RPGM - Completed - Wife Quest [Final] [STARWORKS]

As expected from STARWORKS, the design is incredible, but well, the rest is pretty meh.

This game has several problems for me, including the following:
- I like that they give a backstory to each person with whom there are sex scenes, even the mobs, but there are too many routes for how short the scenes are. Some scenes are practically nonexistent. Instead of creating so many characters, they should have focused on a few. The blacksmith, Hoz, and the mobs in the orgies, while dedicating time to Charlotte and Adelaide, which is another problem.

- Charlotte and Adelaide are there simply because they exist, and that's it. Adelaide has three scenes: a pose showing her legs, a bland footjob, and a meh sex scene, unless you like being dominated by a woman, which no one criticizes, It's just that many of us didn't come here for that. Charlotte's scenes are just garbage, plain and simple. Seriously, these women could have no scenes at all and it wouldn't matter. Adelaide was perfect for desecrating because she's arrogant, powerful, and tall, but nope, they decided to waste her.

- Don't give you the information in parts, but all at the beginning. and not avoiding being redundant. The waste of Adelaide and Charlotte, the overly short cutscenes, and the intro with too much skippable text are undoubtedly the worst parts of the game.

Now, with that said, is the game a piece of crap? Uhhhhh, nope, I wouldn't say so. I think there will be people who can enjoy it or even be fascinated by it. In fact, I see other people who have given it 5 stars, but for me it's a 2.5. StarWorks' design is always enjoyable, and even though the cutscenes are short, there are several enjoyable ones. And the story, I must admit, as short as it is, isn't bad. I might sound naive, but I wasn't expecting that plot twist; my mind was elsewhere, haha.

So yeah, I'll give it a 2 because you can't give it a 2.5. It doesn't seem like the worst game, but it's not the best either. I got overwhelmed by the text at times, and I was disappointed by some cutscenes, BUT THE WORST PART: the gorgeous Adelaide was COMPLETELY WASTED.

The game and artstyle is interesting, it has a lot of ugly bastards and some very basic RPGMAKER gameplay, the husband goes on a mission to defeat the Demon Lord with a busty/slutty mage, while the Wife (MC) stays behind managing their restaurant/bar, it's a decent premise for a NTR game, unfortunately, the MTL is so bad, it makes the game unplayable.

CGs and the story looks interesting, but MTL ruins it very quickly as the translation is horrible with a lot of missing text as well.
Till about half of the game you are on a single path, that branches out when you can either pay the debt or choose to work for it, which has a lot of different scenes, highly suggest checking both paths. (Also different endings on swap village)
There is a lot of running around and trying to figure out who to talk to next as there is no quest indication, but following any walkthrough makes the game super quick to finish and very easy. Overall it would be an average game, but MTL ruined so badly that it has to be Poor quality game.

Classic netorare game.
The gameplay isn't awesome, but it isn't awful either.
MTL, again it's bad, but you can understand the story.
Art is pretty good, lacks animations and sound.
The story is great for a ntr enjoyer, if you hate ugly bastard don't play this game, there aren't good looking guys on sight.
So as the 3-star rating says, it's average, lacks some things but it's a solid game that did it for me.

This game as an RPG is ok, not good but not that bad either, but the amount of content is pitiful: a few porn scenes and just a few areas to explore with nothing interesting in those areas - you can't get anything out of interacting with NPCs other than a line of text, unless it's a part of a quest, there are no side quests or side content and there is only (if I counted right) 6 not that long quests + endings.
Story is interesting, but i didn't get to experience it because of the garbage MTL, what scraps i've got makes me curious for the rest of it.

Now for the most important part: porn. It's weak, boring and sometimes a bit disgusting, on top of that there is not much of it. There is a single defeat scene, one footjob scene played twice and a few groping/pissing scenes in the main game and that's it for the true ending. Other ending give you more or less 5 boring scenes of which only the final one on each ending is actually interesting.

There is no corruption outside of bad endings.

2 stars because I had fun with battles, but it was only because I actually like this type of gameplay and the balance is weird - half of the game MC is the healer, the other half she is damage dealer, in final battles with game companion the mage was just a healing potion bot.

Everything about this game screams basic bitch RPGM game, it adds nothing interesting, but then again it doesnt make any deep errors, just overall a very average game in every sense of the word.
Yet the worst thing this game has is its translation, this games translation is truly horrid, it is a pain to read and try to understand what the hell am i reading.

DId the artist really needed to make the guys into such ugly bastards? Genuinly the ugliest bastards i have seen in a RPGM, shits a boner killer for me personally. The gameplay also does no justice to this game, just same old RPGM stuff. The whole story of this game, or atleast the concept of it is great, love it, but i would have enjoyed it more if the translation wasnt so scuffed.

It could have been so much more, but oh well.

+ combat is not too hard (even i hate combat in porn games grr)


Cons:
- really bad translation and exhausting to read
- artstyle is okay but could be better (and with less unrealistic hair/eye colours)
- map layout is okay but but its not the best either its a hit and miss but more a miss
- guys should be more detailed drawn during kink scenes
- too many fights
- in dialogue mc's profile pic is.... not good, even she looks inother scenes really nice

I didn't finish the game yet, but it seems quite big and quite exhausting at some points. if the art would be better and more realistic, the sex scenes more detailed and if there would be much combat the game would be a 4 for me. but since its already completed it miles away of deserving a 4. but its not a bad game and not poor either. just not really good and far from great.

Sadly the very good visuals, and the good story is ruined by extremely tedious gameplay. The dungeon crawling takes too long, and could have been cut by a lot - specifically the battles. 5 endings that I know of that have a nice variety of flavours, but some of the "good" endigns require far too many monster battles. Thank god for multiple save files, or you would have to play through the whole game again just to see a different ending.

pretty small game, all over is one village, but its not very easy.

there is only one ending, in game called happy ending with many side ending. you have to think through your choice,

the most i can't take it is once reach the side ending, you have to play from the beginning if you didn't save the game before the option.

WTF is this on F95zone?
This cannot be considered a translated game... even MTL is not that bad.
Do yourselves a favor and find the japanese version of the game.
You won't understand a thing, but the same is true for this "translated" crap!!!

update: after making an MTL mod (that is at least readable) I change the ratting to 5 stars (the vote goes to the game not the MTL).

Love the game from the release date but careful there are places where you cannot win the battle part unless you raise the level appropriately.
It's a multi-end, so you should save often.

No easy forward swing to the erotic scene as it starts with areas puzzling and it progresses only by conversation, and most of the conversation is also filled with sighs, so there are few meaningful words. If don't do it right you don't get the scene.

She's sexy, busty and lot h-scenes filled.

Alreary finish time ago end of the 2019 there's part where you battling boss with a little strong sexiness in her but you can win if you raise the level normally and I don't feel she's hindering eroticism.

Other than the MTL, this is a perfect game for me.

Be warned though, if you are not into "ugly bastards" fucking hot girls, you should give this one a pass.

The story is great, I always liked how it connects to the lore STARWORKS has put in their other games.

The MC is great. Her personality fits the game really well, and she is really hot.

The corruption and NTR is great as well. And since I love the "Ugly bastard" trope, this game is just <3

Only drawback is that it is MTL, but you will get 80-90% of whats going on.
