Would i succeed if my game wasn't about incest/porn?

Hey

Today i will be starting to make a game that is:

1- has incredible graphics and story
2-the story shapes every character's personality
3- lots of animations (not loops)

(BTW my GPU is 760........ so rip 3D graphics)

I Want it to be epic no matter what, but the thing is.... i'm not planning to make any porn-scenes or scenes that has nudity (personal reasons)

So my question is... Would YOU play a game that has an epic story rather than other porn games?

i have just 1 problem... (which i thank you already can tell) that my English isn't the best, so are my writings any good? and what would be your advice

Personally I wouldn't. If I wanted what you're offering I'd go for mainstream consoles/steam. No offense but nothing on here can compare to Kingdom Hearts, The Last of Us, The Legend of Zelda, etc. But that's me. Good luck though.

There is no doubt a market for games with story-based VN's (non-adult). Those, however, are not as popular and successful (businesswise)

Also, a site like this, which deals with adult stuff, is not the right place to gain a following in a non adult game.
People here would not mind a heavy story with good personalities and characters depth. And even though they wouldn't mind that there would be no sex in the first couple of updates (if the story and lewd stuff is good enough), it has to happen sometime.

So, bottom line, if you want to make a non-adult game with a great story in it - go for it. As long as you okay not getting money (or living of it). The market ain't there for it in the same way the adult market is.
Make your story, once it's done. Try steam.

If there is no porn, the gameplay needs to be fun more than anything else. Loren Amazon Princess is a decent example I guess. Not the greatest gameplay but the combat is pretty fun and the story is good enough.

For RPGM, there is the recent Fear and Hunger which is getting positive reviews. Also the Last Sovereign.
