RPGM - Completed - Whispers of the Dark Elf [v1.0] [Darthz]

1/5 - Hardly even a game, hardly even H

Gameplay: Extremely linear garbage, empty world, despite having the Sandbox tag. This is basically an RPGM VN which IMO is one of the worst platforms to design your VN in. Skip option (Page Down) doesn't actually fast forward, it's the same as holding left click.

Art: The characters look as though they were drawn by a kid with a giant tit fetish and no clue how to actually execute that in any appealing capacity.

Storyline: Something's happening at some point I'm sure, but it's all too dull to pay attention to.

V1.0-Complete Game Review:

One of the best adult and especially NTR Games out there. An exciting fun Story along such memorable Characters, amazing 2d art and great animations. The dialogue is pretty hot during H scenes yet also funny at story moments, made me laugh couple times, never had such fun reading dialogue in a porngame before. And if you mainly for the NTR and sex part, can tell you, it has a lot of scenes and most of them so well made. The girls may have similar body types but if you into big boobs and butts then the game is surely made for you. And couple of variety if it comes to different kinks. The gameplay is pretty baisc RPG elements with some fun battles and exploration. And the different endings and alternate routes add up on how good the story is. Excited to see the sequel with hopefully the same or even better quality.

PROS:
*Pretty decent art, sound and animations.
*Technical state of the game is solid. Only one minor bug encountered.

CONS:
*There is a story in the game, but its focus is more on the world events, and not really on the characters. There’s just no build-up for the Corruption/NTR element of the story… The girls fall too easy and fast to the villain.
*A bit too much walking in some maps and an unnecessary combat system for some monsters (it’s too easy, so it should not exist to begin with). On a positive note, in some maps you do auto-kill the monsters just by walking, but this should be implemented to all non-boss monsters of the game!
*All girls have giant tits and the same body type. I would prefer more variety. (May be a PRO for people that are really into it...)

Great game, very cute anime drawing, pretty good plot, cute and memorable characters, interesting to watch, at the moment for me one of the best games on the topic of NTR. I wish the author to continue making such wonderful games, and of course to finish this game

Art's good, bonkers proportions and all that, but really didn't stick around all that long...just not my cup of tea

Just feel like a lot of the magic is lost in a corruption game when they're all just turbo sluts at the start of the story no?

Also surely it's possible to use RPGM to make your games without having RPGM combat, it adds nothing to the experience

Art is win.

Writing is fine. Scenario's old hat, narrative is dull and poorly paced, characterization is weak.

Porn is good with exceptions. Love thiccc MILFs, roll my eyes at how token many other kinks feel. Don't enjoy smegma/stray pubes but at least I didn't have to suffer through toilet porn.

Being entirely linear and full of forced scenes means there's no reason for this to not just be a VN or gallery. There's little to nothing to find by wandering the maps other than samey RPGMaker battles. There's no agency in the who-what-wheres of the porn happening and that lack of agency just makes both the walking and the plot feel like a giant waste of time.

TLDR: Dem tiddies nice tho

Combat wise, it's RPGMaker basic system.
+ On the plus side you don't have to grind to level up anyone.
+ And there is some AOE spells right from the start

H wise
+ Collecting married women is on of my fetish ( sue me )
- On the down side, they're all way too fat for my taste, every single one of them
- Scenes are a bit lackluster and would be quite bland without the cheating

So, in the end, it's alright, nothing more, nothing less.
It could climb way higher with spicier H scenes and some ( like 50% at least) slim models.

I was not sure if I should test the game regarding monsters. all games I test that had monsters. always have monsters I think what the fuck is that. the big selling point that made me test the game was that all the women were married.then when I started the game I thought it would be a novel. I dont know why I thought that. so at first thought of shutting down the game completely and not playing it at all to be honest.but decide to test the game. I am so glad I tried the game. otherwise I would have missed the wonderful NTR game. This game turned into a nostalgia trip for me. is probably the best feeling I can give the following game.felt like playing an old school game with elements of sex NTR cant help but give the following game the highest rating.now comes the twist. monsters I was worried about before trying the game.I wanted more of it.the gloryhole scene was a favorite. see how big and how many monster cocks the wives can handle at the same time.then of course I would like to have some kind of mother and daughter scene. further on they dont have to do things with each other. but more of an orgy that they are in the same place.so thanks to the developer for creating this lovely game and thanks to those who took the time to answer my questions. which made me try this game. which I would otherwise have missed!

Rarely do you ever find a game in which you can actually empathize with the antagonist and feel that he's following his pure instinct but still feels bad for the people he wrongs. The art is very beautiful in it's own way, I really dig the simplistic comic artstyle I really think it fits this game alot.

On top of that the maps are made beautifully and I like that there are sections in the game where u have control over what to do before going on with the story, no useless running around in a sandbox with nothing to do but an actual flow of a story. The events are played out in different perspectives so it's neither pure ntr, nor pure netori or corruption but a mixture of all of them which you rarely if ever see in modern games.

