This game is pretty much a fucking scam

There are barely any reclaiming qualities and this game has been out for a while.

The game has the graphics of a Roblox game a 15yo can make which wouldn't be a big of a problem if the game wasn't made on Unreal Engine and not advertised for it's graphics.

Story is very bland and boring, human characters look very ugly in my opinion (Furry ones look decent)

Game is a buggy fucking mess keeps crashing on sandbox mode or when i try to modify my character. And Story mode is ass and there is no reason to play it lmao.

One of the things that i don't understand is how can a unfinished mess of a game like this can take 25+ Gigabytes of space. Like holy shit this game takes as much space as an complete Triple A game while having bare minimum of content.

Basically a marketing stunt and possibly a scam. I have got the game for free and i want a refund. Really doesn't worth the space this game is going to take or the bandwidth you'll be using to download the game.

Still complete garbage, no game just scenes and a sandbox creator. How many millions has this game made oh boy. I would have giving it a one star but at least the sex scenes are decent this still has a long way to go....

This simply isn't a game. It's an animation viewer with lofty ambitions and dubious promises. There is absolutely no reason to believe that it will ever achieve anything resembling what it aims/claims to be.

You cannot even call it the Star Citizen of WEGs because Star Citizen actually has something resembling its vision of gameplay, unfinished and buggy though it may be.

We live in a mad universe... indescribably vast... full of wonders... and terrors. And amidst all the chaos, sometimes things even turn out.. sexy! Play as one of many possible characters, female, male*, or creature* and fight and fuck your way through a wild experience. Our story plays on a small and rather unknown planet called K’apal. Only few civilized humans have ever ventured here, some miners guilds to claim the precious rare minerals that can be found here, scientists studying the natives and the flora and fauna. And also raiders and poachers trying to make a fortune selling rare creatures to rich and eccentric collectors and off-world beast arenas.

6 years.

Let that sink in.
The 'game' has been in development fo 6 years.

And all it has to offer is the sandbox mode where you make your own scenes, and for what I understand it's the only part of the 'game' that is being worked on.

I played the Steam demo and was impressed with the graphics and animation. And most importantly, an actual game with an actual story and actual gameplay AND regular adult content, F* yes!

Then I downloaded the patreon version thinking it would be better considering it's the only version that is kept updated, and...

WTF is this?!

Bland graphics, no environment, no voices, no animations, I feel like I'm playing a PS2 demo. Sorry, even PS1 games had animated water.

I came to the forum asking if the actual Patreon version has less content than the Steam demo. People answered me it was the most "up-to-date" version.

But now, reading the reviews, there is no game, just the sandbox mode.

After 6 years. 6 years!!!!!

When a game that makes so much money out of monthly subscription and rely so heavily on community contribution, it's unacceptable the actual part of the game gets so little work done.

But that's a Patreon game for you, once the game is done, money stops coming in. So there is no reason to work on the actual game at all.

Animations are second to none + Sandbox.

Most fun is the editor where you can build your own settings + scenes.

Although the game is still not finished and the editor is kind of clunky. it's still one of the best adult games I've seen so far.

Basically a glorified scene-viewer at the moment, but a very good one at that. A lot of well-done animations, an easy-to-use camera and a decent amount of customization. When this game actually starts to have a story, it will probably have the potential to be one of the best games on this site. Not to mention that the number of animations available will be absolutely stunning if it continues at the current rate (about 35 individual animations per update).

Amount of updates for animation scenes certainly is not enough. Development is not transparent or adequate : they are creating lots of different levels and then just leaping to the new ones. Characters are not unique or special now. It's just remodelling old ones. UE4 and UE5 has different tricks for game optimisation and levels for a better and smooth work. But they're still trying to make a better game + regular updates.

The main game isn't the current selling point, it's the sandbox. They spent a long time preparing for the main story while working mostly on the sandbox, and it shows. Currently the sandbox has near limitless customization and an enormous amount of handcrafted sex animations, characters and clothing.

Since the beginning of 2023 they have shifted their focus to really work on the story, and it has really picked up speed. They release a public changelog on the patreon every friday where they detail all work they've done in each of the game's different areas. And if that isn't enough they are very active and super transparent on their discord. I couldn't give the devs a higher praise than the ones working on Wild Life.
If you're here for a good game, put in on your watchlist and wait some time. If you like being creative or just want to watch some excellent porn, now is a good time as any to jump in.

The actual game part is almost not there yet. However, the sandbox sex portion is well done and has good character customization. The amount of different sex positions is massive although between each character there are some overlaping animations.

This isn't really a game, more of the framework of what's going to be a game... and still I'm giving it 5 stars.

These scenes are as insane as they are sexy. Stuff I never knew I wanted to see are in this game and stuff I've only thought about but never even heard of are here. They manage to make these characters with no story or anything to them yet SCREAM sexiness with their expressions, with little nuzzles and licks and even 'love bites.'

