I felt the need to write a review for Whoremaker after it randomly resurfaced years later. To be honest, it features a very specific trope that interests me: power exchange. I’m particularly drawn to scenarios where you are technically the boss, but your employees dominate and slowly corrupt you. However, I have to be objective. Compared to modern HTML5 games, the visuals are quite dated.
As the name suggests, the theme is running a brothel—it’s a pure management game. That said, there isn’t much actual "management" to speak of. It’s mostly just clicking the "work" button over and over, saving up money for upgrades, and then going back to clicking. The game essentially forces you to sell your own body; otherwise, you simply can't make enough money to progress.
The only real story and character interactions are found in the sub/sissy route. Other slaves you acquire lack meaningful interaction. Aside from the first slave’s femdom/feminization route and one guy’s sissy route, there isn't much interactivity. I believe the game needs more work, specifically more encounters and more engaging gameplay mechanics. For instance, the segments where you sell yourself to female customers don't change based on your character’s level of feminization. Only one character’s behavior toward you changes as you progress, and even then, it’s not a significant shift. The stats feel somewhat meaningless in their current state.
