Does anyone else have the severe land texture LOD loading issues in Old Wild Life map? The low-res versions of the textures are visible closer and stay way longer on the screen that they used to be in the prev version of the game (Epic video settings):

This shows up under female protagonist, but I dont see any way to play it as a female protagonist, Can we get the tags updated/corrected?

The female protagonist, Maya, is playable starting in chapter 3. You can rush through Max's chapter 1+2 fairly quickly if you just want to skip to Maya.

Hi - how do you connect your Lovense device to Wild Life? I'm having issues connecting to it. I do Mobile app bluetooth to PC - Enable LAN Mode with Local IP and Port. But cant figure it out

Don't turn 'Textures' all the way up in your video settings. It uses an absurd amount of VRAM and will cause this issue when you run out. There's practically no discernible loss in quality leaving them on 'High' instead.

I'm having same issue no matter the quality. People were reporting this in 2020, but we're approaching 2026 and it's still an issue.

It's the /old/ map. There's no reason to update, fix, optimize, patch or whatever it. Just like I don't expect adobe to ever update the the copy of photoshop CS2 I still use. It costs them nothing to leave it in and we can still make use of it even if it isn't as optimized as the new map.

Your post brings nothing to discussion, I expected maybe someone had some workaround and wills to share it. And I still hope someone with actual know-how comes by.
Map old or not, it's not like those 6 years just vanished, there were planty of time to fix this. Also it's way more performance friendly than the new one. It's not much to expect textures to stay loaded, is it?

There was a launcher a while back, but now the game is downloaded directly - plug and play.
