Seven main girls from the AVN When We Were Whole

About the Game:
Synopsis:

The main character, Elias (renameable), lives in a small English city with a significant Eastern European diaspora. He is half-English and half-Georgian. His childhood friend, Julianne, grew up in a brothel, as her mother, Miranda, was a prostitute. Julianne has an older sister, Magnolia, who is five years her senior. Elias' other childhood friends include Dan, a seemingly serious boy with a mischievous streak, and Alisa, a shy and quiet girl two years younger than him.

Elias' father is a stern, no-nonsense Georgian businessman who owns a chain of markets in the city. When Elias turns 15, he is sent to the United States to attend a private school and then an Ivy League college. However, after some time, he drops out and attempts to make a living on his own. During this time, he stays in touch with his sister, who later informs him that Julianne has also left the city.

Elias' attempt at independent living ends in failure, leading to a heated argument with his father. Eventually, he is compelled to return home at 20 and accept a trainee role at one of his father’s stores. Upon his return, he meets Julianne at the airport. She explains that she has come back because her mother has passed away.

Julianne’s return sparks tension with Magnolia, who harbours deep resentment toward her younger sister. Magnolia had to take on their mother’s work as a prostitute to cover expenses while Julianne was away, a burden that has left her bitter. Overwhelmed with guilt, Julianne struggles to figure out her next steps.

Elias' relationship with his father deteriorates further, and he decides to attempt living independently once more. At this juncture, Dan presents him with an unusual opportunity: to enrol at the university where Dan’s mother serves as the dean, with all expenses covered. Elias accepts and, in doing so, reunites with Alisa, who has seemingly undergone significant changes since their childhood.

Now, Elias must navigate university life, rekindle his friendship with Alisa, and make sense of Julianne’s troubling situation. She is on the verge of working at the brothel, though not by selling her body. At least, not yet.

See you made it here. Having been keeping up on patreon and reddit. One of my most excited visual novels coming. Good to see you here.

Seen femdom, which I am excited for but confused on no footjob. Why? Feels like they could go hand and hand a bit and could be kind of hot. Also hope for some ass licking(not scat).

Also, any chance for lesbian actions during group sex, don't see that either. Said no interaction with others, but maybe the throuple or other threesomes the girls may play a bit together during. Hopefully.

Also looking at faqs, no mention of a throuple, but I know you mentioned before on reddit there is one, so might want to put that in there somewhere, maybe under harem, just a suggestion.

But other than that, like I said, glad you are here.

Much appreciated!

Re: footjob. Well, the simple reason is that I don't like it myself, and I'd struggle bringing it to life in my game.

Time to put some of the character intros here.

Julianne Ashworth
julianne ashworth.png
Full name: Julianne Veronica Ashworth
Age: 20
Height: 172 cm
Weight: You will die before she tells you
Nationality: English
Origin: St Elvan, England

Julianne’s childhood wasn’t what most would call conventional, but it was happy. She, along with her sister Magnolia, grew up in Wendy’s brothel on the outskirts of St Elvan, where her mother Miranda worked. Back then, the business was thriving, and the place wasn’t just a workplace – it was a community. The girls looked out for each other, and Julianne, raised in the middle of it all, knew nothing but warmth, safety, and the deep, unwavering love of her mother.

Miranda saved every spare penny for her daughter’s future. Julianne had decent clothes, good education, took violin lessons, and dreamed of something bigger. She was part of a close-knit childhood group with Elias, Dan, and Alisa. For a while, life felt stable – like things might actually work out.

But not everyone approved. Elias’s father, Kote, made no secret of his disapproval. To him, Julianne was the daughter of a whore, unworthy of being around his son. He saw her as a threat to Elias’s image, his future, his “respectability.” And while Elias never echoed that cruelty, the judgment always loomed in the background.

But then Elias left for the U.S. without saying goodbye, and everything began to shift. Julianne never quite recovered from that absence, though she never admitted it out loud. When she turned eighteen, she tried something with Dan – a desperate grasp at familiarity – but it didn’t go anywhere. And not long after, Miranda sent her off to study violin in Salzburg. It was the dream they'd both worked toward.

