HTML - X-Change™ Life [v0.21] [Aphrodite]

A unique and fun game with some clever gameplay mechanics.

The 'Overview' of the game is extremely short. More detail really needs to be added so that players know what they are getting themselves into.

The city where the game takes place is a heavily pornified society (developer's own words). Porn logic reigns supreme with this game which means several things:

#1 - Most females in the game are treated like sex objects ("a piece of meat" which is even mentioned in-game)
#2 - The game has "chads" (male playboys) which are very difficult to resist while playing as a female. This means that you could be forced into sexual situations without your consent. If you have a moderate to high horniness or fail one resistance check, you are having sex with the guy and cannot get out of it. Note: There are game options to deal with this but they aren't enabled by default and IMO damage the intent of the game too much.
#3 - Females are treated poorly in the game overall, especially by chads. You will be flooded with crude, rude, and lewd comments constantly.
#4 - Females are sometimes offered money for sex. This was quite shocking and off putting. I can understand if I was wearing prostitution/high sluttiness clothing but I wasn't. I never acted in a way that would lead to this.

The game heavily favors playing as a female in v0.17a. There are lots of features for females that aren't available to males. For example, females can invite males they've given their phone number to over for sex. Males don't have this option. Females have clothing options, males don't.

The author is really detailed about certain things yet neglects obvious things. For example, females with large breasts have to worry about boob fatigue/soreness and there are clothing options and objects in the game to help with that. Yet you can give a girl unlimited alcoholic drinks at the bar and she never gets drunk or says no to more drinks.

The real porn video quality is damaged by some weird filter that the author uses on them. It looks OK with the pictures but it damages the video quality too much IMO. It makes the videos look like 480p low bitrate scenes you'll find on many porn sites.

Some areas of the game are very light on content currently:

Beach, Jungle, Working out, Cleaning, Sister-in-law, Father

Some of the dialog options are also mostly placeholders without much development:

Mutual Interests, Take them down a peg, etc.

The game is still in it's early stages but there is plenty of content to play through currently.

There are plenty of pluses to the game as well.

The porn actors are well chosen with good scenes. The writing is excellent and the game has many unique aspects to it. The gender bending pills are fun and implemented very well. The sales job content is excellent. The sex is fun and engaging with good gameplay mechanics. The game is a unique addition to this site and I was happy to not see the same stuff over and over again!

The developer is very talented and puts out good content. I can't wait to see new content and features added to the game! With more development, the game can definitely reach 5 star potential!

Overall, I'm impressed by the game but it still has a ways to go. I recommend the game as long as you are OK with the premise and game world it takes place in. Best of luck to the author on future development!

Honestly one of the best games in here.
The gameplay is fun, working(*) at your job is fun, interacting with the npcs is fun(**), and the mini-games are a nice way to make the situations immersive. This game is so good, give it a go.
(*) - The deal with having to demonstrate every product in order to sell is taking some control away from me, I think the option to do it for a bonus should happen more often, even though the demonstrations are really(REALLY) well made and fun to play.
(**) - It would be nice to have more content for masculine MCs, such as calling the girls you've gotten a number from , more partner options, female co-workers who you can hit on, learning more sex positions, but I understand the focus of the game is getting transformed into a girl and living as such.
I'm really looking forwards to the next updates, this one is a gem.

One of the better "Real Porn" games out there. Plenty of content already and clever use of game mechanics that keep it hot and fun! I'm usually not into gender-swapping games but the way this is set up, I'm just imagining it as corrupting my character which works just fine.

The idea of playing a game using real porn is weird to me. However the scenes in X-change Life are carefully picked and placed as to try its hardest not to disrupt the immersion. Most real porn games seem to just be visual novels with dumb stories where there's too much text on the screen and too much time between porn scenes. But once again X-change Life has great pacing and a UI that gets me invested.
The gender swap kink is niche but fun to play around with. Also there is ACTUAL gameplay which adds fun while viewing scenes. I have a few complaints. Some of the characters you can choose from have scenes only available to them and trying to play through each character to find the scenes without using a guide seems like a huge waste of time. There's not a huge amount of content available for a single character rather the game wants you to use the in-game machine to swap to another character to view more scenes. Also money is only used on a very few things I would like to see more things added that you can spend on.
The originality of the game is something I really like and trying new characters keeps me coming back which is why I'm giving this a 5/5.

Amazing game with fun mechanics! Giving you a large selection of different body types to play with as well as letting you customize your approach already alot of content for a fun game loop and alot more to come!

Best game I've played. Really good gameplay and story. Had to leave a review befitting of the quality of the game, and it's not even complete yet! Really looking forward to seeing how it develops further.

