Wow... what a fucking amazing game this is. I have been entertained from start to finish without a single dull/boring moment. Good fucking job, you guys are unbelievably good at this. Every time you put out a new episode you top the previous one. This is easily in the top 5 best games in the genre, if not the top 5 best adult games in existence... period.

Keep it up. This is such a great game. Draw it out as long as you want, seriously. Hell... feel free to go for 500 episodes like you're writing fucking F-R-I-E-N-D-S, you won't hear me complaining.

Where The Heart Is is one of the very small handful of games that I give a full 5.0 out of 5.0 rating to. This game IS perfection.

Characters:
This is a game where the strongest part is the writing. All the characters feel like real people and how they respond to situations is always consistent with their personality. These characters draw you in and leave you wondering how they will respond to what is going on.

Art style:
The art in the game is clearly created by a single artist as all the charters and background images are in the same style with consistent quality. The detail in the images is high without having a photo realistic feel.

Coding Quality:
One play-through up to and including chapter 8 was performed, and there were no bugs or error messages encountered.

Audio:
The game does not appear to have background music or sound effects. (please note that I primarily play with the audio on my computer muted but for this review I replayed through chapter 1 to confirm the lack of audio)

This is a product of undeniable quality. The decision to release in episodically makes it more enjoyable as everything in the section of the story that you are playing is completed giving the product an undeniable impression of being polished.

Incredible. A hell of a lot of good fun. Hats off to the developers - it's so close to brilliant. You've really managed to build a great story arc with the characters, so much so that the build-up is where it is at (and should be). Five stars.

The graphics in the first couple of episodes are simply ok... not all that great. But they are greatly improvig.. to where they are one of the best looking games on this site.

I really love this game. The graphics are great. The women are fantastic. For some reason I'm really turned on most by the milf character. She can be such a tease yet she is also horny so this is great. The older "sister" is hot and the last episode was terrific with her at the party. Amazing ending. Can't wait to see where the relationship with the younger sister goes. She is turning into a butterfly before our eyes! Would be interested in seeing more of ALL the side characters, even the bitch at the coffee shop.

Very good overall experience and a wide assortment of girls will make sure there is a girl fitting your preference for most people(except for lolis but for me thats a not a negative as i always disliked that sort of content) and most of them have atleast some sort of depth to them.

Mostly great but sometimes(especially early on) theres the occational wierd expression.
Some people hate on a certain character for not having a perfect face but honestly for me it adds a bit for realism, i mean do all girls you meet in real life have a great face?

Really good game, render + story wise 10/10, i wanna see more of how the creator is gonna push it i hope he follows his narrative of the story instead of pandering, but as of now (Days before release EP 9) the game is one of the best out!

This game has one of the best storylines I have ever encountered in any adult content. The dialogues and the narrative are almost impeccable. And when it comes to humor, nothing can beat this game. At one point I was solely playing to enjoy the story and to have a good laugh rather than for any sexual content. Not that it fails to deliver on the later; the sexual encounters are spicey and enjoyable. Amazing game; kudos to the developer.

Very good and humorous story line, it's like a breath of fresh air! Besides the ugly neighbor, the women her are beautiful and have substance. Again, the story is awesome, the renders can be better tho that's my only "issue". Great work on the MC and him not being the typical one's that I see in every game.

Good renders and writing, some unique and memorable models like Zarah. I quite liked it up until the party in Episode 8 where it sadly became another game that completely turned me off with a baffling plot development.

The MC suddenly turns into a grunting caveman/frat boy, spouting some of the cringiest tough guy dialogue I've ever read, while Katie's plan to get back at her ex boyfriend turns from "tehehe, epic prank" to "you people should probably go to jail."

Revenge porn, sexual assault, physical assault, it's all fun and games I guess, because it makes Katie horny, so that's all that matters really. Also the game has a weird hang up about social issues, where the MC calls out other people for racism or homophobia, but then their epic revenge plot involves having Katie's ex boyfriend unknowingly getting sucked off by a gay dude to videotape it and then go "haha, look at that faggot!" I'm sure getting sexually assaulted cured that guy's homophobia.

Episode 8 is a fucking mess and I felt dirty after playing it and not in a good way.

Is it me, or Katie is dead gorgeous?! She has to be my favorite character in the game.
I like the fact that the game tries to cover a lot of kinks (the ugly duckling, the insecure older women, some of them you have to romance, others you have to dominate...).

This rate is made after playing Ep.8:

First of all, the history, your mother dies (nothing new) your father dies recently (man all the main cheracters on adult games are orphan?). And you are returning to your childhood home to visit your deceased mother's best friend. At this point we found the common argument of a non incest adult game. So we have three main female characters: Monica (the "mom", huge body size), and her daughters Kelly ( the "bitch", sport body tipe) and Jenna (the "nerd", huge body size). There are more side characters, like Zarra and kelly's friends).

