RPGM - Completed - Whispers of the Dark Elf [v1.0] [Darthz]

Great art: Girls are drawn incredibly attractively— their proportions, emotional expressions, everything is a real treat for the eyes. Just how i like it when it comes to NTR.

Non-grindy gameplay: When I downloading a vn made on RPGM, I brace myself for tons of grinding. Here, there's absolutely none — huge thanks to the developer for that.

Solid plot: Great dialogues. They feel natural and engaging. Main plot wasn't written by a 12-year-old — the storytelling has real maturity and thought behind it. Pleasant English. Text reads smoothly and enjoyably. Central characters aren't annoying, except for the main clichéd protagonist who's overly naive and dense. But I came to terms with that because the narration isn't solely from his perspective — it's told from multiple characters' points of view, which makes it much more bearable and interesting.

Tons of content: Game is fully complete, which earns the developer major respect. From what I know, he's currently working on a sequel, so I'll definitely be waiting for it.

Really good game with multiple routes, a good story, good characters, great art, and okay animations. Not amazing, but solid enough. The dev is reliable and actually completes their work, which is extremely rare. On paper this has everything needed for a 5 out of 5, and I am tempted to rate it that. But there are a few issues.

There are a lot of characters and scenes, and it becomes hard to care about some of them. I did not mind the friend who cheats with some black dude in small doses, but I did not care for going on an entire journey with her. She is already a massive whore, and trust me she'd call herself one proudly, who will sleep with anything, so watching her cheat and corruption unfold is not that appealing to me as an NTR fan. The enjoyment comes from watching a pure relationship get corrupted. The more pure the relationships, the higher the stakes, the higher the payoff. The best route by far is the blonde elf, the wife of the hero with a family. The scenes with her are extremely well done. My only issue there is that she gets corrupted too quickly. It feels like a sudden switch flips. It does not feel gradual enough. I wish her route had taken longer and had more focus instead of cutting away to so many other characters.

I was surprised by how much I ended up liking the redhead. If I am being honest, her route and ending up with her is the best outcome for the MC and the one I would personally choose. At first I did not expect to care much about her since she just seemed like a hot side character with a few scenes, but her storyline ended up being great.

The farm girl is very hot. Good scenes there. I also really like the innkeeper with the flat chest and massive dumper. She is great. There are other side characters with decent scenes as well.

I’m giving this a 4. The game has a ton of strong qualities and the dev himself is a 5 out of 5. He is reliable, consistent, and actually finishes his work, and the game shows that level of polish. The writing, world, routes, and characters are all well above average and there are some genuinely great storylines here.

The only reason I cannot give it a 5, as much as I want to, is personal preference. Some scenes and characters did not land for me, and the main heroine’s corruption is far too fast for my taste. With a little more focus on her and a slower burn, this would have easily been a perfect score.

Even so, it is absolutely worth playing. The dev delivers quality and deserves all the support and, honestly, more. If more devs worked like this, the entire genre would be in a much better place.

At first it looks like decent rpgm game with somewhat unique art-style. Sadly the more i played the less i liked it.

- combat sucks, you can pretty much win any fight by just holding Z and watching slow ass animations, characters are overpowered and there is no difficulty
- H content focused too much on NTR, i mean i get it some people like this stuff, I for example dont hate it but if whole game is around one guy fucking everyone else wifes and getting away with it i find it rather boring
- writing is very silly and stupid, there is a lot of story but also everything is either mid or characters are super foolish and dumb, acting like they dont see obvious things, or they do stupid decisions that make no sense
- didnt like H scenes, art-style just aint it when everyone and everything looks the same. I mean literally every female character is big titty bimbo with barely any unique elements, it just feels bland

Time played 5hr 30mins with fast reading. Story works and no complaints, pretty standard but won't blow away. It's lighthearted and a bit silly and humorous at times. Has some fetish content like smegma, etc don't care for and off-putting to me personally. I like the art style as far as faces, hair, and clothes go, it's well done. Would have preferred body type variants among main cast as they're all giga stacked, which fine, I can tolerate but a little variation wouldn't have hurt.

