Well, we officially know what BD's content will be in 2026: episode 14 divided into small and incomplete updates with many excuses throughout the next year. I know it, you know it, and in a year this post will have aged like a fine wine.

So damn pathetic, ep 14 was allegedly "ready" to be released with episode 13 back in May, hasn't finished character sheets since August (4months...let that sink in...over 100 days and this dude couldn't complete a few dozen renders for the character sheets..) .
Mofos really giving this dude money to sit on his ass, type a few sentences of lying sob stories with what, MAYBE 20 new renders we havent seen since fuckin 7months ago?
Damn near any other dev within the same time frame of his first mention of episode 13 being ready, could have just scrapped the whole damn game, started from the beginning,rewriting the whole story to where everything fits, and been WAAAAY further along in the story then he currently is.
Then you got devs who put out amazing games with only 50-300 subs working a full time job getting a fraction of what this dude getting putting out more content for damn near nothing. Alot of times going abandoned in the long run because they can't put the time in required to be financially stable without draining themselves half to death. But here BD is...still with a substantial following of supporters. I just don't get it

What frustrates me so bad about this game (and I'm sure all of you as well) is if it had been a different dev that was more consistent, and the quality of the renders was as good as the current teasers seems to imply, we'd be looking at a solid Grade A game here. The best? Maybe not. But it would be a pretty good competitor in the space - and it was.
But remember gang, there's plenty of great games out there. Not too many with a cast as large, but there are games out there with better writing, better characters, which actually get updates. It doesn't make this sting any less, but at least we have the consolation prize of the entire rest of the genre. (And I'd bring up some games if it wasn't likely 'off topic' to discuss similar premises/settings/games etc.)

I still can't believe this scammer is still getting away with this shit. Been away for almost 2 years and the amount of work he's put in...I could probably get better results from an overdosed junkie.

That very much seems like something a normal person wouldn't do if it interfered with their "job" and they were not weeks nor months but YEARS behind with update/rework delays at this point. Terrible priorities and the dude couldn't organize a case of Crabs in a 5 dollar Bordello.

The responsibility/accountability/prioritization ship left a while ago.
If we're being charitable his end of year 2024 devlog was a maybe they'll wright the ship again moment.
However looking back a near year later it clearly has been more of the same if not worse as before; even the non-update stuff such as dev logs, teasers and character cards have seen more delays if released at all.
To me it's clear BD's priorities lie elsewhere. I won't fault them for that, life happens. What i do fault them for is not communicating that to the supporters and fans.
I've said before I would buy the game if it would ever sees a full 1.0 release however if there's no meaningful update before end of year (highly likely) I won't even bother downloading the game anymore let alone buy it.
I'll just enjoy this thread, over the last 2~ years it's provided more entertainment then BD did.
