Wouldn't it be nice to have our own adult Mother/Undertale/DR-inspired indie RPG?

Mother 3, Undertale, and Deltarune are games that captured my heart because they gave me characters that were memorable/funny/relatable, worlds that I can only dream of exploring/living in, and a story that ties both of those things into an experience that will stick with me for the rest of my life.

So, where are the folks making games like that but with sex?

I understand that most of the adult game dev scene features visual novels, management games, RPGMaker RPGs, and all that, but I figured that there was a subset of the population that 1. Enjoyed Undertale/Deltarune, 2. Enjoyed those games' Rule 34 (see: TheWill's Under(her)tail comic), and 3. Want a similar experience to those games but with sex.

I also understand that such a game would have quite the scope, and more importantly, would need to solve the issue of balancing sex and gameplay effectively. However, I'm certain that there are folks out there that have come up with solutions for that issue. I'd love to hear from those folks!

Yes, the thing with undertale was instead of fighting you can defeat your enemys using pacifism, you know make friends with them, just imagine a game with sexy monstergirls that is not about defeating or getting defeated instead you could just go on a date with lots of waifus, like monstergirl quest the original was kinda similar to undertale, it was teaching this monsters are friends lesson and made you solve fights with pacifism ( sex ) but sadly most scenes have been game over scenes, most monstergirl games sadly do this ( if you loose they fuck you leads to game over ) i kinda would like a monstergirl game that lets you explore a fantasy world lets you turn monstergirls into friend with benefits and jeah that would be similar to undertale 18 + also i love riddles in games, realy think the rpg riddles in undertale been great the art style was also great if a dev would ever make a big monstergirl game similar art style lots of riddles funny jokes countless amazing pov sex scenes i would realy like that, i would make a game like that myself if i would know how. lol

Undertale at it's core is a commentary on the player's narrative choices, and the ultimate conclusion is that the choices don't matter if you pick them all.

The intended order of routes completed is Neutral > Pacifist > Genocide. Your first playthrough is choosing who to kill or spare based on your whim, which is how most choice-based games are for the first time. The next playthrough you have the idea to try sparing all the monsters, which the game has been hinting towards. You do so, and get the 'Happy' ending.

But then you get another idea, what if you killed as many as you could? Completing the Pacifist route wasn't done out of kindness, it was done to see what happened. The genocide route is the final thing to see. Chara destroying the world once you complete genocide is a metaphor for you being done with the game.


Undertale's narrative is something hard to replicate, and adding adult content doesn't make it any easier.
