Ren'Py - Whispers of Desire [v0.30] [Mr_Fable]

A very good start of a slow burn game. I hope the creator keeps it this way and does not rush into the corruption too early. Also, the focus should remain upon the relationship of the MC and the FC. Looking forward to the future versions.

A very good game, very enjoyable and a big turn on involving sharing or cheating topic.
Sadly at this instance there's not any lewd NTS or NTR scene i really was looking forward to enjoy it and it would allow me be more accurate at rating.
In my opinion everything about graphics it's great. Characters, renders, hot scenes, animations, the paring with dialogue, quality and details.
The storyline us going fine. I don't like the way the boss and the psychologist are easily manipulating them foward NTS. I felt pushed out of the immersion. Too much unreal sounds like a white card used to drive the story easier. This is the only bad point and partially the star missing in my rating.
It's still soon to be sure but is really promising ñ

The writing is very dry and just feels like we are just going through the motions already! Absolutely nothing of interest is said by the characters, giving them zero personality and therefore zero investment. The renders are ok but none of them stand out and the wife is not particularly attractive, just very generic looking. Animations also have a low frame rate but serve their purpose I guess. If the writing can be improved upon, maybe there is something there, but that's a big if.

As others have already noted, the dialogue and internal monologues aren't yet optimally written. The descriptions of obvious and visually presented plot steps also forces you to skip "unseen text" after three minutes at the most. The presentation and pacing is fine, but I feel it lacks originality. We've seen this plot hundreds of times before, and we all know how it ends. I don't expect anything new here, but it's important to stage the individual key scenes in an exciting and well-crafted way to still have some traction. i hope to see this in the future.

Strengths:

• MC and FMC's relationship: 100/100, great importance and attention to each other, complete love, proof of love in actions, behavior, reactions, and everything else, no neglect of each other, the dance scene between them 100/100
• FMC: Original appearance + combination of hot, beautiful, and elegant + Personality: Kind, multi-dimensional, elegant, doesn't walk around naked, high self-confidence and self-esteem, high resistance.
• MC: High self-confidence, high self-esteem, no insecurities, kind, well-spoken, capable in sex, multi-dimensional
• FMC's best friend: Original, sweet, and endearing appearance
• Receptionist girl: Copied appearance and not very attractive
• Psychiatrist: Original + captivating aura
• Story: Hot setup and concept (MC and FMC work in the same place), relationship-focused story, we don't know much else about the story yet
• Atmosphere: Could be better, but it managed to immerse me. However, it needs a bit more work
• Writing: Not simple and dry, not long and redundant, I enjoyed it, it was engaging

Suggestions and Weaknesses:

• Render: I expect this excellent game to have top-notch rendering. The current render isn't bad at all, 6.5/10, but this game deserves a render score of 9/10 or 10/10
• Animation: Again, not bad at all, but not great either. I couldn't get immersed in it
• Transition issue: It's better if it doesn't move too sharply between renders; a smoother movement provides a better experience
• Sandbox and cartoonish design: Sandbox definitely reduces immersion in this game. This game is not suitable for a sandbox, and the cartoonish design of the houses is also not suitable for this 3DCG game
• Descriptions: Sara sits on a chair, a dialogue tells me she sat on the chair. Another dialogue tells me how her clothes felt when she sat on the chair. These dialogues are redundant, have no appeal, and are unnecessary, as I can see Sara going to the bathroom or sitting on a chair
• Inability to change MC's name
• Looping sound: For example, in a render, an SMS sound plays, and in real life, if you wait for a moment, this sound keeps repeating, forcing you to mute the sound entirely for a moment

These weaknesses are solvable; they are not fundamental or unchangeable. Meaning, they are not like relationships or characters, etc., where we'd say they can't be fixed. So, I still consider this game worthy of 5/5, but I am definitely and 100% looking forward to and hopeful that these issues will be resolved. I will update the review in the next update

This is another VN with a couple trying out their sexual fantasies.
Fetishes like cheating, swinging, voyeurism, exhibitionism etc.
It seems to be more of a slow burn and it's only version 0.1 so there's just one lewd scene, which is perfectly fine.

The renders are fairly well done but lack props or any extra detail. All women are good looking. Rooms, offices and hallways look empty half the time, with no other people, furniture or decorations. The environments have been used many times in other games before.

Narration will say - The MC is drying off from the shower. Putting on a dress then heels and checking herself in the mirror.
The husband sits down on the couch and watches TV, He hears his phone buzzing and looks at it.
There are pictures showing all these actions so we obviously don't need to read it as narration too!

The dialogue is very poor. English would not be this Dev's first language. Its very simple and meaningless most of the time. You could skip 9 out of 10 lines and be fine. Dialogue between characters is robotic, as if it's made by AI.
"Are you the new IT administrator starting next Monday?"
"Yes I am the new IT administrator starting next Monday"
"I am thirsty for a glass of water"

It's honestly like reading a children's book. I can't believe that someone can release a game with this type of writing. There should be a law against it! The description states story many times. There is no story! It's just about a couple living their life. Nothing with any purpose but to have the couple get involved with random sexual situations.

There is a sandbox but you can't choose a different location to where the game needs you to go, so it's pointless to have it in there.
There's only one hope for this game - hire a writer!

Great game. Very good story ( hope it will continue like this logical slow burn approach). The wife is so beautiful. The renders and animations are excellent. Best wishes. Looking forward for the next updates.

Great for first version, fmc looking good and renders and the progression of the story is looking good, liked the corruption of FMC would have loved if you show what situation can come for her but will wait for next update.

Really liked the renders and the progression of the story. Love the character models ; specifically the FMC looks stunning. Meaningful choices and love the character stats menu that allows you to track how your choices affect the characters. Looking forward for future updates.
