Ren'Py - Wifey's Dilemma Revisited [v0.82] [3Diddly Games]

Some thoughts:

- The story is "decent", I decided to enable NTR and disable SHARING to see how the MC reacts to being cheated on, and it was laughable xD, I mean... I understand that the MC has to be stupid for the sake of the story, but not THIS stupid... man ...come on He kisses her even when he knows she just swallowed other dude's cum WTF xD (remember my settings, supposedly he doesn't like Sharing).

- I'm not gonna lie ... the whole situation about the wife getting corrupted little by little was quite hot (from the beginning to the middle of the game), but for me, from the very first moment she became a Slut, I kind of lost interest. In fact, I hope the game ends soon because I think this whole thing about gangs and cults is bullshit and should not be the main focus.

- The UI could be better. It's annoying at the beginning but you get used to it fairly quickly.

- It seems like It’s worth replaying.

- Renders are great, but there are no animations.

- The sounds are fine, but to be even better It needs a few moaning sounds during sex scenes in my opinion.

Overall, even if the game doesn't have the best story ever It is indeed great in terms of Sharing/NTR Content. So I'd give it an 8/10 (A must for Sharing lovers).

Sharing fans won't want to miss this game.

Plenty of player agency and variability between playthroughs (NTR/NTS/True Love with different flavor scenes and careers for Mei). There are a ton of different fetishes Mei can acquire throughout the story, adding new things to do on replays, but it can sometimes be frustrating to get locked out of paths not knowing what to do. Adding a cheat/dev menu of some sort might help with that.

Mei is a certified gem, one of the best sharing game love interests out there!

I tried to play this game.

The description seemed to hint at e very pleasant gaming experience.
The graphics are not bad, as far as I´ve seen.
Game mechanics are more complicated than necessary, but I could get used to it, if the game is interesting enough.

Writing isn´t unpleasant, could use some proofreading, though.

BUT:
The UI is just annoying!
It prevents you from keeping track of where, when you are (counting in WEEKS and giving you 3 actions/week).

I do know, really, that a game like this needs (in game) time to develop, but when you spend more time on the (very boring) "homescreen" with the same choices than actually in developing the route you chose, it gets boring real quick.
But looking at the same screen over and over again isn´t helping to motivate you to stay put.

I spend 3 weeks (in game) with most days passing by uneventfully, glueing you to that above mentioned boring homescreen.
This game feels like one of these boring html games with more text and menues than content.

I´m not living on governement handouts, that´s why I quit playing this (at least in the beginning) excrutiating boring game.

I don´t know if it gets better during playing.
But I do know that the start is like taking a medical dose of ketamine: It puts you out, quick.

Roast me as much as you like, but i´ll pass this one.

With a better UI, I´ll definitely give it another try.

Much more ambitious than the two previous Atonia games from this dev, this double-stuffed game suffers from the greatly expanded scope of player actions and calendar progression. What was previously a linear VN is now distributed across staggered vignettes, and you have to check several sandbox activities to trigger them before advancing time. It's especially chaotic in the beginning before the game has sorted you onto one of the tracks, then it settles down & dripfeeds you H-scenes.

The nested renpy menus are annoying to navigate, and you have to do it for everything except choosing in a scene. Some "weeks" that you advance, you have only one valid activity, but it's clicks deep into the menus. why is this a sandbox man

In the very beginning, the game asks the player for the ground rules about how hard the NTR/NTS will be, and that's where you should decide for yourself how you want it to play out. The stats/trait system for accessing scenes didn't do it for me. If you're going to be railroaded towards a given outcome anyway (as was the devs intent) then just do it, and dispense with RPG mechanics.

Not much to say about the renders, it's a refined version of the same stuff the dev's done before. I think the sample images give a good indication what you can expect.

The story is by-the-numbers, but executed well. The non-NTR content isn't particularly interesting. I kind of wish that instead of one sprawling game, the dev had split this up for 2 shorter and more-focused VNs for each antagonist (gosh what does that remind me of)

So it's vignette scenes chosen by branching stat checks, accessed from a fiddly menu every time interval. if i could hold down skip, and speed past all the "time passing" "another day at work" and just get to the next scene, that would be an improvement!

