I noticed a lot of games apparently have infected files on here and I'm curious if you guys think it's just a windows defender thing doing false positives or if maybe the various file sharing services have suffered a malware breach recently.
What's up with the frequent viruses lately?

I've not had any virus notifications from Windows Defender recently. Maybe it's the download sites you're using. I only use Mega, Anonfile, and Pixeldrain.

It's a Windows Defender problem. The original issue was back in January iirc, but each fix Microsoft has pushed has made it worse. People are even getting trojan warnings when they download .pngs. One of the things being caught as trojans is .7z downloads. I assure you though that every file we upload on this site has been scanned before upload, and is safe.