One day, the school informed her that tuition hadn’t been paid for the next quarter. The very next day, her sister Magnolia called: their mother was dead. Julianne flew back to St Elvan the next morning – and by pure chance, ran into Elias at the airport. They’re both flabbergasted and undecided about what this means for their future. Back home, she finds the changed brothel, a dead mother, and sister, bitter and angry at her. Julianne is devastated, caught between guilt and helplessness. She’s home again, but it doesn’t feel like home.

Julianne feels a blend of pride, sorrow, and strive for raw survival. She carries the glamour of her mother’s dreams and the grit of her own reality. She wants to believe she still has choices. She’s just no longer sure what they are.

Alisa Melnyk
alisa melnyk.png
Full name: Alisa Melnyk
Age: 19
Height: 165 cm
Weight: 46 kg
Nationality: Ukrainian, English
Origin: St Elvan, England

Alisa was born in St Elvan to a family that never quite found its footing. The daughter of Ukrainian immigrants, she was raised solely by her mother, Darya, after her father left when she was just three. Her mother worked long hours as a janitor, a store clerk, a babysitter, keeping the lights on by sheer will and a quiet kind of strength.

Growing up, Alisa barely spoke. She was the smallest, quietest presence in the childhood group that included Elias, Julianne, and Dan. She didn’t lead or stir trouble; she simply followed – hovering at the edge of things, always watching and participating, but rarely interrupting. That friend group was her refuge, the only place where the noise of poverty and loneliness faded for a while. And among them, Elias was her anchor. His presence calmed her, his attention meant more than he likely ever realized.

So when Elias left for America without saying goodbye, it broke something in her. Julianne tried to be there. Dan, in his own closed-off way, too. But Alisa had placed her emotional weight on one person, and when he disappeared, she was left to hold it alone.

The years that followed weren’t easy. Her mother’s job barely paid enough, and their future was only made possible by the generosity of that same childhood circle. Elias’s father offered Darya a steady job at one of his stores. Dan’s mother, Gracie – now the university’s vice-chancellor – helped even more, offering financial aid and enrolling Alisa into St Elvan University on the condition that she’d repay it in time, once she found her footing. It wasn’t charity. It was a belief – an investment in someone who needed a chance.

But when Elias returns, he’s met with someone unrecognizable.

Gone is the shy, soft-spoken girl he once knew. In her place stands a version of Alisa no one expected back then – bold, loud, witty, unfiltered. She speaks her mind. She takes no one’s shit, and she doesn’t hesitate to let Elias know, while embracing him when they first met, exactly how she feels about him disappearing.

And yet, behind the brightness, there’s something harder to place. Her transformation is dramatic. There are rumors: whispers about how she parties, who she’s been with, what she’s hiding. But no one knows for sure. And Alisa isn’t offering answers. She’s not bitter. In fact, she seems genuinely happy to see Elias again, but it also feels like she’s waiting to prove something. Whether it’s revenge, forgiveness, or something in between, only time will tell.

Alisa is no longer content to sit in the corner of someone else’s story. She’s writing her own now – sharper, messier, louder. But the question remains: is this who she really is, or who she had to become? And what exactly is Elias’ role in all of this?

Mei Sawaguchi
mei sawaguchi.png
Full name: Mei Sawaguchi
Age: 21
Height: 183 cm
Weight: 69 kg
Nationality: Chinese, Japanese
Origin: Tokyo, Japan

Mei is a free spirit – or at least, she tries to be. Born into wealth and status, she spent most of her life rebelling against the expectations that came with it. Her father is Peter Sū, a Chinese billionaire and owner of St Elvan City FC, the city’s Premier League club. Her mother was Hana Sawaguchi, a world-renowned violinist. Mei adored her mother and has never forgiven her father for being absent when Hana was wasting away from her illness. He was always away, always busy, always too late.

