Yea... that's always a tricky one. Its like tech debt and fast-food. Given a choice consumers will almost always choose short-term gratification over long-term risk, and its a balancing act how to make sure they're still eating their veggies. And often times the long-term 'veggies' are a risk. (I actually didn't see 'add more photos' in the last in-game poll I saw, it was just graduation update, 'more context', and 'more girls / events for them') The 'wife phone' game is struggling with that a bit right now too (love that game), where the author is focused on patreon polls (hey, gotta pay the bills, totally get it), but the polls are driving the game into single-path narrative for a game that got its fans initially from multiple-choice control. I think the pics are totally good an important, certainly loving them.
Mmm.. if I can make a suggestion, maybe add some more specificity to the next poll and see if there is enough interest? (I'm just one person, one person does not a statistic make) For example:
* Events when girls complete side-jobs (with write-ups and possible player interactions / reactions from the girls)
* World reaction to photos (some random events based on photos that have been sold of the girls)
* Personalized reactions during classroom interactions (some girls start getting some unique content)
Or whatever you're inspired to do. Its just thoughts, do as you will of course. Best of luck!
Tbh the only reason I dislike the photoshoot mechanic is how cumbersome it is when trying to make custom girls. Needing to have like, 20+ photos for the photoshoot to be valid, which is harder than it sounds when using girls who aren't artsy like what you'd see on MetArt, and then having such complex naming schemes makes it extremely tedious to even get one photoshoot done, and the content it actually adds is relatively minor, at least in the current form. I think events, which have been mostly untouched outside of things like canadian sausage's panty raid, would be a much better angle to work with. Easier to set up even if they require actual writing of content, and more engaging for the player.

I was wondering if it is okay to remove Vanilla girls from the game folder? I want to see some different variety that mods offer, but I often get stuck seeing the same vanilla girls. Would removing them mess up the game or scripting?
You can freely remove them as long as there are still some girls in the folder. I've never tried with less than 5 but I know you can go that low with entirely modded girls and still be fine.

Does the 5 have to do with the PTA meeting or is it just an arbitrary number?
You start the game with 5 girls in the class. I do not know what happens if there's less than 5 to start with.
You'll get an array error, I think the one time I tried it, the game shut down.
You can also start with four girls if you screw up one of the girls you're making and don't convert her face files to .webm. Then, when starting a new game, when the game selects her as a starter, you'll get an array error which you can ignore. The game then proceeds with just four girls. It can also take a couple of days to figure out what your mistake was and fix it.
I'm having trouble with the video tagging system while attempting to add in a new exam event. Copied over the code from the example mod, including the below label. The event triggers with the dialouge and I get a debug error message that it can't find any wbms with that tag. I thought it may have been problems with the converted files I was using so I just coppied the kissing webm from the example mod and renamed it "degrade".webm. Still get Travolta'd.

I have successfully added some videos to existing tags using a _1 or _bare, but can't seem to get a new main tag to work even after adding it into the text list in the vids folder
NVM I got it from messing around. For future reference: looks like the script that writes the new main tags into the text file is sensitive to outdated tags being in their (seems like it relies on the length of the list). Deleting them and reloading the game worked for me.
Just an idea: since you're still building the game, and since every new installation seems to require a restart, could you add an accelerated start option? Something like having photostudio and 8 students allready unlocked, or something similar? I really like this game, and every update adds new content. But it's a grind getting through the first 2-3 weeks, and that could be skipped.
You can use console command cheats to increase the academy prestige and use that to more quickly unlock the rules.
This game is great for what it does and how it does it.
But man are we starved for new interactions, I know variety is the spice of life (talking about the extra photoshoots and girls) but it's been so long and there's barely any real control over the interactions we have with the girls/moms that could be a lot more fun and immersive...

how do I install the jordan mod am I supposed to remove the numbers from the folder names and overwrite every thing or do I just put the folders in as is?
If it's the individual girls, put the folder in game/girls.
Suggestions?
My favourite time is the first month or so... the only thing I don't like is the speeches at the start, and those can just be edited so they don't take as long.
