I wonder if people have too much money, still 21 people are paying...

It's just like the people who stop watching Netflix, Hulu, etc, and forget, and don't check their credit card/bank statements. Since they do auto-renew, and you have to manually cancel, that's how they get you, and that is what lots and lots of abandoned games are still getting money as people forget.

Another possibility is that you just discovered the game and wanted to thank the creator a little. I would not stay a member for long, but just saying thank you for 2 months could be considered.
