I found it pretty hard to make heads and tails of adult games, since the most popular games are just visual novels with basically zero interaction. I mean if you like just viewing still images and clicking through video clips ... that's not really impressive in my book. It is really annoying if you can't touch or manipulate anything, there is zero immersion. And even if you can interact, then it basically boils down to switching between different scenes or a series of pre-set and fixed animations.
Considering nowadays possibilities of like photo-realistic skin and hair simulation, boob physics and in the future maybe even AI sound generators and so forth, those kind of simple games *should* be pretty unpopular.
What really sparked my attention were some clips of like Cyberpunk with shiny/oily skin and such, that almost looked better than real porn for a brief moment.
I mean, there certainly is potential to make CGI porn look more arousing than real porn ... however it always all hinges on a few little details. For example the legs often look anatomically weird and the armature just doesn't work, the body fat doesn't wiggle properly or at all and if there is any sound it is usually totally misfit or very basic.
But weirdly it is not like this stuff has not been done or cannot be found. On the one hand you have lots of people praising games like Midnight Paradise as "best most realistic 3D game ever" (it is just a simple slideshow of images and clips), but then you dig a bit deeper and find games like The Villain Siumator or VR Hot, which are actually 3D and actually have a lot going on that goes in the right direction.
Personally, if I was asking for an ideal game, it would be a lot about just basic touch and very very heavy on 3D graphics. With the skin being realistic and malleable and also very detailed sounds from the touch and the voice of the model. I think what really makes a difference is like realistic body fat and muscle movement, realistic skeleton, realistic models, shiny/oily and such things and then also that you can touch and drag the character around and it responds to how you touch it sexually. There is lots of nice stuff you can add on top of it, like slime and excessive bodily fluids, sloppy sticky ASMR sounds, futa and also seductive momevents like lip biting or walking, winking, poledance, whatever. There is great potential also to alter 3D models to have more arousing features, but unfortunately in the end the way this is done 99% of the time it looks just very unrealistic and unattractive, that's a bummer.
I mean, I hope you get the idea. I don't know if the Villain Simulator is really the best thing out there that goes into that direction. I hope not, hope there is more realistic stuff. Just weird that people herald all those super-simple games and the actually advanced and interesting stuff is not even talked about.
