Hey, well, I just downloaded the game from the official website, it's the latest version i assume, and immediately thought about downloading this mod. I installed the mod as instructed. The game crashes during loading, right after the screen showing the game's top patrons. Is there an issue with the mod being not compatible with the latest version of the game?

It says that the mod is not compatible unless the dates match. Latest Yandere Sim released 10/31/25, this was last updated in 2024. They don't match.

On the other site it says the mod is compatible with the October 2025 update tho

I copied & replaced the files from the ~mods directory from the MediaFire download, but the "/" button does nothing, and in the shower (in the 1980's tutorial) she still wore a towel, and she was censored with lighting. Is there anything additional that I need to install?

This is the version of YS that I downloaded. It tells me that I'm playing the 12/1/2025 version, but that a newer version exists.

I do have the mod working now, thanks to RedAISkye's reply.

However, I appear to have only full nudity and no nudity. I probably am doing something wrong, for I can't get her just pantyless.

I already studies the readme file in its entirety, but /N just swaps between fully nude and fully dressed. Also, after installing the mod, I wasn't able to pick up the bloody school uniform from the locker. Instead, she just swaps outfits.

Works fine on my end, try the latest build.