Social media updates were a good idea but they're annoying to remember to check. maybe move it off the main menu and instead accessed as an icon underneath the love/rival stats so the player can view it anytime.

It is a really good game. The story is decent, the main girl is good looking and the animations are nice. I like the stats system, the more you use one stat the more you're improving the popularity of choices and the achievements system. I've played it multiple times and still have not unlocked everything. Looking forward for future releases!

Enjoyable experience, but it seems to suffer from balance problems that hinders the experience.

What I mean by this is, yes your choices matter, but unfortunately there are times it seems the dev did not actually playtest the game to check for means of certain outcomes being possible.

I think the more common issue someone could run into is that you may find yourself lacking stats for...well, everything! The stat requirements are very particular, so much so that without meta knowledge, it's easy to miss a vital option that will lead to a bunch of other future options being "locked off" by stat requirements. And some stat requirements seem downright impossible.

I would advise people to honestly set the game up for the playstyle you want: like sharing? Turn it on. Like NTR? Turn it on AND NOT sharing, and say yes to the hardcore option, which will basically railroad you towards that content. Don't like either? Turn both off.

This is basically how you get the game to railroad you towards the content you want...and I think that says everything: the stats are so poorly balanced that any feature taking away your freedom of choice and turning this into a railroaded experience is seen as an improvement.

And yes, some paths or trait combinations feel impossible. I did one playthrough where it practically rained down trait unlocks for her til she had everything, but I lacked the stat requirements to actually use most of them, then another railroaded playthrough was feeding me exactly what I needed for content...and somehow this meant she wasn't picking up any traits, meaning now she had stat requirements but NOT the traits required for some scenes.

If there's a cheat option, take it, because I promise you there will be some choice combinations that simply aren't doable without cheats.

For the dev, good game with good writing and branching paths, but a good percent of your paths currently aren't even being utilized because it's impossible to reach them organically. Sitting down to balance the game and create more opportunities is basically a shortcut to "adding more content" at this point.

I think the only thing missing that better games have is animations, but not that big of deal.

The story and paths are well crafted, you can follow the story you want.
I recommend playing them all, unless you absolutely abhor NTR, then maybe skip this one...lol Because even though there's a "faithful" route, you'll need to play the other routes to unlock all of the gallery/scenes.

Honestly, pretty damn good. To get this out of the way immediately, I hate NTR and cuck shit so I turned it all off, so this review doesn't touch on any of that stuff. That being said, it does remove a lot of content from the game, which also transitions me into my main critique. Time seems to jump around all over the place which makes me think that since these scenes are turned off that's what causes it. You can go from talking to Mei one week and then the next week it's suddenly halloween. This somehow happening even though two weeks ago it was valentines day? What's going on? The time skips are enormous. Also, some events seemingly come out of no wheres. At first you're just building up a relationship with your wife and then BAM, suddenly you get invited to a super secret sex cult? What happened?

Aside from the time jumps, the content is really quite good and the ability to "build" your wife the way you want with "traits" and allowing certain activities is really cool and unique. I don't think i've seen another game do that. You do need stats to be able to do some of this stuff, and that can be another problem because if you pick the office route, there doesn't seem to be a way to level up your physique skill, and some choices require that. If you pick the office route though it does give you +10 to all stats so I haven't really run into a roadblock yet. Also, some content does seem to be locked to the other "path" that you choose for your wife (not the cuck stuff). The writing is also ok, though it way over uses phrases like haha or hehe. You also don't get much choice in how the story unfolds, you just kinda influence what happens during the story unfolding. The game can barely be considered a sandbox, considering you only really make a few choices in that regard.

Graphically, the game does look a bit dated by about 4-5 years. The girls and the game still looks good, just a bit dated. I'm not sure what else to say, the games good, you have a lot of choice in how you build your relationships, and the game looks a bit dated but still good. The biggest flaws are the massive time skips, and how some content is locked depending on the route you take, but it doesn't really clarify what will be locked. I think maybe some clarity in how your choices will affect other stuff might be good. Other than that, I recommend you try it, it's good.

