played v0.7q – html sandbox trainer game with real porn used as images – you play a male mc training other people’s wives. There is quite a bit of content already and the creator keeps adding more. Characters are interesting, dialogue and writing is good and it’s great how every woman gets her own approach. Scenes are rather inventive and varied and there’s a lot of them.
Has loads of different types of bondage, whipping, caning spanking, electricity play, wax play, exhibitionism, domination, hypnosis, cages,… - seriously, if I started listing everything the review would never end. Several of the women can be enslaved or seduced depending on your choices.
The only minus is that once a woman’s storyline is finished she only has repeatable content left. But with so many women I guess it’s unavoidable to stop adding events for them eventually.
Don’t let the use of real life porn turn you off, this is a great bdsm-trainer game.

Ok, so a few caveats to start. I've played a few playthroughs of this game, totalling probably the best part of 100 hours. Nevertheless, I have not fully 100% completed the available content. I have also never played the hypnotist archetype and content, which I think for some in the community for this game would maybe be unthinkable. Just not really my thing.

Secondly, some technicaly commentary. I'm not a huge fan of the engine - this project is a reboot of quite an old game now and it shows. The model required a huge amoung of clicking to grind one's way around the various locations each day, making incremental progress - I often feel that these games would benefit from massively streamlined gameplay. There is also a bit of jank - for me the game often crashes if reloading saves at speed, which is often.

And you will reload saves a lot. The game does not really respect your time - you are often training several women at once, under tight time constraints, and with a serious dearth of a clear guide or any accurate way to track what you are doing. One is compelled to trial-and-error savescum, because otherwise your non-optimal actions result in failed projects and restarting the whole game to try again would result in 1000 hours of gameplay to get the hang of it. Even as it is, you replay weeks again and again, tweaking your actions.

So honestly I think the game is in need of a mechanical redesign and some competent community guides. Perhaps for any future project by invested parties.

One the other hand, I have given the game a good review. Because despite it all I found the premise compelling, the writing satisfactory, the kink arousing and the potential intriguing. I think the game could do with a more ambitious cohesive overarching plot, there could be potential for it. But despite that lack the various clients are well-drawn, interesting and varies, and there is a mass of content exploring the various different options in terms of how to interact with them and what routes you can push them down. Some real variety! Also, a heavy BDSM element that I like.

In particular, I'd praise some of the femdom content - particularly Elsa, though to a lesser extent Lee. The Elsa stuff is brilliant - having coaxed her sexuality out of her and trained her not to be frigid you can lure her away from her husband, but then manipulate her into taking a more dominant sexual approach. Before you know it you no longer call the shots with her, and the relationship is progressing according to her tune... Very inventive!

So overall, I like it a lot. I don't know if the game will every get much more content at this stage, and maybe that's fine. I would certainly be interested in more modern projects inspired by this with some development momentum.

One of the best real porn game, with how it explores the female li and how it tries to reah that devb by variious route, esp the sex scenes are worth it. What I find lwts is down, is its age i.e, the porn stars its uses are not latest work done by porn stars.

Top tier stuff. Left me wanting more.
I don't usually go into 'real porn' type stuff, but this nails the transformation aspect that I really like. The breadth of content is really impressive, though you can get locked out of a lot of it pretty easily. You have to commit pretty hard to a path which might not be intuitive. I think this game is best played with one or both of the cheat mods, and some of the fan mod content is pretty impressive. I want more!

Tiresome to play and very hard to have fun game

This game is truly a masterpice. The game is easy to understand but has a nice depth in decision making. The images are generaly well chosen but sometimes feel a bit generic. The writing is the part where the game shines the most. The characters are beliveable have a nice amount of diversity and all in all the story is very good altough a bit generic.

Please add more to this game content wise probably one of the best games on the site yet. No game comes close trainer wise and if decent work can be put into constant updates at a set pace willing to pay $

One of the best games in its genre. Lots of scenes, interesting interactions. Of the cons, I can say that sometimes it is difficult to understand what is needed to open new events. Well, restrictions can sometimes be annoying. But I'm willing to forgive it, given the replayability. It's a pity that few people took advantage of the opportunity to make mods. There could potentially be a huge number of variable characters.

Saying that this is a Diamond in the rough wouldn't do it it justice!

It's the best real porn game you can find by a long shot. But i'm not giving you a wall of text to read on how good it is, you should really dive in yourself. So instead, let me drop you the good ol' "Good vs. Bad" list.

The Goods:
* 10 Main Characters (The Wifes you work on). All with their own backstory and almost all are really well fleshed out and interesting. Some characters are stubborn as a mule (but not grindy), some are sweet as sugar, some can wrap you around their finger and some can even pull your heartstrings. And all have content available after the "job" is finished and can even become girlfriends or something different. But you have to see for yourself.

* 25 Minor characters (Random NPCs in the world). Some of them have quite a bit of content available, some are just fillers. But you'll get noticed if a certain character has no content available, so that you don't waste your time. Don't get me wrong here, the characters that have content available aren't just boring repetitive hookups. Some of them have quite a bit more to them even if it doesn't seem so at first. Don't miss out on Sam.

