom who's just obsessed with cooking for you. oh and the overworked diner waitress mom who's giving all she has just to keep the family afloat.

it doesn't matter that much what the type is, as long as she PLAYS THE PART OF A MOTHER. seems obvious, but by far the most common way of fucking it up is making the mom behave and talk in ways no mother would.

even the biggest whore mom wouldn't behave like a slut AT HOME but instead do her best to give her kids a normal life. like she would 100% hide being a prostitute, tell you to watch your language, clean your room, do your homework, all that shit - right before going back to sucking dicks at a truck stop to pay for your school. the whore mom would wear the exact same clothes at home as a soccer mom, dirty hair on a ponytail, none of those sexy clothes and tits slipping out.

the right way to write a whore mom would be to make her as conservative and normal as you can. and even after MC found out she's selling ass every day, she should absolutely refuse any kind of sexual favors from her son. maybe even more than a normal mom just to overcompensate for being a whore. make the son try the old "you're giving it to everyone else, why not me too?" guilt trip, and her bursting in tears about how she's used to men using her but she never thought her own son would disappoint her by acting like them. just make it extra hard on the player to wear down her defenses both mentally and physically.

like I'm not intrested is seeing a whore mom game, but just to point out how even it that scenario the most important thing is to make her act like a real mom, not a slut.

here's some common ways devs fail at this:
-telling you "even at her age mom still looks like a 20yo college girl", which is the opposite of what we want.
-wearing slut clothing
-constantly bending over, pushing tits in your face, smiling like they wanna fuck you, making lewd 'jokes'.
-drooling over your dick from day 1. if anything she should make extra effort to hide any sexual interest in you.

the whole thing about moms is that they're the last person that would ever do anything sexual in front of her son, let alone with him. that's what gives it the extra impact when you finally wear her out and stick it in her ass. it should've never happened, yet here it is. make it a miracle.

Haven't even gone into the cooking side and they say "I'm not hungry mom" and get a fucking hot pocket or bowl of cereal right in front of you 10m after they were supposed to eat. Or the earbuds and loud music while they phase everything around them out so getting their attention is like summoning the dead from their slumber, and then as you ask them something that benefits them they are annoyed you bothered them.

I feel like this should also have the "what kind of kids should the perfect mom have" so we can understand how these moms are supposed to not lose their shit with their kids some days.
