Wondering how long before AI animation games land (Not for or against...just guessing)

The youtube algorithm started pushing AI animation channels at me about a month or two ago. They were all themed after many channels I followed, I.E. Marvel, Star Wars, etc. But they were all entirely AI generated animations. Some of the channels were...bad. A few were actually pretty damn good except for a few janky movements...usually hands. It's gotten me wondering about when these kinds of animations will start showing up in games commonly...adult or not. And these channels just churn out the animations at a pretty good rate.

Example youtube vid:

This isn't a thread about hating or loving AI. There are a dozen other threads for that. This thread is about how long before these types of animations start showing up commonly in AVNs or other games that show up on this site.

Probably not very long, there's already been a deluge of AI-CG games using static art... animations will come soon after. The next few years are gonna be interesting for sure.

And it is not just static art, some games are using music tracks created with AI.

So I agree the next few years will be interesting and might show a lot of combinations, some we couldn't even guess at now.

Hadn't even considered music. That an interesting twist. Is it any good? Or just background noise?

Not sure, went with a different game, just noticed it had AI art and music while searching the strategy sale but the music in the preview clip on steam seemed nice.

A lot will depend how good can it get in the short term(the next year or two). Because if AI animations and AI art in general will still have major issues while getting pushed onto people from all angles people will come to naturally just reject it. And if that happens even if AI animations and art become good enough people will still remember the bad experiences from the past and just choose not to support such projects.

This can take a few years at best imho.

AI models for static images (lewd or not) can be created by advanced users with consumer-level hardware (and have already been for quite some time - look at what is on display at websites like civitai.com). Hence you can see even now some quite decent looking adult games with AI imaging. And the entry barrier for new users is already attainable enough - both hardware-wise and knowledge-wise.

AI models for videos (even short ones), as I underastand, require a whole new level of computational power to create and to run. So as long as they are so far mostly/totally created and run by companies on a subscription basis, the market offer is gonna remain limited. Once they develop to a state when some advanced creator with a workstation (running for example a couple of RTX 5090s on a Threadripper mobo) can produce lewd animations offline and train tailored models for such purposes, then we'll see the influx of such content and games. And, of course, with time this content will look more and more pleasing, just as it is with static.

Not as long as I thought, honestly. At the very least we're within a year of the first stolen video HTML games that use them.

There's actually some pretty cool example on that website.

It seems to me though that there is a race between two outcomes, or perhaps both will exist, and it is either AI will create video by generating, or, it will take a photo and animate it.

Interesting times ahead.

Only when AI goes 3D (10 years probably as this is a huge step up)
Ai is only 2D right now and doesnt know what a 3D space is.

AI today has the same problems as normal human made 2D art has.
its hard to keep the environment intact when changing camera views.
and to keep the characters faces the same from different angles.
AI today cant do it its only good to create random images.

Depends on the type of game. AVNs and HTML and RPGmakers where all you need are cinematics are a go much earlier than that.

I'm not a futa fan at all, but some of the realistic futa (heh, misnomer, but you know what I mean if you've been on the site) were wild.
