Why is it so hard to render cum/cumshot in 3D?

I'm still fairly green with adult games so I haven't played a sizable number of the popular games out there, but my experience so far with 3DCG games is most excellent in many regards. Some of them have amazing and photo-realistic renders and details and quite often I am in awe of the quality that is on display.

That's all good until cum/cumshots are involved. I haven't come across a game yet that renders it as well as the rest of the elements in the picture. It's not as bad as tongues and open mouths but cum seems to break the suspension of disbelief more than anything so far in my experience.

Why is that so? Is it the textures that are "not there" yet?

Does it require too much processing power that developers sacrifice the quality of cum in favor of an improved efficiency?

When it is drawn it sometimes looks phenomenal, (looking at you Boobgames ;) ), but in 3D games, it is an entirely different story.

I'd be very interested to know the reason(s) for this from a technical perspective. Any developers/renderers out there who want to chime in?

Most devs don't know how to design/create models from scratch, they just buy the girls and scenes and position them to create each frame.

Since there isn't a "plug and play" solution for cumshots it means devs have to create and design the cum mesh which will be very unique for each scene, since most of them aren't 3Ddesigners in the first place every cumshot will vary depending on their skilllevel and creativity.

And yes, depending on the texture and lightning they use it just won't look realistic, some look straight up like shampoo streaks.

This makes a lot of sense.

What about the other type of 3D games, the ones made in the Honey Select engine? I find that cum looks even worse in those. Is this due to the limitations of the engine, or perhaps something else?

Similar aspects, there are a bunch of "premade" cum meshes and people just apply them to their scene. Some devs can make it look nice enough but it still is far from perfect and very finicky.

I'm pretty sure it would be faster some devs to just render their games without cum and then draw the cum over the scene for more realistic effects, but most don't.

Well you have to simulate physic velocity and angles of fluid)
so too much trouble for each scene as long you make pre rendered game
if game full 3d there is no limitations)

What I did during my brief 1 month stint doing FSM porn way back in the day was I found some cum-splatter pack for Photoshop, and then blended it together with the cum models from the render to make it look more natural. With varying results.

Can Daz3D or Honey Select apply "decals" to characters? Because that seems like it would be the simplest while still looking pretty good. Then mix it with some 3D models for volume/strands, and maybe do a bit of photoshop magic to blend them.