After her mother’s death, Mei threw herself into rebellion – not out of passion, but out of spite. She began working out obsessively, chasing everything her father might have disapproved of: earning a black belt in taekwondo, tattooing herself head to toe, dressing provocatively, and modelling topless. She took up “dangerous” hobbies like horse riding, paragliding, and martial arts. But her father never pushed back – instead, he funded every interest with clumsy support, hoping it would make up for the past. That only made her angrier.

Out of defiance, she abandoned her father’s name and took her mother’s surname, Sawaguchi. But even with her efforts to distance herself, she’s still in the spotlight thanks to who her father is. Some fans of the football club resent having a foreign owner, and they’ve chosen Mei as a convenient target, mocking her tattoos, her modelling, her lifestyle. She’s called names online and in public, slut-shamed, belittled, and reduced to tabloid bait. That constant attention has made her guarded and lonely. She keeps people at a distance, not wanting to drag anyone else into the mess that follows her. Her only real friend is Florence.

Mei knows the main character through Julianne and later through the university they’re both enrolled in. She and Julianne go way back – they both attended the same violin lessons, and back then, Mei resented her deeply, partly because Julianne was more talented but mostly because Julianne still had a mother.

These days, Mei is stuck in a strange limbo. She has done everything she can to hurt a father who won't fight back, and she’s painfully aware that the only reason she could even afford this rebellion was because of the privilege he gave her. That contradiction leaves her adrift, caught between inherited wealth and emotional abandonment, anger and guilt, freedom and emptiness.

Salome Mchedlishvili
salome mchedlishvili.png
Full name: Salome Mchedlishvili
Age: 24
Height: 178 cm
Weight: Don't be rude!
Nationality: Georgian
Origin: Tbilisi, Georgia

Salome is also Georgian, like Elias, the main character, and their paths were intertwined long before either of them had any say in it. She’s the daughter of Elizbar Mchedlishvili, a wealthy Georgian businessman who made his fortune in retail, and Gvantsa Nakani, a former model. Elias’s father and Elizbar have been close business partners for decades, and it’s long been their wish to unite the families through an arranged marriage between Salome and Elias. That wish hasn’t gone away.

Salome is 24, three years older than Elias, and already firmly established in the professional world. She works at his father’s firm as an assistant, but more importantly, she’s the one tasked with mentoring Elias when he returns from the United States – a responsibility she approaches with discipline and skepticism. From her perspective, he’s immature, directionless, and coasting on privilege he hasn’t earned. She has no patience for his past failures and even less for his lack of drive.

But behind that cold professionalism is a more complicated truth. Salome’s choice to become a career woman was deeply personal, rooted in how she watched her mother slowly fade into the background of a high-society marriage. Though Gvantsa was never mistreated and remains a wise and compassionate figure in Salome’s life, the way society diminished her, treating her as decorative eye candy clinging to her husband’s arm, left a lasting impression. Salome was determined to never be reduced to someone’s ornament.

Yet the path she’s chosen has its own cost. Her carefully curated image – sharp, capable, unshakable – is a mask she wears every day. Beneath it is a deeply lonely young woman who has never felt free to admit how badly she wants more than duty and control. That emotional longing quietly haunts her.

Salome is also Elias’ sister Nino’s best friend. The two go way back, and though they argue constantly, they trust each other completely. Nino is one of the few people Salome allows to see past her polished exterior. When Elias returns, Salome finds herself caught between everything she was raised to uphold and the part of her that envies his refusal to play by the rules. Outwardly, she criticizes him – calls him out on his irresponsibility and lack of ambition. But inwardly, she finds herself quietly rooting for him, supporting his quiet rebellion against the rigid expectations of both their families.

Salome doesn’t know what she wants yet. But for the first time in years, she finds herself wondering what it would mean to choose her own future.

