I have spent 600 hours in Witcher 3. I fucking love witcher 3, and I love Ciri in Witcher 3. That's why this game is a particularly tough pill to Swallow. Did you get it? Cause Ciri is also called "Zireael" which means "Swallow", so it's kind of a pun and this has gotten awkard, I'll just show myself to the door.
I like the premise of the game. Emhyr has captured Ciri and is now determined to break her will and have her give birth to his heir. The idea of Emhyr+Ciri incest has already been hinted at for a long time as far I know, so thus far, the game is on point.
Emhyr has also placed Ciri under a powerful spell, preventing her from using her powers or being recognised by people she knows. This kind of makes sense, so fair enough.
And here is pretty much where the positives end. Instead of training Ciri himself, Emhyr hires a random nobody to do it, without any supervision at all. This makes no sense. Emhyr has been obsessed with Ciri for years, so I find it highly unlikely that he would just hand her over to someone he doesn't know at all. He would most likely want to supervise her training personally, or at the very least have a loyal subject keeping an eye on things on his behalf.
instead, Emhyr hands Ciri over to a random guy, basically telling him "I don't care what you do to her, just turn her into a slut within 30 days, so I can fuck a baby in her" and then fucks off.
What's to prevent this guy from just taking off with Ciri? What if he ends up getting her pregnant by accident? What if Ciri managed to find a way to escape, since there is no additional supervision? What if....
Art is... a mixed bag. The main poster and a few of the renders look pretty amazing, but there are just as many or more, which looks completely horrible. Most of the times, things just looks off.
Dialogue is... basic. Ciri's dialogue can basically be boiled down to a single threat about her cutting off your dick, phrased in a few different ways. Not very creative and also quite a bit of broken english.
As for gameplay, there is not a lot. Like 5 minutes worth, if you take your time. It's more a demo than anything else.
Also, it's worth noting that quite a lot of the game's assets has been ripped straight from Witcher 3. We are talking HUD, music and a few other things. I know we like to sail the high seas here, but this game just screams "lazy cashgrab" at me.
I would love a proper Witcher 3 trainer game, especially if Ciri is one of the subjects, but sadly this game is not it. Maybe it might change, because I do see a potential for a great game here, buried deep down, but for now, this is in no way worth the time or effort to play.
