riddiculous...Unreal Engine is clearly not an engine for erotic games
explain to me how the engine itself would differenciate based on content type.
AI based engine which will refuse to function as soon as a 3D model with a humane appearance drops clothes and/or executes an animation which might resemble intercourse ?
UE4 has been in use for all types of games. the issues are developers who dont know the engine well enough or dont have the time and build unoptimized garbage on top of it, but that happens to "normal" games just the same. even if developers could do better, AAA studios save the expense of optimizing their games with the excuse "buy a better computer" and transfer responsibility over to the customers/consumers.
UE4 is one of the most flexible engines. many custom engines with their own name are simply based on UE4 and heavily altered. theres a reason why UE4(5) is so popular and widely used and why other engines like the CryEngine arent. Unity caught up a bit but UE5 killed it completely for now.