Olivia Walker-Peters
olivia walker-peters.png
Full name: Olivia Ayobami Walker-Peters
Age: 22
Height: 177 cm
Weight: 64 kg
Nationality: English, Nigerian
Origin: Truro, England

Olivia used to live for speed. A former racing prodigy, she quickly rose through the ranks, dominating karting championships and making an immediate impact in British F4. She was in contention for the title until the final race at Brands Hatch, when a collision on the main straight ended everything. Another driver swerved into her path, spinning her out and leaving her to be T-boned by cars behind. The crash left her with severe injuries and nearly a year in rehab.

Physically, she made it back. But mentally, she’s never recovered. That crash plays over and over in her mind. The swerve looked deliberate, and Olivia long suspected it was premeditated to help her rival secure the championship. She doesn’t know how deep that rabbit hole goes, but the doubt has never left her.

She’s 22 now. Born in Truro, Olivia is of mixed Nigerian and English heritage. Her mother, Bolade Farimoyo, is a seamstress from Lagos, while her father, Tony Walker-Peters, is a hard-working auto mechanic from Coventry. Cars were in her blood, and racing was everything – her passion, her identity, her future. Her parents sacrificed everything to support her racing dream – every spare pound went into gear, travel, training, and when they had no money, they borrowed more. And now that it’s all gone, with nothing to show for it, the guilt weighs heavy. She can’t help but feel like she let them down.

Now, Olivia’s not sure who she is without it. She’s struggling to find direction in a life that no longer has the singular thing she always counted on. Her path was already an uphill climb – navigating a white, male-dominated sport as a Black woman from a working-class background. And without racing, she’s trying to figure out what comes next, and how to keep food on the table while doing it.

She meets the main character through their mutual friend, Dan. There’s something in him she recognizes – another person quietly adrift, trying to find a reason to keep going. Maybe that connection is exactly what they both need.

Florence de la Rue
florence de la rue.png
Full name: Florence Ophelia Margaret de la Rue
Age: 21
Height: 174 cm
Weight: 54 kg
Nationality: Guernseywoman, English
Origin: Saint Peter Port, Guernsey

Florence de la Rue was born in Saint Peter Port, Guernsey, into one of the island’s lesser noble families. But she was raised in St Elvan, where her family relocated when she was still a toddler, drawn to the city’s academic prestige and cultural cachet. Her father, Gregory de la Rue, rose through the Tory ranks until he was granted a peerage, now formally known as Gregory Robert James de la Rue, Baron de la Rue of St Elvan. A name built on connections and reinforced by tradition.

From a young age, she was different – gentler, more thoughtful, and less impressed by ceremony than anyone expected. While her father navigated Parliament and polite society, Florence quietly dreamed of becoming a nurse, a path that was gently but firmly discouraged. It wasn’t fitting for someone of her background. But the instinct to care for others never left her, it only grew sharper as she aged.

Florence isn’t hostile to nobility or power – she simply believes they come with an obligation to do more. Her disillusionment has come not from hatred of her class, but from disappointment in how little many of its members seem to care. A large part of her moral grounding comes from her mother, Amanda Truss – a sharp-minded journalist and longtime advocate for animal welfare. Amanda taught Florence that intellect and compassion are not mutually exclusive, and that real change often happens in rooms where you're expected to stay silent.

At university, Florence has become both its brightest student and its student body president. She moves through campus like someone who belongs, but never forgets that the world outside is far more uneven: the irony of her surname’s meaning never escaped her. She’s admired for her intelligence, grace, and sincerity. She simply believes in doing the right thing, even when it’s difficult or unpopular.

Florence surrounds herself with people who challenge her perspective without dismissing her convictions. That’s why Mei is her closest friend – blunt, fearless, and brimming with chaos. Their bond is built on mutual respect: Florence offers stability; Mei offers friction. This keeps them both honest. Florence meets the main character when he arrives at the university under… questionable circumstances. His admission clearly wasn’t earned on paper, and she’s baffled by how he got through the door at all. But instead of writing him off, she chooses to observe. To listen. Something about him doesn’t add up – and Florence is the kind of person who wants to understand, not condemn.

