What tool to use

I am trying to edit a .sav file but the online editor will not open it and keeps stating that it is loading. Does anyone know of a editor that can edit the .sav file ?

HHS+ and it confused me as it is listed as "other"instead of like ren'py or RPG types so it threw me for a loop.

From what I can remember (I could be wrong), the save files for that game are clear text. But even so, there's a built-in debug mode, where you can cheat away to your heart's content.

You are right @Eoin i am just having some issues with changes made in debug mode showing up.
