Whats the best AI for NSFW story generation?

Hey ya, chat gdp got me into this stuff and can't quit.

I first noticed that ChatGDP gave me warnings when i even mentioned some medical questions so I looked around for alternatives because I wanted to make some of hte messed up sci fi stories i often find in hentai.

I got into Novelai and it was cool at first, even got the 3rd tier. Then I started doing some stuff that scared me to write about, that is mostly loli for shock value. One was like a cocoon of a NEET and he got transformed into a young loli and she almost got breeded but escaped with a help of a pedo in the nest, then had to start over with a foster family given a 2nd chance as a girl hehe.
The problem with novel is it's pretty bad after a sentence or 2 in staying on track, there is often about 2 or 3 things I have to rephrase to be correct too.

Then I tried this one called Koboldai. It was said to be good for NSFW but after trying it, it's worse. the scenes might be a bit more described but when it comes to sci fi and keeping something as simple as someone bound by aliens bound and tortured, it's terrible.

The last one i tried was Sudowrite. It honestly blows the others away, even Chat GDP. It's like 80% of what i like, and can even write a big sentence based on my prompts which for ai is great imo. The problem with that one is the word count. I went through my 90k words in about 2 days. I was thinking of the higher tier one but it wouldn't be enough either. buying extra words turns into a mobile game pretty fast.

Idk im just tryinig to f ind somethiing a bit better than novelAI as while it has a good interface and the image thing is nice, it's just outdated at story telling when compared to other ai.
Has anyone been able to find another alternative? I was thinking of looking into shortly but i fear development on that might be halted or it could be censored. Right now im thinking of using chat GDP to write some of the scenes and set up in the sci fi and then switching to novel ai to at least attempt the bad stuff

The app uses the OpenAI GPT-3 model to generate content but without the strict censorship of ChatGPT. You'll need to generate an OpenAI API key from the official website to play though (you get around 900k free tokens).

DO NOT SPEND MONEY ON AI SERVICES.

Especially if you have a GPU with at least 6-8 GB of RAM. You will be able to run it yourself for nothing.

KoboldAI is much the same as NovelAI, but open source and free. You may want to run it locally, but there are colabs for it. Fx this:

You should use shinen, horni or erebus as model for lewd stuff.

I use pygmalion-6b which is almost as good as NovelAI but requires at least 12 GB VRAM.

This was done in a couple of minutes with Pygmalion (I think, or it may be horni):

Faye wasn't really his mom, she was married to Tim's father who had recently passed away. Louise also wasn't his sister, she was actually his uncle's stepdaughter so they weren't really related. Tim's dad had taken her in when she was a kid, because her parents died in a car accident.

"So, whatcha gonna do today?", Faye asked. "I dunno", Tim replied. "Maybe I am gonna go to the beach or the park, or maybe to the cinema later".

Of that text, I wrote the first sentence and the last. And of course it continued on from there.


You can setup the details of your story in system and define characters, places etc in world info, and it will (largely) honor those. You can also use W++ if you use the United KoboldAI fork (link at bottom).

Do NOT pay money for NovelAI. They can do nothing you cannot do for free (ok, the models is a bit better but also proprietary). Their image model was made available after they were hacked, and as that is stable diffusion model, it is readily usable.

But be aware that it's not for newbies to set up anything related to AI. It requires at least basic Python knowledge.
I could maybe compile the KoboldAI, if it supports it, and release it here on f95zone.

As a bonus, KoboldAI will, together with TavernAI, turn into a lewd chat robot where you can import characters that will behave as you specify them. I had a chat a couple of days ago where a lewd catgirl gave me a blowjob and it was damn near having her on the other end.

This is a capture of the SillyTavern interface where you can see how the personality can be defined in W++. It is also possibly to simply describe the character (the 2048 token limit is in effect here).

I recently started using NovelAI. What are the custom finetunes that you can use?

They're called softprompts. KoboldAI also supports them, but has its own model for it, so they are not compatible (and they need to be tuned for a specific model).
Largely, they don't really alter the story that much.

I've set up KoboldAI before and I found NovelAI is much better and faster. (I have a 3060 ti, of course it might be different if you have a beast GPU)

But to bo honest I don't use either any more. I found it's more efficient to write my own story and fix errors with ChatGPT. Unfortunately it sometimes refuses to edit it when it found the text too lewd.

What ui you've used with pygmalion? I've download it with oobabbooga but I have no idea how to make a story based on some characters and plot that I created.

I particularly like this one for generating CYOA style story (obviously change or delete the 4-5 option to somethin gyou like)

With the right jailbreaks you can get the character to be as lewed and extreme as you want I use open AI and although you have to pay its pay as you go and you can set hard limits on how much you want to spend. You'f be hard pressed to spend over a £1 one evenings play.

I've been using Silly Tavern for a month and its seriously addictive, to start with it was great but after a while you just notice how repetitive it gets. The further you get into a story the more lifeless a character becomes and the more the AI seems to want to just finish the story and get onto the next scene.

The other big problem all AI chat engines have is remembering history. They generally remember ~2-4k letters but that includes all the prompts (main/NSFW/Jailbreak/Character descriptions). The prompts can easily run into a +1k letters. I like to set up one of my characters as a prude and go for slow corruption but this doesn't really work as you can get them walking down the street nude in one scene and then a few paragraphs later they have completely forgotten this. So if you like meticulously building a world and giving really detailed character descriptions, your characters will be like goldfish and will only remember the last thing they did

Claude writes smut much better by default, doesn't need any guidance and is very pro nsfw-like in general. Has 9k tokens.
But gpt-4 is significantly smarter and follows instructions much better. Has 8k tokens.
Gpt turbo is just a dumber version of gpt4 but with only 4k (halved) context size.
Bing cuts smut at around 80-100 tokens and it's very hard to make it continue this cut reply instead of making another one, feels like gpt-4 with claude flavor (more free, unbound compared to gpt4)
Palm is dumb and completely neutered, bard is even dumber.
CharacterAi has a very agressive filter now, perhaps some fetishes are still unfiltered but no sex. +- turbo with claude flavor.
All the others are either worse than turbo or arguably worse and cannot be run on consumer hardware so don't bother unless Novelai will happen to train a decent 30b model (they only have 3b now).

Sudowrite has been impressing me, but I haven't paid for it yet. I got a 20k word story out of it with very few prompts on a free account. I took that story to another free account but could only add 2k more words. Not sure why. It wouldn't let me just start out writing something with incest, but after sneaking in a word or two several paragraphs down, it was just free reign. Actually surprised me where it went.
