What's your dream expectations from a sandbox adult games?

Believable corruption simulation with lots of modularity and good image generation. If there's some meaningful gameplay loop too, even better. There are games that attempt something like this (CoC, TiTS, LT, DoL), but the breadth of scenarios means lack of focus and lack of quality and/or depth to any particular part of the experience. Not to mention the trans furry dragon harpy shit crawling out of every crevice in most of them.

It's funny cause in Trials in Tainted Space one possible partner is literally a futa dragon. :LOL: :HideThePain:

What's your dream expectations from a sandbox adult games?
Ultra detailed character creation?
Modular scenario?
Physic simulation stuffs?
For me I would love a ultra detailed character creation get a personal waifu in the game. If I could create my own scenario that would be awesome but personally i would like a pornstar sandbox. Get a career going and make videos lol or if you don't go down the pornstar route maybe do only fans or be a prostitute. Would be fun to to maybe a normal life in the day then do your naughty stuff at night. Those are always the random ideas that float in my mind when this idea comes to mind.

For me , would be a brothel creation game , were you start small and goes improving from there , it would be based in corruption and mind control, hipnosis and so, no extremes but that would be the main focus, the game would develop into a crossover were basically the end game would be what SABU had in mind years ago, that way the gameplay would develop in capturing / corrupting character from other universes and some from the original were the MC start.

The fundamental problem is most games have Static Written Content.
Whether it's linear, branching choices or sandbox, you are just shifting and partitioning that Written Content around.
And the reason why Sandbox games get such a bad reputation is Sandbox games require more Content while the amount that can be produced by an Author remains limited, which means there is a shortage in routes and questlines that aren't as developed and they implement Grinding Mechanics to stem the bleeding.
The most successful Sandbox games are old and have been in development for years so that they reached the appropriate amount of Content required and players have already invested themselves into that game and characters, the successful ones at least.
Sandbox games in the initial releases are pretty much not worth playing, that means a developer would need to invest a lot more before they get any return.

What I want to see more is Dynamic Content which comes from actual Gameplay, whether it's Business Management, Strategy, Combat, Training Sims and Progression, you can make the Content based on Gameplay Loops that are much more Dynamic and possibly Replayable.

I think the biggest potential is in World Simulation, we already have certain Genres that already work like Brothel Sims and Slavemaker Sims but there biggest flaw is there is no wider world that is simulated, you are in your own isolated bubble and once you reach Endgame and run out of Progression there isn't much point to do anything.
It would be great if you had Factions and NPCs with their own Agency that you can interact with and maybe have an Endgame Goal you are pursuing.
Like if you keep selling slaves that are trained in combat maybe that faction uses it for a rebellion.
What I like about Masters of Raana is they have this factions and a bit of world simulation in the form of daily events. Simple stuff but some of your actions do have an impact.

Probably the best example of what can be done with that kind of World Sim is in the game Shadows of Forbidden Gods and Starsector. The Systems and Mechanics aren't really that complicated to implement.
Kenshi is also intresting to look at but they don't have that much World Simulation, though there are some mods that do that.

Also it's important to understand in most Sandbox games that are not based on unlocking more Static Written Content is going to be based on unlocking Progression as a Goal so it's important how you design and pace things.
Ideally it would be great if you could make it Replayable instead as that can Recycle some of that Progression over multiple playthrough and not be that backloaded on the Endgame.
Portals of Phereon is pretty short in terms of game length but it is fairly replayable. 4X Games also have that type playthrough format.

Dream expectations?

  • Games with small setting open worlds. I'm not talking huge expanses, but free roam in a school/spaceship/castle/whatever with plenty of content to fill the nooks and cranies.
  • Interactive gameplay loops that center on building erotic tension instead of wasting time. The rules/punishment systems from games like Headmaster or Princess Tower. The corruption system from Karryn's Prison. The stalking system from Peeping Dorm Manager.
  • Stats based slow burn training that is actually free form and interactive. Have an actual points system with an interactive way to build up the traits/features you want. Give characters behavior, dialogue, and scenes that fit with a large variety of stat distributions.
  • A world that is very reactive to what you are doing/have done. I want to be able to see how the corruption amd training is coming along. I want the shy girl from the start of the game to start dressing differently and changing her daily routines as I turn her into a slut.

The very basic expectation would be that they actually make a sandbox instead of calling a linear story that needs a lot of clicking a "sandbox."
