First, I understand this game is in early development. I have read most of the comments from both sides, with that being said:
The dev flat out stated that he has bad coding habits. But the worst if it is when he doesn't listen to every single post on topic that complains about having a random schedules.
There appears to be 8 time slots during a day. Late afternoon the sister can be in one of two locations conservatory/courtyard. Know here comes the issues, she can only train you in yoga(concentration) if she is in the conservatory and she is only in the conservatory at most once during the day so if she isn't in there during the late afternoon you cant train yoga that day. This is piss pore design, on top of that she is in the courtyard during the early afternoon with no other conflicting location giving a place she doesn't even need to be in, as there is no plot that happens there, up to two times per day.
Another example of bad design is yet again with the sister and teaching Mesmerism in her room during the last hour of the day and mind you the hardest hour to get to as any training done in the evening ends strait into the sleep screen by passing said hour, as well as most of the outings to the bar and taking a girl home to feed. But if that wasn't enough of an issue, yet again the sister 3 out of 4 times isn't even in the room during this 1 and only hour that you can train this skill, no she is in the library for the 3 or forth hour during the day. But keep in mind do to a semi-random schedule when you need her in the library she is never there.
Know lets talk about the RND of the combat mechanics:
It states in the tutorial that punch is weaker then the kick as it is harder to kick someone then it is to punch them, there by giving the kick a -2 to hit. But over several hours of testing and getting a total 9 levels through three games(2/5/2) kick does on average 0-2 damage the defense is random and almost always spikes 1-2 higher then the damage output of the kick but ranging between 0-6 total. So lets look at the punch which is supposed to be weaker the average is between 4-6 depending on if you took strength over dex. Last time I checked 4 is bigger then 2 making the strong attack that doesn't hit much pointless.
To sum this all up the game could be good but the dev refuses to listen to good game design advice. Yes one needs to create for their own desire, but when everyone tells you what you are doing is bad there must be some bit of truth to it. We play games for fun, not to waist time grinding just to get crumb that in the long run doesn't advance the plot.
