Ren'Py - xxxFiles [v0.1a Fix] [Caine.Totally.Sane]

Since some others already felt obliged to shower this early stage of the game with stars, here are my two cents:

The renders are quite good, but that's it.

The grind is annoying, tedious and way too much for the rewards. The navigation is bare-bone and while fully functional, the transitions between places are not fluid. The tiny "*" (stars) as points of interaction are too small.
The story has already been labeled by "not much to say here" by the dev himself and that sums it up pretty well. It's average at max and tends towards "boring" and "redundant".

Guess this is going to become another "Came for the fap, stayed for the fap"-kind of game.

I hope for the implementation of a scene gallery asap, too.

This is great so far.

The animated sex scenes have some good impact to them.
The girls are cute with huge tits.

You can chose whether to be "good" (simp) or "evil".

A bit grindy. But manageable.

A great start to an extremely promising game

Reviewing as of version 0.1a Fix

Pros:

• The H-scenes are well made and animated
• There's a guide in the game to help you out
• There's different skills and traits to level up
• Day/night system is decent and not confusing
• I really like the plot about taking a husband's body over as an alien, very interesting
• There's different paths to go down (good/evil)
• Around 1-2 hours to complete
• The grind is very easy and not that complicated

Cons:

• A lot of the traits/skills feel incomplete and or useless as of now. I'm sure future updates will fix this.
• I don't see a gallery in the game but I also could be blind because I feel like a game like this should have one
• The map navigation doesn't feel that smooth in comparison to a lot of other sandbox games.
• While there are choices, I feel like they have little impact as of now. Early build, I get it.

Conclusion:

I recommend this game but I also recommend waiting a few updates for some things to get ironed out and more content to be added. Definitely keeping my finger on the pulse for this one.

I mean just this initial release already had more content than some of the other game that also 3dcg after few months of updates

I'm sure the developer already had some ideas for the game content on future update but just want to share my view about this game, the animation and story I could say it's better than some of the others
about the combat tags, i hope there gonna be like killing people (thugs
, gangster, etc) in secret to absorb their body in order to increase the ability and other stats

Great amount of content for a first release version. The concept is unique, with the MC being an alien like Venom, but instead of being a symbiote, he is more like a skinwalker that kills the person and then takes his shape. He looks human, but can produce tentacles and stuff. He uses it in one scene, but it didn't look very good. I hope it can be used for unique scenes in the future.

Since it is a sandbox, there is the usual navigating maps, grinding for money, affection and stats, etc. However, the map is small with a quick navigation system, and the grind is not very bad, and you can also randomly get stat points from the part time job and affection chores. This is a cool idea and reduces the grind a lot.

The women are very hot, with very voluptuous bodies, but still some variety in the body shapes. The dev has used large, saggy breasts with big nipples and areolae, which is my preference, so I am very happy with the designs. My favourite so far is the daughter's blonde friend, she is kind of like a shortstack.

My only complaint is that the game seems to give two choices for Good or Evil, but it's not very clear what they do. There are no real consequences for being evil. In fact, currently being Evil gives you more scenes, so it's better to choose that every time. I am not reducing my rating for this, however, since it's a first version and these consequences could come later.
