I still don't understand the supposed connection between the size of the protagonist's penis and the quality of a game here on the site.

Star Periphery has a protagonist with a small penis and is one of the best games on this site, a true masterpiece (insert a Scorsese meme saying "absolute small dick" here) of pornographic narrative.

whereas large penises were seen as primitive and comically grotesque, and thus mostly associated with barbarians (non-Greeks) and animal-human hybrids (e.g. satyrs and centaurs). A spirit > matter thing, basically.
As far as Greek society is concerned, they were in a way inserted in a paradox regarding the positive vs negative view of penis size. See the example of the god Priapus whose cult was associated with fertility rites and also ritualistic practices where virgin girls sat on a giant phallus to get used to the idea of sexual intercourse.

Yes, but Priapus was usually considered hideous. According to at least one myth, Aphrodite, his mother, abandoned him to die by exposure because she was so disgusted by his appearance.

I believe that priapus was part of that group of entities filled with contrasts and contradictory moral/aesthetic characteristics so dear to pagan pantheons.

Just like Dionysus, who was a god who could arouse both attraction (due to his androgynous beauty) and fear/dread (since his cult generally induced people into almost insane states of ecstasy, where many embraced animalistic acts), Priapus also shared these multiple characteristics, which depending on the context, could be considered positive or negative.

I particularly love contrasts, it's a perception within artistic aesthetics that turns me on a lot; That's why small dicks raise a dubious understanding in us: we can consider them a source of shame or small artifacts of nature with their beautiful, pink and cute skin, which makes up the look of a femboy so well.

The crux of the matter is that many people on this forum try to experience a game just as a repetitive power trip where he (the MC in this case) is the protagonist who (in an idealized perspective) is badass, flawless, perfect, fearless, the best of the galaxies... in a word, a fucking Marty Stu

I couldn’t agree more (that’s what the quote in my signature is about, after all). For me, eroticism lives at the threshold where opposites meet: life/death, pleasure/pain, sacred/profane, security/danger, purity/filth, and so on. That tension is the charge.

Shame can be a spice, you just have to get the dose right. That’s something most games that deal with taboo subjects get wrong, IMO; they treat transgression as if it were no big deal. Where's the shock and disgust whenever an incestuous relationship is outed, for instance? The moral outrage? Where is the guilt and shame—ever? Nowhere, because that would ruin the power fantasy.

Personally, I'd be happy with a MC who has an average-sized penis (or even small, if it's written well) and doesn't look like an Adonis, but it's not an issue I care all that much about.

it feels like developers are afraid to make small-dick male MC games.
Why can’t there be fat, ugly, or socially awkward male protagonists with small penises?
why are these stories so rare?
Devs are afraid of small bank accounts, not small penises.
The answer to all questions like this is the same. Devs think no one would buy this, or else you'd have a bunch of them.

Is there actually a community of people ravenously waiting to throw money at the next fat, ugly, socially awkward, small penis game?
If there is, prove it, and you'll you have 10 of them started by tomorrow.
(Or maybe I'm wrong and devs really are afraid. I'm not though, so feel free to have that community throw their piles of money at me, and I'll start one tomorrow :p )

It's always good to talk to a Bataille admirer, and it would be great if more devs at least read Story of the Eye or the essay Erotism - Death and Sensuality before creating the narrative for their erotic works.

The only game here on the forum where I can find echoes of my dear Lord Auch's philosophy is Pale Carnations, but as expected, you already know.

and I would say that if Kathleen is my Mephistopheles, Rosalind is my Virgin Mary.

That game's MC only took it up the ass so does it even count? He doesn't even get to use his penis so even if he doesn't have a penis it wouldn't change anything
