Well, it seems I left this thread for too long, haha, a lot has been said.
What I think is a bit different about Mr Fable 's approach is the recognition that Sarah and Alex actually both have brains.
Too many games have the sense that the MC and FMC are just brain-dead tropes waiting to happen, in what are "black and white" choices made by players along a pre-defined, well-worn path, like thousand of other games before them.
Alex and Sarah both have well-paid jobs in what is a cut-throat employment environment. That takes some brain-power, right? They didn't just walk in, flash their cock-n-pussy and get the job..?? They had skills and talents and knowledge, right? Players might like to ignore this fact in so many games.
But, I see that Mr Fable is trying to give them "agency" together in at least two paths out of four, yet still catering to the "she's a brain-dead cheating bimbo-slut, and he's an ignorant cuck" crowd in the others.
Its the first two for me.
I like the sense of agency, and the ability to refuse certain antagonists, perhaps even twisting them to the MC/FMC schemes instead of the other way around. I mean, manipulation doesn't have to come from only one side of a discussion or plan....

Lack of intelligence (and you are also wrongly equating that with having the usual credentials) and promiscuity are not really linked in contemporary societies (it is rather an old prejudice against the lower classes not being able to discipline themselves and not being morally educated) - it's rather the opposite nowadays. The self-image of being enlightened, modern, progressive and "open" leads to more sexual tolerance towards others and yourself, especially in the usual corporate environment. So brain-dead or not has nothing to do with it. This is,, of course, a further way of discrediting NTR narratives.

None of this is "new" or "modern". Sexual freedoms and kinks have been around forever. And this is not the first "progressive society" to exist.
I realise nothing is "black or white". We all live in the grey area between, and some are "off the deep end " too. It has always been this way, whether it had labels, acronyms or codes, or not. Shit, my grandfather had some good stories, lol. His first wife was naughty, haha.

Not saying all NTR is bad either, some of it is great. Just not when it's just trope after trope. That is what I was getting at, the stereotypical bullshit I see too often. The same reason I see so many comments about ctrl-skip....
And yeah, I have my preferences, just like everyone else here. I am sure you have yours too, which is fine.
That is also just the way it is.

Tropes abound in about 95% of the games on this site - in all subjects, Harem, NTR etc - and roughly 98% in mainstream TV and movies. Live long enough and you can practically write a TV series after watching the first two episodes. Movies you can most likely identify what is going to happen and even where the so called “twist” will be In the first 15 minutes. It is the very rare VN or mainstream show that truly breaks the mold with something novel. Sorry, but I see this criticism leveled a lot as if it is is something unheard of. It is not about the so-called tropes, it is about how the story is told and the quality of the product. You may have seen or heard it before, but is it told in such a way that makes you feel? Anger? Frustration? Apprehensive? Lustful? You may see where it’s going, but it is the journey getting there. So far, this is a high quality VN that is doing it right. Yep, I can identify tropes and archetypes- so what? By the way, I think enlisting the therapist is a rather novel approach. Haven’t really seen that take.…but I digest. The question is, can you just enjoy the ride?