I didn't do any research on this game before starting, all I knew was that there was some NTR, and I can already say that I'm quite surprised at how flexible this is in the game.

The player can really shape the girl the way he wants, she can really be his body and soul, they'll hit on her, after all, it's an NTR game, but she won't give in, or the player can encourage the NTR and she can really be a whore, even dating another guy officially while she's still married to the MC, getting with the friend of her supposed "boyfriend" (not the MC), and with another girl, but for that the player needs to influence with the right choices, so that the "wife" gains personality traits, so here's my advice for anyone who's thinking about trying this game, be careful not to accept more than you can handle, because almost everything happens here, like some of her personality traits involve her being attracted to murderous and violent gang guys, she'll only climax with people who kill, or have drugged traits, or lesbians, or exhibitionists, and so on, if you want her all to yourself, I suggest you don't be nice to anyone , and go the antagonist route and always maintain points with the wife for obvious reasons, after all, she can also lie.

but it's all very predictable, nothing happens without the player actually choosing it, and speaking of predictable, out of 10 I would give the story a score of 2... typical of gangs and mafia and strip clubs... anyone who has played GTA knows, but in a generic and shallow way.

I don't think there is much content for the number of times the game is updated either, I think the updates are small since they are in a short time, and I managed to complete the content in just one playthrough in a short time. and trying out several routes to see if it really changed anything and as I said above, it really does change.

The wife is very beautiful, the rest of the characters in the game are not, the wife's facial expression and the render and her details are perfect, the other characters' are not, even the other girls'
There is a scene of the wife in the club being caught by another guy where the render of the image leaves the wife's face very blurred.. I don't know if it is intentional or not..
And there are also no animations in the game, no animated images, what really gets you excited is the situation of the scene.

I would say it's a good game that I will follow, but not for those looking for a deep story or a complex relationship with a character.

note: it's one of the few games in which pregnancy was implemented right at the beginning, I don't know how the developer is going to do with this, I'm in the "your wife might be pregnant" state, even more so with a story involving "gangs and mafia", but I like the pregnancy theme.

Oh at first I thought this game is completed but well it isn't. Good work developer(s) keep on the good work.

Overall it is enjoyable gameplay but little bit confuse at first, after few runs I got the basic.

A good game, good plot and development, variety for all tastes, beautiful heroine, if there were more animation scenes or short clips it would be great, a game I can play again many times but still excited.

Wifey's Dilema is an AVN that involves a couple that explores their relationship with themselves or with others (sharing and NTR).

To start there is a plethora of great NTR and sharing content through different routes. You have two routes (bartender and corporate) with two alternative routes (PCD (increase in all traits) and hacking (snooping on your wife with cameras)) within those routes that compromise a great variety of content. I do like the rival and relationship that keeps track of what the wife likes and can do between the husband and rivals. It adds increasing spice and interest in each adding engagement. The renders are average to good, nothing too spectacular. The variety of traits that you can select for the wife is nice and promotes multiple playthroughs to get all the scenes.

Some of the things I didn't like is the general dialogue, it does feel clunky and lifeless at times. It can feel quite robotic and feels like it's just scenes. The AVN fails to build the relationship between the couple through its weirdly pacing. There's no build-up or suspense when it comes to the NTR that fails to land those intimate and lustful impacts. The overall system of how the game operates through weeks, social media, girls and influencers also bore down the game into a more managemental AVN (which it definitely does not feel like a good management AVN) that could of easily just been turned into a kinetic AVN.

I felt like this game had so much potential, it's not a bad game. For me, it was quite an average NTR game. I still think this game is still definitely a shout for NTR lovers, but I wouldn't put lots of hours into finding all the scenes as it really isn't worth it. If you like a blend of netorase,sharing and NTR routes all in one game, this game might tickle your fancy for a couple of short playthroughs.

