The art style is perfect , it's totally my taste
The Combat system is kinda repetitive , Go near the enemy , Hit Space , Use special ability
-What is the problem then ?
Well Am gonna tell you , the enemys in this game are B R O K E N , most precisly the escape prompt , for exemple when you 'escape" and enemy after he grabs you he will push you , HOWEVER ,HE'S NOT GONNA PUSH YOU FAR ENOUGHT , So you will be on the ground and the enemy will just Spam attack you and it's just an endless death cycle .
Now , in the 2nd room there will be some little goblins , they have a total of 4 spawn points. When 2 of them grab you they will remove your clothe and they will just kill you since they don't push you far enought to be in a safe spot .Oh and btw , at the end of the room there is a Big Troll , his attack range IS FAR LONGER than yours,so you will need to use your special ability.
But wait , there's more ! You can't use your special ability if you don't have your clothe on , and since the goblins spawn indefinetly you don't have time to put them back on .
So yeah , I din't even beat the 2nd room ...

Wolf's Dungeon has surprisingly solid combat, if a bit brutally difficult, like Ghostrunner level of difficulty. It is also filled with lots of quite kinky (if somewhat over-the-top) scenes. Overall, it is a refreshingly unique game, though certainly not one for everyone.

I have a love/hate relationship with that game.

On one hand, it has absolute banger monster designs and oviposition animations. On the other hand, they are coupled with a game which is both inconsistent and clunky in gameplay terms.

Also, it seems that the recent updates seem to focus on humanoid/guro stuff, which is a shame because anyone who played Fairy Fighting and this know that this is definitely not what the creator's forte is.

My advice is to regularly make copies of your saves as soon as you beat and boss or enter a new zone, so that you can replay whichever part you want at any given time.

I was not mentally prepared for all the weird animations. Its quite disturbing, I cannot goon to this. Sorry man, I will have to leave you with a 1 star on this one. You can animate, but this shit ain't it.

If I could give this game 2.5 stars I would. It's really rough because there are parts of the game that I genuinely enjoy and it's nice to have a hentai game that actually feels like a game... but at the same time... I don't want to fight like I'm fighting a fucking dark souls boss. Not only that, but some enemies are very frustrating to fight as they could just stun lock you until game over. if THAT was the only issue, I would of rated it 3 stars, hell get rid of the stun locking and I would of given 4 stars, but my main issue is the end game or at the very least, what IS the end game for now. Although the creator has a record of making some grotesque shit, he usually makes it sexual or at the very least sexually focused. The torture rooms are just not sexual at all. It feels like I am one scene away from it being a snuff game, and that just isn't what majority of the game is. To give an example, right before you actually get to the torture rooms you fight a tiger lady that, if you lose too, will literally lick off half of your skin and one tit. I was so taken aback because that just isn't what the rest of the game is. Too quote a fellow commentor of the game " We wanted a return to what 90% of the game is currently and was years ago. And I get he's normally a guro artist but I mean, you literally reap what you sow."

TLDR
Good art, BS stunlocking, Dark Souls level of fights, and a little too far into the grotesque at the end.

Being a young naive lass new to this genre my experience with this game being the first game i ever played in this entire cursed website is kinda contrasted against the other reviews

The difficulty is difficult because of the clunky controls that has a latency lag of half to a solid second from your inputs to the game which is too fucking unbearable, i even had to look up guides cause some part of the game arent explained

though i dont know how but i managed to beat the game but would i recommend this to other players? ABSOLUTELY NOT!

If anyone wants to mod this game to remove the latency lagging then ill be down to play this game again

i dont mind the dark souls level of difficulty cause im not one to cry about my own skill issues but fighting against the controls and stupid latency lag is a bad way to ramp up the difficulty of a game.

... well, now that I've finally played this one, I can see why it's considered the Dark Souls of adult games.

Overall, it's honestly not bad. Obviously the content is extreme for the most part but the pixel art is easily some of the best out there for the genre and is quite unique. Combat is frustrating but doable. The wooden ball minigame is surprisingly relaxing. I think what I truly appreciate about the game, though, is the protagonist's personal development, mentally and physically. Not often you have gameplay where you start off meek and need clothes but as the story progresses you're no longer ashamed of going naked. I like it.