Conclusion: worth playing if character designs are appealing + want 5-7Hr NTR romp

A great NTR theme game. It's pretty rare to see a western indie dev complete their game and moving on to the sequels so it's a huge plus. The story is good, I'm enjoy every bit of it, and the plot even deeper than I thought. The arts are unique, and this contain a pretty handful of fetishes. The only minus point i give is the gameplay, it's okay at the beginning but it become repetitive and overcomplicated, while the combat is just spamming attack and heal, the dev didn't dig much in the combat system (for example: the elemental spell should play more important role instead of only spamming normal attack).
Overall, this is a decent game, decent amount of making, and i would highly recommend you playing it (if your preference including heavy NTR, of course)

Really Enjoyed my time playing the game, The artwork and animations were fantastic, alongside great dialogue and enjoyable story. The characters were amazing with the girls being extremely sexy and lewd. A really good NTR corruption game, with my favourite parts being the vulgar and filthy scenes involving the girls such as Hilda and Sephira engaging in filthy , degenerate acts. Hilda
and Sephira stood out the most to me and are were my favourite characters , I enjoyed all of their scenes, especially the nasty scenes and themes involving these two with Gladuis, Kamal, Other men, Orcs etc... loved the Vulgur scenes involving orcs, monsters and filthy men (Highly recommend for those who love degenerate themes such as Smegma, vacuum blowjobs, cum burps, ass clapping, multiple partners, cheating, slutty bimbo girls and more). My only criticism will be the actual gameplay and combat being quite lackluster, but that didn't take away from my enjoyment of the game. I look forward to seeing more works and future projects by Darthz involving more of these degenerate themes like smegma cleaning, vacuum blowjobs, cum burps, ass clapping, cheating with multiple different males and species etc...

Absolutely amazing game. Focuses on themes of cheating and cucking with a side of corruption in there too. These depraved women break fast and do tons of messed up things, example being the "nasty" tag which in this case is smegma blowjobs and cumburps/semenburps. Also this creator has ass clapping in here too with bimbo proportions, actual man of culture. But anyway these scenes have tons of dialogue, smut and depravity with audio too. What more could you ask for?

The story follows the Elf hero who once saved the kingdom from the Dark Lord and is now having to pay the price for his past decisions to let the Dark Lords daughter survive. The plot is fairly standard with a couple of plot twists and well written moments. The game has multiple unique endings with different girls and the writing is pretty decent even managing to have some decent humor.

The animations and models are all 2dcg and are well drawn. The game has over 25 h-scene with each having at least 1 animation (most with multiple) and numerous CG’s. The art also focuses heavily on the fact almost all of the women are married and have their wedding rings prominently displayed in most shot. The game boasts a wide selection of girls all of whom are well drawn and have unique designs, minus the fact they all have enormous tits and asses, with the expectation of one girl (who only has a huge ass). The only issues I had with the artwork was that the animations in Act 1 feel significantly less polished than the rest of the game and some girls have almost no h-events.

The writing as mention above is pretty good, its starts out lack luster but really improves as the game progress. The games spelling and grammar is annoying at times, but is easy enough to understand. The game jumps right into the H-scenes, so you won’t be subjected to 2hrs of text boxes till you get any real “plot”. A lot of the situation the characters are put in is really hot and covers a wide range of the NTR/NTS genre. However, the pacing of the corruption in the games is extremely rushed to the point it’s jarring. This could be forgiven if there was a good narrative reason as to why each character succumb to the most basic of advances. Unfortunately, the justifications are incredibly lazy and don’t feel even remotely believable (even by H-game standards).

The game play is also quite disappointing. The game world is pretty large but for most of it you are on rails just walking from point A to point B, coupled with heavily restricted movement on where you can go. The combat also feels pointless as you are so much stronger than the enemies, they are never a challenge and it just goes to further slows down the game. Speaking of slow, the skip function feels pointless as the text moves at a snail’s pace, thankfully this is only really an issue when you want to see alternate endings, or are replaying an event.

Overall, the art and story do most of the heavy lifting in this game as everything either doesn't help or actively makes the overall experience feel worse 3.5/5.

A really solid game from start to finish, with bonus points for being completed without being rushed or abandoned.

The art has a unique quality to it that really grows on you, and you can see the artist improve as the game goes on, which is always great. Some people aren't going to like it, but I think it's a major selling point and love it.

The story is good, it's not going to blow your mind, and we're frankly starved for corruption games right now, but even ignoring the drought, this is a good story which keeps you invested. The branching alternate endings are also really appreciated, with the various off ramps they represent.

The sex scenes are also great, though there are a few scenes that should absolutely be in the final act, but aren't.
The major flaw is the spelling and overall lack of an editor in the writing. It all still works great, but the regular spelling errors and grammatical errors can throw you out of it. I strongly recommend the dev to hire an editor to do a pass on the script, if possible.

