You can't do anything when you sit. As soon as you stand from sitting the buff goes away and you are left with +1 regen again. Also, hyped buff is gained from sleeping, not sitting.
You actually can gain the hyped buff from sitting. You need to sit for much longer than it takes to recover your HP and stamina to full.

If you sit and rest, after about 20 seconds or so, you should gain the rested buff. After about 45 seconds or so, you should gain the well rested buff. After sitting and resting for about 1 minute or so, you should gain the hyped buff.

You mean that all this time I've been getting up after stamina/hp was full and I could have been getting the same regen buff from sleeping? I've never heard anyone mention this in discord so it may be common knowledge. I guess I'll have to try it out. But the point remains that the dev hates stamina regen. I made a suggestion in discord to change the regen from +1 to +1% which wouldn't really do much, but since you have 100 stamina when you start that is actually 1%. When you gain more stamina thru leveling and use more stamina with tougher monsters that +1 is no longer 1%. If you recall, the rested/well rested/hyped buffs used to be based on percentages and now they are flat numbers. This happened after I suggested the change. Not that it was in direct retaliation against me, but clearly the dev hates stamina regen.

I know well the war the Dev has waged against stamina. I still believe that the dev was/is trying to make the game more challenging, but they seem to have settled on crippling stamina as much as possible to 'create challenge'. It doesn't feel more challenging, just tedious.
The reason why stamina regen will never be a percentage (IMO) is pretty much what you said. A larger stamina pool means that 1% is no longer 1 and would negate a lot of the tweaks and debuffs to stamina regen.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The first time I noticed the rested/well rested buff from sitting, was when the dev had first introduced the hot/scorching debuff, which added -1 or -2 stamina regen. When I was mining brimstone and forgot to remove my steel armor, I would spend stupid amounts of time sitting around and started noticing that I would have a rested or well rested buff randomly appearing. I never thought much about it and never thought to mention it on the forums here.
I don't know if it was a common knowledge thing or not, I stumbled into it on my own but just never thought about it much, mostly because I didn't want to sit around forever just to gain a short buff to stamina regen.

Go options - turn survival mode on - there u will see sated and rested sliders - it is not a bigger challenge.
Above 90 on rested = hyped,
below 50 = reduced total stamina pool
other numbers u can remember for urself

The respawn timers are waaaaaaaaay to short! The enemies respawn almost instantly. Are there even respawn timers? It should be possible to clear an area at least for a day or so.

Is there a possibility to repair weapons? I now have a steel greatsword I am very fond of and which needed so many resources to create but it decays (although relatively slowly) when used. So I hesitate to use it more often which is really a pity with these hordes of almost instantly respawning monsters.

When travelling via waystone to Grayscot? (iirc) Barnabus and Thaddeus are doubled. When saving and reloading they are single entities again. Saving and reloading can also make Solas and Brak visible again.

Repair kits. You can craft repair kits from your inventory or a workbench and they will repair any item to 100% health.
You need wood, bronze nails, and cloth to make a repair kit ...
OR
You can purchase repair kits from Barnabas, in the town of Graycott. I cannot remember how much the cost was, but I don't think it was that expensive.

There was a time where an area would remain clear for quite a while in this game. Sadly, due to changes made in the game, the respawn timer on enemies is fairly short now. Some areas will take a bit longer to respawn, such as around iron ore nodes or in dungeons, but they are not that much longer.

>sex defeat system

If there will be no solid corruption/mind break mechanic - very soon this game turns into a senseless animation mess
Which actually first will hurt the development itself and only then - consumers
Depends heavily upon what route is taken for the survival aspects. I've personally never really liked porn games where having sex leads to hard gameovers, which is the way a lot of corruption or mind break things ultimately end.

Does anyone know how to fix the issue of the cursor not showing at it's actual location? I can't even change the setting properly because the sword cursor is below where it's registering my clicks.

You should be able to press Alt+Enter to go to windowed mode. From there you can change your resolution.