Huge amount of work from the developer. Descent amount of content so far. For the specific genres one of the best games in the site. Some of the mini games could be improved and also some of the stats and their meaning

While transformation may not be everyone's cup of tea, this game has raised the bar for devs going forward. Not only is the game well made but the dev is incredibly responsive and has done a great job of continually putting out quality content. Most importantly of all, they have opened the floodgates for mods and user generated content which has the potential to truly make this a serious contender for the GOAT adult game if the dev can keep it up and finish the base game while maintaining the same quality as before.

If I were going to financially support any of the devs on this site this guy would be on the top of my list, keep it up!

Yeah, the majority's right. This is actually a pretty good game.

I love the jobsim-idea, and think the rest of the game is kind of average, but the minigames and QTE's are implemented well and are pretty engaging. The writing is serviceable, though I don't think the story is necessarily the game's strong suit. It's more the choices you get to make in the sales-job and how that interacts with your character, that is the core of the experience.

Not that I don't also appreciate the hookups and dating minigames, because they add some more depth to the experience beyond being "Another M2F-game".

The competent use of realporn, gameplay mechanics, and the strong theme of "genderswap-pill salesperson", heavily outweigh the negatives, which are the grindyness of the gameplay-loop, and the generic parts of the lifesim-sections. Not to mention the plethora of other small details put into the game.

Really well made game. The interactive sex mini "game" is very fun. In fact, all of the mini games so far are pretty good, and I normally hate mini games like this! Having more direct control about how sex works, what postions you use and how kinky you wan to get, is great!

Love the approach of AI-altered pictures and real porn. Makes for a unique look.

Even though it plays around with Gender swapping (Which I know may put some people off), I found that this mechanic simply opened the door to having a much wider variety of actors/actresses in one play though. Which let me change thinsg up once I got bored with one particular set of sex videos.

Given this is mostly just a sandbox sex experience so far, ive spent a lot of time on it, because the interactive sex is so well done. I'm looking forward to watching this grow. It has more potential than 99% of the other games on here.

Very well made game with a pretty good amount of content. Excited to see this game fleshed out and more added onto it, could be a contender for the best HTML game on the site bar none.
The minigames can be a little jarring at first but once you get the hang of them they're fairly intuitive and engaging. There is a lack of male based content so if you're expecting that then you'll be disappointed but let's be real you're probably not gonna play this for that.
I've noticed though that almost all of the female PC's are ones that are on the top heavy side(I love boobs don't get me wrong) and would love to see at least one PC that has a transformation with a REALLY nice ass. Maybe based off of Mia Malkova,Mandy Muse, Remy Lacroix, Alexis Texas etc.? I understand the limitations that the developer might be confined to with scenes not being available for certain women though.

Probably one of if not the best HTML games on the site, plenty of content, an actually fun gameplay loop, and real gameplay for sex scenes instead of "blowjob" "sex" "cum" with different characters and scenes depending on partner choice and location. I look forward for further releases.

Really good writing, scenes, and overall gameplay loop, incredible customizability for how early in this game is, really excited to see where it goes from here, will def be checking back in here every once in a while

No real story or plot, just a small intro/prelude before each scene that plays out the same pretty much

step sis is the only one you build a relationship with that leads to further scenes otherwise scenes are just disconnected

as of version .16 theres like 10 scenes, and little to nothing in terms of story or progress in the job path

Enjoyable game with great replay-ability.
The author has taken time and developed a well thought-out plot where the PC is able to choose their own path.
Scenes chosen are pretty consistent and decent quality. Additionally, actors are not the same ones repeated habitually on this site.

Obviously caters to a specific audience. Because of this, it seems likely that opinions will be either very positive or very negative with little in between. For people who enjoy this type of content, I think it's fair to give this a slightly pre-emptive 5 stars for when more content is released in the future.

I think it's a very interesting game concept. It looks well designed in terms of interface...

But everything good has its bad side. I got lost, unless I take action I really don't know what to do, there isn't something linear that I can follow, I don't see any purpose of the protagonist to reach. It's like just watching random dialogues and +18 scenes and that's it (it's the same as looking for a video on any +18 site).

I feel that the idea is fine, but I don't see it developing in the right way. I played it for about 1 hour, but I really don't know what goal I should reach... I'll wait for future updates to see how this game develops.

However, at the moment it is not a game that I would recommend.

-+18 Scenes: 3.7/5 (Yes there are scenes, but I don't feel like such a wide variety)

-Gameplay: 2/5 (it's a click game, so you have to make decisions, but I don't really see that playing it will lead me to a certain goal, at the moment it's like I only watch videos +18, on any website)

-Interface: 3.5/5 (it can be better)
