Identify Wife/GF/Fiancee dies very early in the game - Time travel element?

I can't remember the details but it starts out with a date and you're in a convenience store maybe getting some snacks. I didn't get far in the game but my hard drive died a few months back and am just now restocking.

It didn't have any combat from what I remember. I'm pretty sure it had a 'cheating' tag because you could pursue other people but I think there was a time travel / fate changing element to bring back your wife.

I don't believe so but I didn't beat it before my hard drive died. I remember think the story was pretty good (in comparison to a lot of VNs so the bar isn't very high) so maybe something like that happened in the end?

I'm almost certain it was 2dcg and I know for a fact it started in a convenience store.

yeah, me too. but not everything on itch shows under the tags when searching on there anymore guess they changed something.
the plot of what you describe just sounds awfully familiar to me, only that it was 3d or 3dcg, and most lightly renpy as i prefer that engine(easy scrollback ) have over 160 avn's on steam and think i have played over 300 on here over the past couple of years, and many of them similar stories, so it is not as easy as it should be to remember specific ones.. (have a terrible memory)

It could have been 3D but it was definitely stylized since I avoid all of the "realistic" looking ones. It was a recent VN so renpy is very likely.