Kristina Novikova
kristina novikova.png
Full name: Kristina Yurievna Novikova
Age: 21
Height: 174 cm
Weight: 51 kg
Nationality: Russian
Origin: Kazan, Russia

Kristina’s story isn’t like anyone else’s. Born in Kazan, Russia, she lost her parents young under circumstances no one has ever been able to fully explain. She was raised by her elderly grandmother until her passing, and for a brief moment, it seemed like Kris might slip through the cracks entirely.

But fate had other plans. At the age of five, she was taken in by Credence – an enigmatic figure who stepped in when no one else would. No one knew him, nor was it clear how he had obtained the legal rights to her adoption, but he had been her guardian, teacher, and father figure ever since. What exactly Credence does for a living remains... opaque. Classified, even. Whatever it is, it kept them constantly on the move. New countries. New identities. New languages. New schools – when there were schools at all. Sometimes it was just her and Credence, with her education unfolding at a kitchen table in a rented apartment halfway across the world.

As a result, Kristina is wildly intelligent, speaking nine languages with various degrees of fluency, not that she’s one to brag about it. Most of what she knows about people, culture, and the world comes from books, movies, and the places she’s passed through like a shadow. What she doesn’t know – what she’s never really had – is a real sense of belonging.

She’s quiet. Reserved. Mild. Careful with her words. Raised by a man who taught her how to move through life unnoticed when necessary, but also how to hold herself with grace and purpose. Her goth appearance isn’t rebellion or performance – it’s simply what feels right to her. She likes the aesthetics. The texture of it. The quiet beauty of wearing black. And yes – she actually knows who the Visigoths were.

For most of her life, forming attachments was off the table. Credence forbade it – not out of cruelty, but protection. When you never know how long you’ll be in one place, friendships become liabilities. Heartbreak becomes inevitable. But things are different now. Credence has settled in St Elvan, taking a job as a handyman at Wendy’s brothel, and for the first time in Kristina’s life, he’s encouraging her to do something completely foreign: Stay. Connect. Try.

She lives at the brothel alongside him – it’s large enough to house them comfortably – and it’s here she crosses paths with Elias, Julianne, and the rest. Kristina wants – desperately – to be part of something. To have friends. But wanting and knowing how are very different things. She’s never had to navigate small talk, inside jokes, or subtle social cues before. Every interaction feels like walking a tightrope without ever having seen one before.

Still, there’s a quiet determination behind her soft-spoken nature. Kris may be inexperienced in matters of the heart, but she’s curious, open, and ready to learn. Slowly, cautiously, she’s stepping out of the world she was raised in, and into one that might finally be hers.

You seem to have put in a lot of work and thought into the game as a whole and not just an initial idea or setting which I think gives this a real shot of being completed.
Even though it is a college/university setting with a young MC the synopsys sounds like it might differentiate itself enough to maybe stand out.
The characters design look good and unique to me.

Q: Will there be any NTR?

A: No. None of the main girls will have any lewd scenes with any other male but the main character. Prostitutes from the brothel mentioned above, however, will engage in various activities with various men. To reiterate, they’re prostitutes who will be doing their job. It’s stated upfront so that we don’t have any misunderstandings down the line.

Q: Will there be any sharing/swinging content?

A: There will be optional sharing content with one of the main love interests – Julianne. It will be entirely your decision whether to engage with it or not, nor will it bear any plot relevance. Reasons for the characters to engage in it will be revealed in the game itself, but I can’t state enough just how optional it will be.
It is good that you are aware of this and are not going in blind. (As per your answer to the comment on patreon)
Reactions will come nevertheless.

Just to maybe clarify those two points:
1. Prostitues: They will be doing their job. Will you be showing them doing their job? Which might change how people feel about them. (And potentially the frequency of their appearance as side girls)
2. Julianne: Correct me if I am wrong, but it sounds like Julianne might be the driving force on this? Which would canonize that being part of her character. Even given the option to then decline that might evoke reactions as people might not see it as optional/avoidable as you might at that point. (Especially given the general interpretation of what a "childhood friend" substitutes by parts of the community)
As for optional/avoidable content it might be best to have the MC(/player) be the (optional) driving force (through some resistance), because once a character open those cans of worms you can not really close them anymore.
I know that this might be difficult in some situations (femdom for example) but I think it still is a good practice generally.

