VN - Ren'Py - Abandoned - Witch Master [v0.1.9] [STStudio]

Played v0.1.9 – has been abandoned for years – mostly kinetic novel with no real choices that matter, also pretty short – maybe 20 minutes? There are also only two scenes – one masturbation scene with Fleur and one dream scene with Ginny as a maid, sucking a fat master’s dick while Hermione watches.
It’s kinda crap, there are spelling and grammar mistakes and the dialogue is stilted. The plot is Draco Malfoy using a mind control artifact to manipulate the women around Potter to get his hands on the black inheritance. The story ends after using the artifact to give Hermione an erotic dream.
The mind control concept is interesting and the art isn't bad either but don’t bother with that one – what we have isn’t great and it likely won’t be continued either,

This game probably never will be updated, my this is the best looking HP game of them all. It was fun to play as Draco, and I wish the developer would have updated it. It probably won;t, but these where the best 5 seconds of my life, because of the art style and Fleur.

If you are a Potter fan then this is actually well worth checking out.

The back story alone is compelling enough to get me to write a review.

Artwork is nicely executed, story is strong. English language use (I know from comments that abuse of the language however well meaning upsets some folk) is almost ok (much of the syntax is jarring and they could do with a bit of native English language support but it looks good enough to make the effort worthwhile).

The nerd factor they mention in their write up of the game has produced what appears to be a seriously well thought out parody as opposed to something less professional. To be fair this is early days but it looks promising (within the genre).

Overall really good so far, while the content is lacking for now, we've finally cleared the prologue 1 month after launch. Which for a Harry Potter adaptation is 3 years earlier than its competitor. While the art work can at times be a bit weird, overall it is leagues better than most you'd find on F95, with its only competition being Innocent Witches, though with a much faster turn out rate.

Unlike most people, I don't really mind Draco being the 'protagonist'. Definitely works better than a Ron, or OC story that comes off as bad fanfiction (I'm looking at you IW & WaW).

They need to clear up the english translation a bit, but overall a good one to look forward too.

It might be pretty early to write a review, but in the future I can change my rating if needed.


As of v0.1 the game is a demo, but I really liked the overall concept.

You're not playing as the usual horny good boy, you're playing as someone who clearly has a goal in mind but will find a lot of fun and pleasure on the way.

Every single girl presented by now is cute and hot. Props to the artist.

The idea of using an amulet to give a little "push" to the girls is really good. I don't like the thought of straight-up controlling the girls and basically turning them into sex dolls. That's where this game shines. It has the perfect amount of mind control, something quite rare in the genre.

For what I've seen, you have the "cruelty" stat. That's basically what made me write this review. This kind of stat is so underused nowadays that it almost makes me sad. It would be awesome to see a polar opposite stat to cruelty and lock some options behind a certain amount of each stat. If you've been kind and caring with the girls, you can have options to offer emotional support or favors. If you've been cruel and evil, you can have options to offer help in exchange of favors or blackmail them. This is an actual advice to the dev that I would love to see in-game.

All I hope in the future is that this will not be one of those trainer games with too much grind. Grind is okay and sometimes needed, but spending 50 days in-game to unlock a 5 minutes scene is too much. However, judging by the quality of this game, I believe that will not be the case.