This is a pretty decent game. Most of the scenes involve NTR or sharing so that's kind of inevitable. Scenes are good though, although, outside of that it feels kind of bland. There's no real story and/or decisions to make. This game is fairly linear and you basically choose what you want your wife to do. Really just felt like I was watching sex scenes back to back without any substance. Not a terrible thing (some games on this site have the opposite problem) but I think that makes it ineligible to receive 5 stars in my eyes. Also nice that the main LI isn't white, although, unfortunately this game does play into racial stereotypes to an extent.

and about wifey, I'm a little interested if she becomes a celebrity and makes money by being a porn star or selling onlyfans, maybe get more tattoos and piercings if she follows jamal, wifey get breast expansion to serve jamal/ mr.david's purposes And finally, I don't have much criticism about the game because this is always one of the top 3 renpy games that I love. But if we only focus on wifey's corruption, the game won't last long, so I hope there are more plots in the game.

Good systems. I love the trait system and the new social media system also adds to the game IMO. This game is obviously more about the sexual content than the gameplay, but good gameplay is always appreciated.

Cons- Unrealistic dialogue. It isn't as bad as most adult games, but clearly the dialogue could use some work.

In at least one route Mei's body proportions change dramatically without explanation to the point that she looks like some incredibly poorly drawn hentai. Quite frankly this ruined the rest of the route for me and I've completely lost interest.

Some of the scenes were really hot and the angles and shots are good. Mei used to look super cute and it really added to the appeal. I am not sure what this weird thing is where some devs cause women's proportions to inexplicably alter after having sex with black guys. None of the women I know who have been with black guys had their asses and boobs magically balloon to goofy-looking proportions.

Love the game play so far! The paths are good! My personal fave is the club path. Looking forward to seeing more scenes in the insta app and also more changes in her looks as she gets corrupted. I love the sneak ability, but would love a better explanation on what skills will be leveled next to choices or an option to view like a tool tip. For example, what relationship type you have from choosing friend with benefits vs. Just a regular sneak, or what type of traits you'll gain from choices.

It's not a bad game, for be honest the story is pretty okay for a porn game.
It's mainly a NTR/sharing game so if you re not into it, don t play this game.

It's good porn story if you have time to spare into this game, but not good gameplay mecanic.
The gameplay mecanics a mainly the choice made* , the problem is, for unlock scene, you frequently need trait you find if you do something specific.

In consequence, a good part of content are locks for arbitrary reason and if you want unlock it, you have to restart game until you understand how unlock.

Wifey's Dilemma Revisisted is a clunky VN pretending to be a time management game about a cute Asian girl and her husband of convenience.

While I don't hate the story, the presentation and gameplay is just barely shy of reprehensible. The game presents itself as a time management game where you can go to work or hang out with the wife. In reality, going to work basically never does anything so you try to hang out with the wife and if you can't, skip the week. This is not a time management game. It's a VN with more clicks. There's a couple of options in a menu between "actions" but they're basically never utilized or updated. It's a pretty worthless system, but not a complete dealbreaker.

The story is there, but basically a sideshow to the sex scenes. Essentially, wifey needs a job while she lives in hubby's house and works as a bartender or a corporate secretary (who's also a model maybe? It's a little nebulous). Depending on your decisions, she ends up on one path or the other. There's also NTR with her respective bosses, but it's easily avoidable if you aren't a raging asshole or actively searching it out.

Speaking of NTR, this game has some of the most awkward Netorase content I've ever read. If you maintain a good relationship with the wife, the wife will never cheat on but you can still share her with your sex rivals. However, you have to command her to do so and there's an underlying "if you insist" as she accepts. It's pretty fucked up and well...

I'm sensing a real theme with 3Diddly's games. In each game, the girls are just toys. I mean it is a vidya game, but hear me out. The girls are always just sitting there to be acted upon, never to be their own actual characters. They're low in personality, have little in the way of goals, and generally don't do anything relevant the player doesn't tell them to do. Frankly, there's just no attempt to make them remotely human, and that makes them uninteresting.

Overall, I can only recommend Wifey's Dilemma if the art really speaks to you. The sex scenes are tolerable, but generally not worth chewing through the story or manipulating the game's stats to unlock them.
