There were those times when iphones got so popular, some isheeps were lining up in front of the stores. If i may make a comparison to that, so many have their hands on their dicks waiting in line for the update to drop to fap it up. That image alone makes me die of laughter

Btw, while waiting last night i decided to kill time by doing some changes to the traffic in my city in Cities: Skylines and ended up completely redesigning the whole public transport for a 680k city.

still not out, last news were 7 hours ago, where cheeky says it's almost 6am where he lives, so he needed to sleep

If u follow this game up till now u might have known that they had problems with team member leaving the team where their main renders had to be redone so they had their reason for late release ...
I still follow up with game because they were having constant flow of update every 2 months

I found this game two days ago and it was a great ride. Loved the focus on kissing in this game and affection to each other.

But that happened in January no?
So about one month into development of episode 17. If that's the case and the person ran off with every single render they had for episode 17 + the script (which would've been insane and we know that's not the case) that would mean that they need an extra month on top of the normal 2 month schedule. We're 5 months in and no update to be seen.

It'll help at least the sane ones if someone higher up on the Patreon tier, share the 2 new 'Updates' that are shared today. Quite sure it is some text about what's happening at their end.
I'm eager to play too, but i can wait. Anyway, can we have a word from the devs about why is it getting delayed this time?

Has been shared already: Playtesting and prooofreading still in progress. Dev went to bed at 5:50 a.m. for some rest after working on it for 36 hours.
I don’t think these guys are running a fraud like some other devs, but the recent lack of organization and foresight is concerning

Hmmm. Getting a bit tense in here. I can understand though given the wait, but we would rather delay than release an inferior product. We are finalizing things now and so long as something else major doesn't jump out at us from the QC guys it will be released today.
As for the question of are we working, it's just my word, but Cheeky has been putting in 14-19 hours solid on the game the last 3 days. I've been close behind those numbers.
As for those curious about the pay. Honestly, only the top tier devs in the adult VN community make what you would consider a full time jobs pay doing this. Cheeky maintains a fulltime job outside of this (and is still working, although he took days off to tie up this update), Red I'm pretty sure is a fulltimer outside of this as well, not sure about Cell, but I would assume so also. I'm the only one that doesn't work per say (full time dad). I am positive that after the money is split between us that none of us make what would be considered minimum wage where I live in the US (8-10$ an hour in most places).
There is also the factor of assets. The models/backgrounds etc we use aren't free, at least if you purchase the rights to use them which we do. Just the clothing you see on Jenna this episode for example, was 400$ US. Adult VN development is usually a labor of love and/or perversion.

Hehe. The usual lag time to it leaking here is usually less than 2 hours. Our patreons did get a break last release though because of the holiday and had it almost a whole day. With the upgrades to our tiers for everyone because of the delay. I'm calling one hour this time after patreon release.
