What is this?

A translation tool for Chinese, Japanese and English, powered by a custom LLM. It's using an uncensored version of Llama2 as a base.

Cool. Is it any good?

In terms of quality, it's up there with GPT 3.5, but it really shines with Chinese.

How do you use it?

It's extremely easy to use and you don't need to be tech-savvy at all. Just paste your text and click the buttons. That's it.

There are two modes for translation inside the application:

  1. Using the input box inside the application: You can paste text, or even images containing text, then hit the "Translate" button and you're done.
  2. Using the helper window: The application offers a helper window that you can resize and move anywhere on your screen to grab text within its boundaries. Once you've captured the text, it's automatically translated and shown within the window. You can use this to translate games.

Is it free?

You get 50k free translated characters per month.

- The application is not signed, so it will get flagged by your operating system. It's your decision whether to continue installing it or not.

Web version

There is also a web version for the application if you want to quickly translate something without installing an application. All you need is an account. There is no OCR in the web version.

This is shady as fuck.
If its llama 2 derivative, it should be free without limitation, run locally and cost nothing.
Do not trust this.
