It is the new version. I think that perhaps the developers were pressured to release the UE5 version before they could optimize it and I hope that in the near future they will solve it. However, the jump didn't seem necessary to me, UE4 looked good enough in my opinion. I suppose that this new version will allow some new development and construction options, but for now the truth is that the game has gone from having three different maps to one, and the performance and appearance have been severely affected. I hope it will be resolved soon.
They were going to cut the old maps eventually, the old demo map already had all the quests removed a while back.
When they add story mode and/or story to it (that's what they're working on). It will show in the changelog.

lol. VAM is a piece of shit. They didn't even manage to implement minor basic stuff, even in the simple shower scene where the girl is masturbating she's missing her pussy by a mile. If the devs can't even do simple things like placing a hand correctly, I don't have any hope or time for the game.

Well its definitely not out of the question, just currently not defined as to when we will produce animations for that pairing.
Unfortunately it's just video files you can loop. But you can convert ur mp3 in mp4 via sony vegas for example, that's how it works right now.
Thats the difference between real time and a fixed pre defined animationplayer. VAM is just a sandbox where everyone can create looks or animate what they want, thats the reason that there is so much varaiation in quality.
