At some point I was pondering the same thing. I would alzo hazard a guess and say @F95 made the webpage, so it is F95's Zone. Maybe he or she can enlighten us?

F95 was already his nick on kickasstorrents (kat) for many years. I think he used it on other sites aswell. People downloading games all knew that name. When kat went down for the first time? He launched this site, iirc.
