RPGM - Whispers of the Dark Elf [Ch.1 v1.5 Preview] [Darthz]

Rarely do you ever find a game in which you can actually empathize with the antagonist and feel that he's following his pure instinct but still feels bad for the people he wrongs. The art is very beautiful in it's own way, I really dig the simplistic comic artstyle I really think it fits this game alot.

On top of that the maps are made beautifully and I like that there are sections in the game where u have control over what to do before going on with the story, no useless running around in a sandbox with nothing to do but an actual flow of a story. The events are played out in different perspectives so it's neither pure ntr, nor pure netori or corruption but a mixture of all of them which you rarely if ever see in modern games.

Overall this is an easy 5/5 and I urge everyone to play it, the diversity and personality of the cast makes it all the better and the characters are actually memorable.

This can be easily called a classic.
You may develop some prejudgment against RPGM engine after trying many and feeling that RPGM engine is old news when it comes creating an intersting game, not to mention, run kinetic novel in it. This game is a proof, with right skill, RPGM may deliver kinetic novel a way that not only glue your attention to story (excellent narration btw) but gives your immersive expirience and to live in with in-game characters.
Five stars and plus and it fully deserves it.

The story is perfectly fine, the art is amazing, and there is a decent amount of content already with many different girls. There is not really much to dislike about the game, and I can't wait for the full release. Need more dark elf content though.

Really enjoyed this one, NTR isn't really my thing but i like RPGs and especially ones that have decent game play and no Bugs.

Masterpiece and it's just the beginning:

WOTDE is a great NTR with a touch of netori, it has simple gameplay for those who are just looking for an easy fap, it has a good art, with great animations and variety of scenes, the characters are very beautiful with good designs, the story is good and complements the characters' personality.
The work on SFX is another positive point, it improves scenes that are already good.

This is a rather light-hearted NTR game in the same way that "My Girlfriend Advanced to the Dancer Class and She Buffs Everybody" is.
Meaning it is less about drama and feelings of loss, betrayal and despair and more about taken women being willing sluts (although as of current version noone comes even close to Sana in that regard).

Despite following the pov of clueless cucks for the most of the time the story actually focuses more on the "bull" Glavius. I feel that we as players get the most insight about his antics and personality compared to all the other characters, so I guess you could say this game leans somewhat into "netori" direction.
Glavius is a rather conflicted guy, but the ladies seem to enjoy their time with him in the end so I am not complaining.
I found it enjoyable as well.

Gameplaywise the game is very easy, your party is strong from the start and there is no grind or management involved. Just a relaxing story-focused experience where the action only servers as a background for the scenes.

The H-Scenes are well-drawn and neatly animated so yeah.
I will be keeping an eye open for future versions.

If you like big titty elves not being able to resist the temptation of superior human meat, then congratulations you've found a great game.

Don't have to worry about this dev making excuses that they are reworking RPGmaker for the 50th time as an update because they actually make their own art, every update has brought new energy to the story.

It's a simple game. It's one of those games where the MC can't pick up on obvious clues. While I found some of the NTR reasoning to be justified, it happens very quickly. Then there's the general story. For instance, one character is a former member of the MC's party. He's shunned by the kingdom all because he got an injury despite being present all the way to the final battle. I find that very hard to believe. In short, the game isn't written well and battles are a joke because the party is OP. But who cares about that! This is an honest game! It's not trying to tell you some grand story. The dev wanted to make an NTR game with fat elf tits and the madlad did it! This game is all about the art. It throws you a new scene at just the right time to keep you interested. Scenes that are well animated might I mention. Definitely worth following if you want something quick.

I should mention, as of Trial v1.1, I kept getting an error message and then the game would crash. It would consistently happen during a scene. The game features autosaving so it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Edit: Starting v1.2, there is a pov switch that makes the game feel more like a netori. There is also a surprising amount of depth to the character, but it's only for him. Everyone else remains as dumb or as easy as they have.

A short but enjoyable trial with some good art. But this is one of those games where you have to ask, "Why is this a game?" There aren't any choices to make, and canonically your character is a retired hero, so even the generic RPG maker fights are made more boring by being impossible to lose. This design would work better in a VN format.

Seems a very interesting start for a netorare game. I don't think we can expect a deep type B corruption since two out of the three heroines are already cheating totally willingly, but that isn't a negative per se. Might be a bit quick for corruption enjoyers, but it's valid anyway and the art is very nice. Recommended.

good art and fine story thats not too short where you imagine why bother at all and not too long that you feel the need to skip text to get anything substantive. Has simple yet hot animations and the girls personalities are excellent for this NTR adventure. A good natured and kind wife thats distrusting to the antagonist due to his personality, a tomboyish warrior girl and a horny already fallen elf thats just waiting to help these girls find their inner craving for human dick.

The game part in this porn game is simple some basic jrpg stuff pretty good at keeping the scenes far enough away that it doesnt seem like everything is happening lightning fast, but also isnt a slog to get through.

My only criticism is that one of the girls fell too fast it pretty much immediately happens offering no resistance.

NTR: 4 stars It has one excellent NTR story going on which thankfully is the main one the others so far are mediocre; if you can forgive the medicore stories than its 5 stars for sure.

I think it is without a doubt one of the best hentai rpg games today, although it is very little the content promises much, much better than very experienced Japanese artists, the NTR plot is good, it is not tedious with a lot of text, it is great, and finally a RPG game with moving scenes, I think it is spectacular, please continue with this great game, I hope for a lot of content in the future. 10/10

For a trial, this game shows good promise. The writing isn't quite that and is marred by a few english mistakes in general, as well as the flow and structure of some sentences not being quite as fluid as they could be, but as usual we can chalk this up to both a fledgling writer as well as it not being his primary language, which I'm fairly sure are both true.

This is not a huge detriment however as the game doesn't really take itself fully seriously and the corruption/blackmail happens really fast; sometimes, a bit too fast for my liking (red hair chick), but for the wife, it seems fair and acceptable within the realm of H stories stupidity.

The drawings are fine IMO and good/average 2D art is always a boon in my opinion as it's more refreshing than the sludge of Koikatu/Honey Select you see and makes the game stand out more.

I removed one star mostly due to the battle system in this RPGM - Since storywise everyone is supposed to be so strong, and they are, the battles are more of a formality. Despite this, mobs still take two hits to kill, which makes some battles and particularly the entire pillar section of this trial version quite annoying.

Lastly, something that I must praise the game quite highly for, is that in the memory room there is a layout for each act of the game. This means that the story in general seems to be fairly structured for the developer which is a great help and makes me believe that this game won't get abandoned/dropped/remade/scratched, and helps a lot on making you feel like it's worth playing it through even if it's just a trial.

This game is really good, beautiful images, beautiful animations and a story that suits my taste (NTR and fast corruption) , this will be one of the games that I seriously pay attention to. And if this game is not abandoned, I will not hesitate to become his subscriber

I realise that this is both an initial release and it won't be to everyone's tastes (NTR and fast corruption) but it really hit the right spot for me. Hand drawn art is always a massive plus and the animations are great too. The script definately needs a clean up but the dev is very earnest and if you're looking for thicc MILF's cucking their elf husbands then you won't go too far wrong with this game. It's certainly one on my radar now.

I will be honest the writing is not there, but it's self-aware enough that it acknowledges that you weren't here for it in the first place, and primarily uses it as a vehicle to set up situations for NTR.

Aside from that, this is a fairly good game, from this demo alone. Art is good, animation is good, and the premise is good. The only thing left to do is to take this baby back around and close the loop. The density of the scenes for just the first Chapter seems rather fair.