I wish you the best for your project.

It will be shown quite frequently. I'm also aware how it will be received. But the brothel is the central and most important location the game is set in, and that's why I'm providing ample warning.
2. Julianne: Correct me if I am wrong, but it sounds like Julianne might be the driving force on this? Which would canonize that being part of her character. Julianne is not the driving force on this. It's set up in a very specific way where it being optional makes sense and won't evoke any questions of it being codified in her character.
I wish you the best for your project.
Thank you!

Some of the side girls of When We Were Whole:

Magnolia Ashworth
magnolia sushi puggy.png
Full name: Magnolia Annabelle Ashworth
Age: 25
Height: 176 cm
Weight: 55 kg
Nationality: English
Origin: St Elvan, England

Magnolia has been carrying the weight of her family for a long time. When their mother Miranda decided to invest everything in Julianne’s potential – paying for school, lessons, and even sending her abroad – Magnolia stayed behind and picked up the slack. She changed many jobs – a nanny, a housekeeper, a hotel administrator, and a barista, and looked after her mother as her health quietly began to decline. It wasn’t glamorous, but someone had to do it.

By the time Miranda’s illness became impossible to ignore, the debts had already piled up. Shady collectors started calling more frequently, and Magnolia had no choice but to join the brothel full-time just to keep them off their backs. It wasn’t what she wanted for herself, but there was never much room to want anything at all.

When Miranda passed away, Magnolia called Julianne to tell her. Three days later, Julianne was back in St Elvan, carrying her own guilt and grief into a home that no longer felt the same. The two sisters have been at odds ever since – Magnolia doesn’t hide the chip on her shoulder about the opportunities Julianne got, even if she knows deep down that her sister didn’t ask for any of it.

Magnolia is blunt, stubborn, and not easy to impress. She works hard because she has to, not because it makes her feel noble. Elias never impressed her either – born into opulence and privilege, he never once did anything with it to make his – or others’, for that matter – life better. Though, she has to admit to herself, he never once brought it up over anyone else either. Not that she’d ever tell him.

Magnolia doesn’t dwell on what could have been – there’s too much left to do. But every now and then, when she looks at Julianne, there’s something in her expression that gives her away. She knows she’s not being entirely fair. And that makes it worse.

Danielle Hathaway
danielle bike_Camera (6).png
Full name: Danielle Hathaway
Age: 21
Height: 184 cm
Weight: 62 kg
Nationality: English
Origin: Derby, England

Danielle Hathaway is already on her second chapter in life, even though she only just turned 21.

She grew up in Derby, where being tall, athletic, and boyish made her an easy target for small-town bullies. But Dani was never one to back down – every insult got a comeback, and every shove was returned harder. That attitude earned her plenty of enemies, a few minor arrests, and a reputation she eventually decided she’d outgrown.

St Elvan is her chance to start fresh, even if it’s as a prostitute at Wendy Oldham's brothel, Saint's Folly. Dani doesn’t pretend it’s glamorous, but it gives her the independence she has always wanted. She knows how her tomboyish appeal plays – and she uses it, no illusions, no apologies.

Off the clock, she’s all adrenaline and attitude – shooting hoops on the city courts, riding her sports bike through the coastal roads, jumping on her BMX or a skateboard in the nearby park, chasing thrills wherever she can find them. Freedom is the only thing she’s ever really cared about, and she’ll take it any way she can get it.

Danielle is blunt, restless, and sharp around the edges – but she’s not bitter. If anything, she seems to enjoy proving everyone who doubted her wrong, one stubborn choice at a time.

