When is downloading from mega.nz unlimited?

Sorry if this not the best place to post my question but I could not find any better. Nowadays I am downloading some huge collections from mega dot nz. Due to the download limit it takes a ton of time to do it. I am downloading some GBs of data then I have to wait several hours to continue.

But it happened me twice already that the download limit did not kick in, I was able to download 100+ GB from folders without limitation.

My question is that do we know, is there a logic behind when download is not limited? Specific day of a week or is it somehow trackable? Or I was just lucky/it was a bug?

Thanks!

I'm not grumpy, I'm just coded that way.

If I remember correctly, for free account, Mega download quota is 5GB spread over a 6 hours period. Therefore, if for some reason your internet connection speed is victim of a sudden slowdown, it's not impossible to witness the unlimited download you talk about.
Lets say that there's no files over 100 MB and at that time your connection don't permit you to download more than 4.9 GB in 6 hours, you'll always have 100 MB free in your quota, and from your side if will feel like if the download isn't limited.

There's also an exception for small files (below 50 KB or something like that), that will always be downloadable, and are possibly not counted in the quota.