* Exceptional AND consistent Model Selection. From fit to voluptuous, from blond to redhead, from young to old. I mean Dani Daniels, Casey Calvert, Skin Diamond (although only minor char) and Ash Hollywood alone make it worth the play. And all scenes have the proper character displayed and not some random image.

* Pretty much no grind. And that little grind there is offers a variety of content so that it doesn't feel grindy or repetitive.

* Solid Storylines. As mentioned above all main characters and some side characters have their own storylines and everything is written in solid adult focused english. No childish bullshit. The "Intelligent porn" line in the banner can be taken seriously.

* High replayability. Every main character and even minor character has different outcomes. You can follow the requested training or completely deviate from it, although the latter can shut you out of post-training content. There are 3 or 4 different game starts or personality types you can choose from and all lock or unlock different minor characters that you can dive deeper in (if you excuse the pun). Main characters always remain available but some become easier or harder to work with depending your personality type.

* Modable. You can add/write your own characters if you like. There is a well documented example available in the game root.

* Pretty much "bug free". In countless hours i haven't encountered a single bug and no inconsitencies in storylines.


The Bads:
* Some Minor Characters aren't developed, yet.

* The Interface looks a bit dated. But it serves it's purpose well, although sometimes there are areas where you have to do unnecessary extra clicks. As an example the coffee shop, you'll know what i mean.

* Some Images used have heavy compression artifacts. But there was a notification that these will be reworked in the future.

* A bit heavy BDSM tendencies. This is just for my taste but if you like it you'll find plenty content to enjoy.


=====NTR Note=====
I'll drop that here for the folks of you who are allergic to it. There is content that could be considered NTR/Cuckolding by some folks BUT this is totally in your hands. Meaning you have to initiate it through dialog choices and if you don't like it you have other options to choose. I haven't encountered anything that was meant as a humiliation to the player, it's technically more often than not the other way around. But i haven't seen everything yet. I personally don't mind that sort of stuff but if you do, you've been warned.

All in all, this is an exceptional well crafted game with a bit dated UI but that doesn't reduce the fun.

There are few Ren'Py games that I like with static images and no videos or animation. The authors do a great job with the writing and images so that animations and videos aren't required (very rare).

The game is interesting and really pulled me in. It is one of the best trainer type games on this site!

The overall game experience is excellent, however not without reservations.

Cons and Complaints

• Very slow update cycle with small updates. It is obviously a hobby project, however more time needs to be devoted to the project.
• Some paths still aren't fully developed or developed much at all such as the Pet Store clerk and Clothing store clerk. There is a lot of available content, especially for the Clothing Store clerk (Victoria Rae Black) that could be added to the game. Yes, you can fuck her through hypnosis and sort of date her but so much more could be done here. There still isn't any content for the Pet Store Clerk after several years.
• If you want to play the game without using a walkthrough (which I greatly prefer) then you essentially have to use cheats to train a good portion of the women you are hired to train. You have to do everything near perfectly in order to fully train the girl in order to get a positive review and increase your reputation without resorting to cheats. There is little time for doing this wrong. The game is very inflexible in this way. Yes, you have lots of freedom, but not much freedom to do things less than perfectly (without using a walkthrough or cheats).
• To go along with the above point, there are two major factors that really slow down your wife training - energy and only training them once per week (and you can choose one girl to train on the weekend). The energy mechanics are extremely annoying and you have to constantly take rest days in order to build your energy back up. Sleeping at night should be enough to restore energy. Slowing the training down to once per week, why??? Daily training would seem to be much more effective.
• Very few hints are given out (or breadcrumbs) to indicate how different girls can be trained (dom, bi-sexual, lesbian, pet, doll, bimbo, girlfriend, etc.). You can miss out on so many different options just by playing the game normally. A lot more breadcrumbs are needed to help players with what options are available for what girls and how to get there. Even with the spreadsheet that lists all the options for all the girls, I still scratch my head on how to get many of those paths started. Very little guidance or hints are given to the player for many of these paths.

Summary

Overall, an excellent game with reservations. The game is barely kept alive with small infrequent updates. The player needs to be given more information and hints on the possible paths for all the girls. I didn't want to use a walkthrough (any game that requires one is deeply flawed) so I had to resort to cheats in order to finish training half of the girls before the time ran out and the client was displeased. Don't expect any handholding in this game. You have to figure things out on your own (not necessarily a bad thing or deal breaker).

I recommend this game and encourage others to give it a try!

It's a good game, and it seems to have been around longer than I have but I find the game not intuative enough to really enjoy completely in the same manner as I do so many others.

It's fun to play, the premise is fascinating but all too often I'm left wondering what each option available to me actually does. It's not helped by the fact that for each "case" there is a time factor in play so if you don't finish it by a certain time then it's gone.

There's a guide but even the thread admits it's outdated so I'm unsure how much use it is fully, especially since it seems to chain events together in order to complete everything.