Anna-Maria Yamamoto
anna maria posing_Camera (2)-2.png
Full name: Anna-Maria Yamamoto
Age: 27
Height: 172 cm
Weight: 50 kg
Nationality: Japanese
Origin: Osaka, Japan

Anna-Maria Yamamoto has spent most of her life learning how to survive in a world that never gave her a choice.

She grew up in Osaka as property of the Yakuza – bought, used, and passed around as they saw fit. When one of her clients offered to buy her freedom, she thought it was her way out. But the reality was worse – two months of cruelty and control before he turned up dead under suspicious circumstances.

Anna-Maria was the immediate suspect, but with an airtight alibi, she was quickly cleared. Her testimony – and a few pieces of evidence she brought forward – helped dismantle that Yakuza branch and put several men behind bars. It was the closest thing to justice she’d ever known.

With nothing left for her in Japan, she took a one-way ticket to England and made her way to St Elvan. Not having much else to offer, she returned to the only work she knew. She’s been at Wendy’s brothel, Saint's Folly, for over five years now, and for the first time in her life, she’s found some measure of peace.

Though quiet at first, Anna-Maria has gradually opened up, letting the girls – and the life she’s built here – into her heart. She still carries her scars, but she no longer lets them define her.

Here, she’s more than just what the world once made her.

Imane Aït-Hammou
imane cafee.png
Full name: Imane Aït-Hammou
Age: 29
Height: 176 cm
Weight: 58 kg
Nationality: French, Moroccan
Origin: Marseille, France

Imane has been at Wendy’s brothel longer than just about anyone – and it shows.

Born to a Moroccan father and a French mother, she grew up caught between cultures and expectations in a household that was never quiet and never stable. She found her first real escape in the one person who truly understood her – her best friend, who would also become her first love.

When her family discovered she was a lesbian, the fallout was immediate. She and her lover fled to England, chasing the idea of freedom and a life together. But what Imane thought was forever turned out to be nothing more than a passing fling for the other girl, who left her behind not long after they arrived. Her lover moved on – but Imane stayed, unwilling to crawl back to the family who rejected her.

She’s been at Wendy’s brothel, Saint's Folly, for over a decade now, and in that time, she’s become something of an anchor for the girls who come and go. Imane is warm, open, and always ready to lend an ear or a hand. She’s the one who helps smooth over conflicts and reminds the others, especially newcomers, that they’re not alone here.

When Julianne returns to St Elvan, it’s Imane who steps in to shield her from Magnolia’s bitterness, offering her a place to land and helping everyone navigate the tangle of feelings Miranda’s death left behind. Having known both Julianne and Elias from before they left, she’s one of the few who remembers what things were like when the brothel still felt like a family.

Imane may not call St Elvan home, but she’s made Saint's Folly into a place where others can.

Amaia Agirre Ibarrola
amaia shadow.png
Full name: Amaia Agirre Ibarrola
Age: 37
Height: 174 cm
Weight: 58 kg
Nationality: Spanish
Origin: Pamplona, Spain

At 37, Amaia has become the backbone of Saint's Folly – and she carries that role with quiet authority.

A veteran of the trade, Amaia is from the previous generation of Saint's Folly's girls and, ever since Miranda fell ill, serves as Head Girl, the one who keeps everything running when the others can’t. She knew Julianne and Magnolia’s mother better than anyone. Mentor, friend, sometimes lover… Miranda’s death left a mark on her that will take eternity to fade. But Amaia doesn’t have the luxury of mourning openly. There’s always another crisis to manage, another girl to steady, another fire to put out.

She projects calm, strength, and dependability, and most of the younger girls look up to her as a kind of surrogate elder sister. But there are moments – when she thinks no one’s looking – when her gaze drifts to nothing in particular and her composure slips, just for a second.

Not many in St Elvan know what she left behind in Pamplona all those years ago. But recently, something – or someone – has started to pull at that part of her life again. Letters she doesn’t open. Calls she lets ring out. Even as she keeps the brothel running, a quiet tension has crept into her, like she’s bracing for something she can’t quite stop.

Amaia never talks about Pamplona, but it’s clear she hasn’t forgotten it.