The game is made like a VN whith one single direction, but all the female chars have stats, they will increase or not depending on your decissions. The idea is that if you don't want to progress whith one character you only have to choose cold or neutral answers.

Monica (8/10) : super hot body, big ass and tits. Allways in home doing chores whith no time for herself. Your "goal", make her remember she is still atractive. If you push her too much she will get angry to you and will trow away of her house, if you are cold she will lose interest and there will be no action.

Katie (8/10): thin body, tiny tits and 10/10 ass. You are allways in fight whith her, your "goal" you choose gentle and a little tricky you will get her, if you don't she will bully you and all conversations will end whith insults.

Jenna (?/10): The "nerd". Girl whith complexes, shy, only focussed on studies and computers. Your "goal" make her more confident whith her body and whith her relations, she has the slower pacing, be careful whith your answers or she will be more introverted. This character has a lot of potential, but sadly her plot is not developed. She has a big signify in the main history, but less "action", there are side characters whith more "action" than Jenna.

Plot (9/10). The firts game here I read everyword whith not cliking like an obsses. The main plot is not developed but the relations whith Monica and Katie are. Enjoy the fights whith Katie and the romance growing whith Monica. This is a real visual novel, not just a simple history between sex scenes.

Visuals/graphics (6/10): not the best, wrong model choice. Talking about the 3 main women, Monica great body, but not great face, Jenna the same maybe her face is somelike generic. Katie is the winner here (and I'm not in gym bodies) her face maybe is the best worked. You will not find amazing animations here.

The Dev (9/10): Awesome, great guy, friendly, close to the pleople. Maybe you can think is not important, but you will find that talking whith the dev or reading him, making suggestions, sharing ideas, is one of the best things here in this forum.

Overall: Katie win here, all characters plots are awesome, but she has plot, the looks, and sex scenes. On 2nd place Monica, great plot, has sex scenes but fails on her looks. Last but not least Jenna, great plot but generic looks.
Resume: if you are here is for the great history, you will fall in love whith it, and sometimes you fall in love whith a woman not by her looks but by her personality.

Well here we are.I never thought I would spend a second writing a review on this site.Dont get me wrong,there are multiple examples of great games in this corner of the web....and then there is this gem,this....words are hard to come by.I downloaded this out of pure boredom one day expecting your run of the mill vn corruption simulator,and what happened next I can only describe as a enormous surprise to say the least.First few days in this game will look like everything you seen before on the first glance,but diving deeper into it you will discover what truly separates this game from the rest of the pack.The rest of the reviews you will see for this game cover mostly everything you need to know(especially about the humor),but what is not stated enough is how the rest of the characters are developed.

Finished the current episode trying to get with as many girls I can,ended up being sorry for not focusing solely on Kate(YEAH that is how much this character is well developed)....of course this is my humble opinion,and it is in your rights to disagree.To the game developer I can only say thank you....from the heart.

one of the best games i played. The visuals are great, the story is believable, the pace is right, the girls are sexy and the scenes are hot!
All girls have different personality and appearance and even though they are all looking good its not the cliche of huge tits and asses at every one. The story is fine but its important to say that there is actually story in this game. And its not incest too!
Something else that this game does different is that the MC is not an hopeless nerd that wants to fuck everyone but instead a good looking jock that is attractive enough for women to like him without mind controls or a monster size dick (but his dick is still huge lol).
Finally the game gives lots of choice at what to say and do which means that you can even mess up and not every choice will get you laid which is more realistic than other games.

I give this 5 stars because i did not found anything i didnt like playing it and it really is that good. A must if you are sick and tired of the same incest games!

2 absolutely ugly women, but that can be skipped. This game has 10/10 on me. Why. Do I get excited of the cartoon or fictional characters who are doing this? The game is excellent. The renders are spot on (even if some of the people aren't happy with how some of the older characters look) and there are so many nice little touches like the eyes actually moving and blinking. Really adds a great amount to the visuals.
The story is very good. While you can play it (at least currently) as a typical harem game, each of then characters have a real depth to them which makes each gain more significant. Can't wait to see where the story goes from here.

Fucking awesome! Another very nice game, what flown under my radar unnoticed for so long. Shame on me! I enjoyed cheeky conversations and had a lot of laughs. If someone points at "ugly" models, don't take him too serious. Actually I'm glad for them. Not everyone's living in a house, full of supermodel chicks . I'm eagerly awaiting another Katie's and another girls adventures. I hope the tag "abandoned" will avoid this game.