Overall this is an easy 5/5 and I urge everyone to play it, the diversity and personality of the cast makes it all the better and the characters are actually memorable.

This can be easily called a classic.
You may develop some prejudgment against RPGM engine after trying many and feeling that RPGM engine is old news when it comes creating an intersting game, not to mention, run kinetic novel in it. This game is a proof, with right skill, RPGM may deliver kinetic novel a way that not only glue your attention to story (excellent narration btw) but gives your immersive expirience and to live in with in-game characters.
Five stars and plus and it fully deserves it.

The story is perfectly fine, the art is amazing, and there is a decent amount of content already with many different girls. There is not really much to dislike about the game, and I can't wait for the full release. Need more dark elf content though.

Really enjoyed this one, NTR isn't really my thing but i like RPGs and especially ones that have decent game play and no Bugs.

Masterpiece and it's just the beginning:

WOTDE is a great NTR with a touch of netori, it has simple gameplay for those who are just looking for an easy fap, it has a good art, with great animations and variety of scenes, the characters are very beautiful with good designs, the story is good and complements the characters' personality.
The work on SFX is another positive point, it improves scenes that are already good.

This is a rather light-hearted NTR game in the same way that "My Girlfriend Advanced to the Dancer Class and She Buffs Everybody" is.
Meaning it is less about drama and feelings of loss, betrayal and despair and more about taken women being willing sluts (although as of current version noone comes even close to Sana in that regard).

Despite following the pov of clueless cucks for the most of the time the story actually focuses more on the "bull" Glavius. I feel that we as players get the most insight about his antics and personality compared to all the other characters, so I guess you could say this game leans somewhat into "netori" direction.
Glavius is a rather conflicted guy, but the ladies seem to enjoy their time with him in the end so I am not complaining.
I found it enjoyable as well.

Gameplaywise the game is very easy, your party is strong from the start and there is no grind or management involved. Just a relaxing story-focused experience where the action only servers as a background for the scenes.

The H-Scenes are well-drawn and neatly animated so yeah.
I will be keeping an eye open for future versions.

If you like big titty elves not being able to resist the temptation of superior human meat, then congratulations you've found a great game.

Don't have to worry about this dev making excuses that they are reworking RPGmaker for the 50th time as an update because they actually make their own art, every update has brought new energy to the story.

It's a simple game. It's one of those games where the MC can't pick up on obvious clues. While I found some of the NTR reasoning to be justified, it happens very quickly. Then there's the general story. For instance, one character is a former member of the MC's party. He's shunned by the kingdom all because he got an injury despite being present all the way to the final battle. I find that very hard to believe. In short, the game isn't written well and battles are a joke because the party is OP. But who cares about that! This is an honest game! It's not trying to tell you some grand story. The dev wanted to make an NTR game with fat elf tits and the madlad did it! This game is all about the art. It throws you a new scene at just the right time to keep you interested. Scenes that are well animated might I mention. Definitely worth following if you want something quick.

I should mention, as of Trial v1.1, I kept getting an error message and then the game would crash. It would consistently happen during a scene. The game features autosaving so it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Edit: Starting v1.2, there is a pov switch that makes the game feel more like a netori. There is also a surprising amount of depth to the character, but it's only for him. Everyone else remains as dumb or as easy as they have.

A short but enjoyable trial with some good art. But this is one of those games where you have to ask, "Why is this a game?" There aren't any choices to make, and canonically your character is a retired hero, so even the generic RPG maker fights are made more boring by being impossible to lose. This design would work better in a VN format.

Seems a very interesting start for a netorare game. I don't think we can expect a deep type B corruption since two out of the three heroines are already cheating totally willingly, but that isn't a negative per se. Might be a bit quick for corruption enjoyers, but it's valid anyway and the art is very nice. Recommended.

good art and fine story thats not too short where you imagine why bother at all and not too long that you feel the need to skip text to get anything substantive. Has simple yet hot animations and the girls personalities are excellent for this NTR adventure. A good natured and kind wife thats distrusting to the antagonist due to his personality, a tomboyish warrior girl and a horny already fallen elf thats just waiting to help these girls find their inner craving for human dick.

The game part in this porn game is simple some basic jrpg stuff pretty good at keeping the scenes far enough away that it doesnt seem like everything is happening lightning fast, but also isnt a slog to get through.

My only criticism is that one of the girls fell too fast it pretty much immediately happens offering no resistance.

overall gameplay: 4 stars its fine nothing interesting but nothing awful either

NTR: 4 stars It has one excellent NTR story going on which thankfully is the main one the others so far are mediocre; if you can forgive the medicore stories than its 5 stars for sure.

story: 5 star not looking for shakespeare personally, for an NTR story it is excellent
