Why do certain games appear as faded cards in the latest updates section?

Is the thread ignored? When you open it, does it show "Unignore thread" in the spot referenced below?
Also, there's a difference between excluded tags and ignored tags. The link you posted in response to Lerd0 has no excluded tags but you'll also want to check your account settings for ignored tags (Your account > ignoring > tags).

Yes, this is it. Thank you, folks, for helping me with this silly question.
you can hide the ignored threads instead if you want
ignoring a tag doesn't seem to affect latest updates at all. games with ignored tags are listed as normal

..tell that to the dudes beggin me to tag everything ntr....so it doesn't show up for them on latest........
i assume they exclude the tag on latest updates. that's different from ignoring a tag