The premise is good but whilst playing it I'm left wondering if I'm actually making progress. Perhaps the UI could be upgraded to show better progress. As I mentioned it is an older game so perhaps that doesn't help it. I dunno. All in all it has all the right components for a great game but all too often I play a new release, get frustrated at the lack of any real progress and delete it again.

After about 16 hours of playing I just have to praise the game here!

Actually I don't like games with static images only, but this is different here. For this alone I must make the dev a big compliment.

Story there is actually not much. You start as a pseudo therapist who is supposed to help husbands to "change" their wives in their sense.
There are some tools that make it easier to achieve your goal. For this, as always, you have to earn money to be able to buy these things. Money is earned by treating women or investing in the bank or prostituting women (which can also be ignored).

For each client there is a time limit that must be met (with cheats you can extend this to have more fun).

The pictures are well chosen!
The story of each client is well written!
The handling in the game in general takes some getting used to but you get used to it quickly. There are some points that could be improved, because it is quite annoying.

For some characters I would wish that their possibilities are better described. For example: How far can I go, what routes are there and how do I reach them?
Because the problem is that once you have taken a route (but you don't know exactly which one it is) you don't notice the consequences until a few weeks later. But by then a lot has happened and reloading the game to change something is exhausting.

My resume after 16 hours?
Really very good game with a lot of content. The text under the pictures is so well written that I'm happy to do without videos. Some small bugs are still present, but I think they are already working on them.
In any case, a 5 star rating from me, for sure!

I'm mostly just going to echo what the last review I just read said.

This game is fantastic. Choices matter, and matter not only to your relationship with an individual but to how your relationships with others progress. They matter for what characters you might meet, how they might respond to you, and even go as far as to how those characters might interact.

Even your opening choice of hypnotist, natural dom, or playboy, will change how characters perceive you. It will change what scenes you see. Sometimes it can feel frustrating to be locked out of all the content on a single playthrough but, done properly, as in Wife Trainer Files, what you get is a different experience of the game and its world.

Not everyone wants a hypnotist. Not everyone wants a dom. But as you progress through each storyline you get to see new things. You don't simply unlock everything through a single playthrough because some progress is mutually exclusive by its nature.

Whatever line you go down, if you're into corruption and manipulation then this is a stand out game.

The story is pretty great for a sandbox, with awesome customization and mod friendliness. This is easily one of my top 5 games from this site. Multiple endings for each client, and even for characters who are not part of the main cast of clients. I really hope to see more mods or content updates for this game soon.

Played for many years, consistently high quality releases and great content. I wish it was released a bit more often, but I'm never upset with what we get. WT is an excellent dev and I hope they have enough drive to make more games after this

Psychologically realistic trainer game with characters that feel real, difficult but rewarding gameplay, and the hottest scenes I've seen in any game, anywhere. I've been following this one for a long time and WifeTrainer deserves major kudos for this work (as does everyone else involved).

So this game is a very interesting specimen I think. Apparently it's an originally RAGS game, which is an engine for adventure games. I haven't played many RAGS games yet from the ones I did and from the other engines used for AIF like QSP or Adrift I know very well that most of these games aren't for everyone. As if the text based presentation isn't enough to make people run away they can have elaborate simulation mechanics, cryptic ways to find content and extreme sexual content.

Well what makes Wife Trainer unique is, well it's ported to Renpy so the presentation is much better. Even though the game is pretty vanilla in AIF standards it is fairly over there compared to other erotic games, both in terms of mechanics and content. So as a result I think it's a very easy recommendation for players who want to broad their horizons. It has some simulation mechanics and some of the girls can be hard nuts to crack yet it's not as impenetrable without messing with script files as some other AIF games, it has some very heavy sexual content yet it you don't get killed or tortured every five minutes and finally you don't have to spend to like 200 hours IRL to count yourself that you've finished the game. It's at a nice sweet spot, so I don't have a problem recommending this game to most people okay with the content.

Writing: It's okay. It won't make you cry or something but it's good at creating the sense the progress. Most girls have branches in their character development so that's a plus for replayability. Some characters are certainly more fun than the others though.Also Alexis' route was kind of cringe even though I liked the oirginal SelectaCorp games for what they were.
Graphics: If you don't mind real life porn in games I believe this is as good as it's going to get. The dev(s) found good images that complement the scenes well and change depending on the character status. One problem I can think of is that some images have condoms in them although the scenes don't and that's kind of annoying.
Music: lol
Sex content: It has a lot of stuff with good porn images. As for offensive content, well it has cheating stuff but that's the point of the game, so whatever. Not enjoying exhibitionism could also make this game a very painful experience since it has a lot of that. Other than those there are some optional extreme content here and there but you won't see them unless you want to.

Score: 4,5 rounded up to 5, fewer "The content for this girl is being developed " notes and more sounds could make it a well deserved 5 easily.

It's THE best porn game. The writing is sooo good, the amount of choices and various paths offered is just unmatched. It's a really hard game- took me multiple playthroughs to complete all the wives but even after that there was so much more content to discover.