You know what else is painful? Not being able to play this full screen. Its default dimensions don't do its good art direction any favours.

Terrible, difficult controls, can't even kill the 1st orc, small amount of HP, whoever made this game f you and your mom, it's harder than dark souls. Since the developer just make for fun so that's ok for the game look like is almost abandoned. Played since 2020 and I have kinda bad impression for this game....
- The game character movement so weird, isn't flexible at all, and why is MC vulnerable when she isn't wear underwear???
- So hard, TOO DIFFICULT , How can I pass every stage more comfortable with this crap movement?
- I though it's just normal BDSM game but kinda brutal =)))) If you are fine with this gerne, you can try to play, torture furry... goddamn

Wolf's Dungeon is a unique and special game with it's own charm. You won't find anything like it again. I like 2D side-scroller games and found this hidden gem by chance.
It's a ryona side-scrolling game that features impregnation, birth, gore, blood, futa, tentacles, monsters, prolapse, scat, pee and other things I can't find the words for.
My first playthrough was with version [WD240505]. The game is still in development but has much to offer. Every enemy has it's own animations if the character gets grabed and it's own "Game Over" animation mixed with CG art. Some enemies even have multiple "Game Over" animations. You can also interract with some background NPC's.
The animations are outstanding and wonderfully done, same for the CG art. You can't select a difficulty when you start the game. The game won't go easy on you, after you start the game you have to fight with everything you've got against the monsters/creatures but you will lose many times till you win against certain enemies! For most players the game will be too difficult and most likely feel too frustrating, so I recommend the game only for the more "skilled" players! If you are sensitive to ryona or gore in the slightest way, then this game is also nothing for you!

Controls
My first playthrough was with a controller but I recommend using the keyboard. Especially for the moments when the character gets grabed and you have to free yourself.
At first the controls felt a bit clunky with the controller but after a few minutes I have got used to it. The controls can't be changed maybe it will get changed in the future to remap them for those who want to. I had no problems with the default controls on my controller and even on the keyboard. Playing on the keyboard is easier in general for this game in my opinion.

Gameplay
You have to fight different kind of enemies, solve puzzles, participate in torture minigames, find keys and defeat bosses to progress further. Each stage has it's own themed enemies. By defeating enemies you gain EXP that will fill up your EXP-BAR. Once it's full and you let your character sleep you will level up and gain a "Skill Ball". In the early stage you can use those "Skill Balls" to level certain stats up via a Pinball minigame.
Those 3 stats can be increased and you have to choose. I would recommend to place all your "Skill Balls" into "Power". With each level up all 3 stats will increase slightly!
In the later stages the "Skill Ball" mechanic is gone but all 3 stats will still increase with each level up.
You also have clothes/underwear in the early stage that serve as a shield for the "ONE-HIT" grab enemies. In the later stages the clothes/underwear will also disappear.
Attacking only doesn't work against all enemies, sometimes you have to time when to dodge and when to attack in order to defeat your enemy or else you will only see the "Game Over" screen. Enemies can also gang up on the character, up to 3 at a time. The NPC's in the background also have nice added animations and you can sometimes tell what fate your character awaits if you will fail or what kind of enemy is waiting for you.

Conclusion
The game is not for everyone, especially because of the ryona-, gore- parts and the difficulty. It has really good animations and CG art. The game gives you sometimes quite a challenge but that's what also makes it more interesting for me.
Eluku99 did an amazing job with all the animations and CG arts. You can tell that he made it with a lot of dedication. The game is still not finished but I'm looking forward to future updates and can't wait when it's finished.

One of my favorite games of all time, however, I will admit that the first time I checked it out I got discouraged (I believe before even getting past the first room.) Learning to kick and dodge and leveling up is quite difficult but very rewarding (grabbing a maxed character save if you still struggle is less rewarding but anything to see the amazing art!). Second attempt I fell in love: Wolf's Dungeon is a challenging game with unique puzzles and the best pixel torture I have ever seen. If you are into punishment this game has variety and it is very exciting not knowing what you will get. But if you want some specific things to look forward to, urethra is not off limits here, and wooden horse torture goes hard! If for some reason you like torture without blood this game has limited scenes for you. Consider playing something tamer. Best of luck!

Overall the game is good. Personally I liked it. My only gripe is the movement or combat. I'd probably rate it an 8 or a 9 /10. Animations were good, art is good.