Crazy indulgent I'm looking forward to see implemented in an actual game in the future. I really hope this avoids that sexy farming game, Dark Nephilim or whatever, that ended up being a bit boring when all was said and done.

This game stands out as a high-quality product within the adult gaming market. It almost reaches the level of AAA quality, offering a visually stunning experience. I highly recommend it for those seeking an aesthetically pleasing and engaging adult game.

Now i see the story is being worked and at a good paced (even while they continue to put out their regular bug fixes and new animations. Even faster than most games here on F95 so this is EVEN BETTER). I'm giving this 5 stars simply because of the sex mini game animation combined with the amount of animation (especially in the sex mini games) combined with the graphics. The story is a bonus at this point and it's coming along. Once you have a good computer and understand how to use lighting and depth of field to create that truly cinematic look, it takes this game to a whole different level and makes this the best in the business.

Personally i run the reshade app to get a custom DOF, film grain and a letterbox border. I run wildlife on 4k on almost all highest possible graphic settings at about 30-40 fps and it looks like an animated move you would go to the theatres to watch (minus the porn aspect lol)

Devs, in the future if you think the "game" part of this is not going to happen, then focus on making this the best animation viewer with the sex MINI GAMES, sandbox editor, the ability to make custom animations, and also optimizing the game so others can get into it.

some of the best animations i had ever seen- Three years ago...
in 2023 tech and engines are slowly evolving, and Wild life has been in a mess of development for what feels like YEARS, with little to no Chunk of decent progress being made to have it resemble an actual game.

i played this over 3 years ago, and played it recently. the optimisation is horrendously bad, so is the bugs. the progress has come a SMIDGE since a few years back, but its still esentially a pose simulator, meaning heres characters, spawn em in, test the animations. sure you have a proof of demo concept of the narrative theyre writing, but the progress is so horribly slow, that the tech is gonna evolve before the content of this game does. which means theyre gonna switch engines, and start again.

development is all over the place. it is. this has been in development for the longest of time, and yet the content and features really havent reflected that, nor has the optimisation itself either. i run on an i5 8600k 32gb ddr4 ram and an rtx 4060, so theres no excuse. this game does however succeed on having you take over whomever, and explore a vast amounts of taboo kinks with lion dudes, cow ladies, goat dudes. and even some m/m (which is lacking btw, all characters should be able to interact during scenes)...

it seems like theyre focusing on the very minimum and short term rather than actually making this a game. if you want a quick fap and got a decent pc, this could be for you. but if youre expecting an actual GAME, its not. its an animation viewer with a cast of characters, and an empty map to explore. and on the side a proof concept demo featuring very dull and basic dialogue quests.

this could be great, it could. but the dev team are all over the place and clearly have no idea how to pull this into being an actual functioning game. the time is been, and the content available. thats why its two stars. optimisation this bad, this far into DEVELOPMENT.... NO EXCUSES. laziness.

carnal instinct does what this tries to do SO MUCH BETTER. better optimised too, and resembles games like conan exiles type gameplay. development is long winded, but theyre still communicative with their players. go to carnal instinct. this is likely to be left in the state its in for how long its been in development for

With almost an AAA budget and nearing the 5 year development mark, you'd expect more more than an animation viewer. At least the animations are good, because everything else is extremely lacking, with no real care in development as bugs from 2 years ago have still not been fixed.

If you wonder how to describe Wild Life well my friend its the Star citizen of Adult Games. Big promises, Insane Future Visions, Very Interesting and promising looks and Gameplay but... then you realise those are just render trailers or promises made and you actually download the game just to find a unfinished game in very long development that at the current state is very far from what it is promised to be. So ill give this a VERY carefull and Hopeful 4 Stars. I watched this game for a long time but its not going anywhere for now come back in 3 years maybe they then have moved on from the show room and 1 mission gameplay and actually managed to create a superb Eroge game like promised.. well or you will see a Abandonded tag. Lets hope for the best

1st of, I'm sorry to say this...
in this new version, with the same settings those gave me minimum 40 fps in the UE4 version with almost top quality visuals, I don't even get to move with a kind of Tomb Raider 2 (the original) graphics, in a pretty empty environment nontheless...

in one word: unplayable

cant save.
worste optimization.
2 hr gameplay no one sex scene.
bigest emty map i see. but 1 star for good look amination in sandbox.
without save\ load its unplayble.
followed character stuck in rocks

I don't know the point of writing a review when we already have these many, but ohwell.
I applaud the effort and consistency of the team making this game, but at the end of the day it's just, boring. Sound design is great, but the girls all have bodies that are pretty much the same. Also the furry only stuff is just eye rolling. Some how it still manages to hold a very vanilla feel. Also noodle dicks, this is not the next step up in 3d sex animations. Guys have noodle dicks that just curve however.

I keep coming back to give the animations a look for like an hour to see if anything's above board and it's not. I think monster massage actually handles it's animations better come to think of it.