Amazing game for NTR and corruption enjoyers!

The art is probably the strong suit of the game, it's great, hot and fairly unique as well.

Story is decent with light hearted humor, writing is good enough to keep you engaged.

There is a good amount of variety of scenes and endings for the player to choose, something that is appreciated.

Overall just a great game but not a masterpiece a solid 9/10 imo, if i had to point out something i don't like is that the corruption is too fast paced, and all female characters are secret sluts with little complexity.

V1.0-Complete Game Review:

One of the best adult and especially NTR Games out there. An exciting fun Story along such memorable Characters, amazing 2d art and great animations. The dialogue is pretty hot during H scenes yet also funny at story moments, made me laugh couple times, never had such fun reading dialogue in a porngame before. And if you mainly for the NTR and sex part, can tell you, it has a lot of scenes and most of them so well made. The girls may have similar body types but if you into big boobs and butts then the game is surely made for you. And couple of variety if it comes to different kinks. The gameplay is pretty baisc RPG elements with some fun battles and exploration. And the different endings and alternate routes add up on how good the story is. Excited to see the sequel with hopefully the same or even better quality.

PROS:
*Pretty decent art, sound and animations.
*Technical state of the game is solid. Only one minor bug encountered.

CONS:
*There is a story in the game, but its focus is more on the world events, and not really on the characters. There’s just no build-up for the Corruption/NTR element of the story… The girls fall too easy and fast to the villain.
*A bit too much walking in some maps and an unnecessary combat system for some monsters (it’s too easy, so it should not exist to begin with). On a positive note, in some maps you do auto-kill the monsters just by walking, but this should be implemented to all non-boss monsters of the game!
*All girls have giant tits and the same body type. I would prefer more variety. (May be a PRO for people that are really into it...)

Great game, very cute anime drawing, pretty good plot, cute and memorable characters, interesting to watch, at the moment for me one of the best games on the topic of NTR. I wish the author to continue making such wonderful games, and of course to finish this game

Art is win.

Writing is fine. Scenario's old hat, narrative is dull and poorly paced, characterization is weak.

Porn is good with exceptions. Love thiccc MILFs, roll my eyes at how token many other kinks feel. Don't enjoy smegma/stray pubes but at least I didn't have to suffer through toilet porn.

Being entirely linear and full of forced scenes means there's no reason for this to not just be a VN or gallery. There's little to nothing to find by wandering the maps other than samey RPGMaker battles. There's no agency in the who-what-wheres of the porn happening and that lack of agency just makes both the walking and the plot feel like a giant waste of time.

Combat wise, it's RPGMaker basic system.
+ On the plus side you don't have to grind to level up anyone.
+ And there is some AOE spells right from the start

- On the down side, they're all way too fat for my taste, every single one of them
- Scenes are a bit lackluster and would be quite bland without the cheating

So, in the end, it's alright, nothing more, nothing less.
It could climb way higher with spicier H scenes and some ( like 50% at least) slim models.

I was not sure if I should test the game regarding monsters. all games I test that had monsters. always have monsters I think what the fuck is that. the big selling point that made me test the game was that all the women were married.then when I started the game I thought it would be a novel. Rarely do you ever find a game in which you can actually empathize with the antagonist and feel that he's following his pure instinct but still feels bad for the people he wrongs. The art is very beautiful in it's own way, I really dig the simplistic comic artstyle I really think it fits this game alot.

On top of that the maps are made beautifully and I like that there are sections in the game where u have control over what to do before going on with the story, no useless running around in a sandbox with nothing to do but an actual flow of a story. The events are played out in different perspectives so it's neither pure ntr, nor pure netori or corruption but a mixture of all of them which you rarely if ever see in modern games.

Overall this is an easy 5/5 and I urge everyone to play it, the diversity and personality of the cast makes it all the better and the characters are actually memorable.

This can be easily called a classic.
You may develop some prejudgment against RPGM engine after trying many and feeling that RPGM engine is old news when it comes creating an intersting game, not to mention, run kinetic novel in it. This game is a proof, with right skill, RPGM may deliver kinetic novel a way that not only glue your attention to story (excellent narration btw) but gives your immersive expirience and to live in with in-game characters.
Five stars and plus and it fully deserves it.

The story is perfectly fine, the art is amazing, and there is a decent amount of content already with many different girls. There is not really much to dislike about the game, and I can't wait for the full release. Need more dark elf content though.