I just want to echo obromacare's review, that this game is just not worth playing on the basis of how hard it is. While your character has slow wind-ups and wind-downs for all of her attacks, enemies can execute frame perfect grabs and hits that take the control away from your character, every encounter is turned into an annoying, repetitive flying kick, quick 1-2 and then pull back. If you lose your clothes, the combat is even shittier and less fun.

Now, admittedly the animations are very well done, and if you're a fan of hardcore, ryona content like me, then you'll love this game. But the game is just not worth it. The files come with an unlocked gallery for enemies and a save game with everything completed, so that's nice if you just want to watch stuff, but I'd rather watch a compilation of all scenes on a porn site.

Unique and interesting, 100% recommand, it may be weird but its not for weak hearted, if you start the game you need to expect a lot of gore and extreme bdsm that strech the body to the limit.If you have a sick mind like i do, this is the best game for you

This is an extremely frustrating game thats difficult for the sake of laughing at the player's face. To those who aren't certain on what this game is, its a pixel artstyle sidescroller that has heavy emphasis on ryona, AKA girls getting heavily beat up.

Pros:
-If you like Ryona, you'll like the scenes. Prolapsed vaginas, rape, stomach bulges, etc. There's a ton.
-The Pixel art is genuinely great. I have no complaints in the art department.

Cons:
-My biggest complaint is how difficult it is to control the FMC. If she were more smooth in controls, the game's difficulty would be fine...but she controls horribly. There's a small delay before you make nearly ANY action. Heavy kicks, jumping, you name it. She just feels stupidly clunky to control, and I guarantee you'll feel frustrated at least once in the first three rooms you visit.
-Now, why do I say that "the game is laughing at the player's face"? What if they just aren't that good at programming? Well, I say the game mocks the player because the enemies have stupidly precise spacing and movesets. The first "weak" mob of the game knows how to sidestep, can dodge closerange kicks, and runs at the same speed as you. If this mod touches you, you get stunned. If you fail the QTE, you now have to spam ur controls to wiggle out of their grasp. As "hot" as it sounds, I promise you its extremely frustrating. This isn't even accounting for the first boss. The first boss . But hey, you finished the stupidly difficult boss that you had to grind for, right? Well... .

This game would genuinely be a 1/5 if it weren't for the pixel art and graphic scenes hard carrying the game. I thought the game was clunky for the sake of charm, but that first boss genuinely pissed me off because that boss made it evident that the "clunkiness" of the FMC was intentional, and left clunky on purpose. Imagine you're playing Mario 64, and you're simply admiring the charm. Controls are funky, but it's whatever. Then you fight King Bombom in world 1-1, and he moves with the fluidity of Bayonetta or Dante. Then when you die, the game laughs and flat out says "lol go grind the goombas with your N64 controller for 20 minutes". Just grab a gallery for this game, it genuinely isn't worth it to grind this game out.

This game pretty unique and hard. Pretty much every enemy has an animation and a gameover. The game's difficulty is pretty hard. The combat takes some getting use to, but it's not so bad once you get the hang of it. Would be better if there was a difficulty setting, since there's alot of BS in the combat as in dealing with multiple enemies, grabbing you. I spent a good amount of hours getting to the end of the current version. Retried so many times just because having to deal with multiple enemies at once and kept getting grabbed. You do get a QTE that let's you escape the grab. The protagonist's move changes with each area. As far as the H scenes go, they can be brutal. I give this game a thumbs up

This is the best, the worst, the hardest, the what-in-the-fucking-world game i've ever played in 23 years my life in this galaxy. It have perfectly good animation though the game was pixelated, the game over scene on each enemies, the puzzle, the gameplay which in some part make my hands shivering of excitment like in the tiger girl scene and how the dev create the enemies with different sex scene is just wholesome. really a beautiful and top notch game. the gameplay, the gameover scene, the enemies, the animation, the fetishes all of it is something you can only see on the deep web though im not someone who like gore so much but this game is in another case mamamia perfecto.

Despite some flaws Eluku games have unique atmosphere and style, which I enjoy very much. Sometimes the game could be very challenging and force player to grind, but nonetheless Wolf's dungeon is very good. The amount of fetishes is impressive, although this time Eluku leaning more towards BDSM and guro.
