RPGM - Completed - Yarimon Master: Using Cheats to Fuck 'em All! [v2.15+DLC] [Bosom Studio]

I completed it to 100%. I didn't want it to end, but eventually it did.

This game did not have any of the usually tags that I like. It even has mind control, which I don't dislike but I often find it ruining some tags when combined with mind control. However, I absolutely fell in love with this game. It's a really competent Pok*mon clone, and I honestly found it fun to challenge myself with trying to use the cheat move only once through the entire playthrough.

Often is the case that an eroge becomes way too good of a game, but disappoints on the ero aspect which leaves a lot of people disappointed. But this isn't the case for this game! It's filled with good gameplay AND sex. The story wasn't half-bad, too! I honestly found myself really hyped around the ending.

I've played a LOT of turn-based RPGM eroges and I fell in love with a lot of them, but that's usually because the ero scenes were incredibly good that I forget how average the combat is. In this case, I fell in love with every aspect of it - the gameplay, the ero scenes, and the goddamned story.

I genuinely recommend playing this game once to the absolute completion. I spent more than 12 hours on this game and I don't regret it a bit.

As perfect as a porn game will get.

It's a parody of a Pokemon RPG where you get to have sex with all the people you beat. That's basically it. It's just done at the highest level possible.

Story: It follows the same beats as a Pokemon RPG, except it puts in ample and reasonable plot mechanics to explain the battle sex. There is a 'world threatening' mystery on top of the usual 'catch em all', 'beat em all' storyline of a Pokemon RPG and it is great and deep. The translation seems 'ChatGPT' esque and some of the humor is lost in translation but it didn't bother me one bit, because the illustrations and plotting are so vibrant

Lewdness: There is an overarching mind control dynamic behind the battle sex that is explored. I'm not a huge fan of that but it's done really well, running the gamut of sluts, resistant virgins, innocents, etc., a few really tickled my fancy. And there's SO MANY scenes. A lazier game would have reused the same CGs over and over but not only does this game not do that, it's extremely ANIMATED and high quality. With a ton of girls. Wow.

Only bad part is too much x-ray with no way to turn off.

Game: This is the lewdest part: The game plays exactly like the Pokemon RPG. It's high quality enough to actually trick my brain. The world really is large and rich. The music, characters, pacing, there's even 151 Yarimon. So the game triggers your childhood memory and perverts it at every turn.. Your trainers, your Nurse Joys, Jennys, gym leaders, etc., everything gets along nicely then is CORRUPTED from what you knew as a kid. It's incredible.

10/10 a required play especially if you played Pokemon as a kid

This game, which I didn't expect much from, is absolutely amazing. You expect it to be an ordinary parody game, but behind it lies such a story... I completed the game 100% in normal mode, including the DLC, without using the cheat tackle except once when you have to at the start of the game. And I enjoyed every second of it.

-I think the biggest thing where the game stands out is its story. As I said at the beginning, it has a truly unexpected and beautiful story. Plot twists, turning points... They were all beautiful. Of course, the story does not appear at every point in the game, but when it does, it does a truly magnificent job. I liked every part of the story. You will get much more than a simple story.

-Gameplay. It's a classic RPGM combat with a little something more added to it. It's not spectacular, but it's good enough. If you fight the characters one by one according to your level and progress in a proper order, you won't have much difficulty. (Of course, this is for the people who don't use the cheat tackle, the game is extremely easy if you use it) In Postgame the game really gets a little difficult. It takes a little strategy and using the necessary items...

-Scenes and art. I absolutely loved the art. It has its own unique style and its pretty good. The scenes are also pretty good, and on top of that, they're animated. Of course.. animations are a little different. But in a good way, at least for me. In my opinion, the only bad thing is the extremely low variety in the scenes until the postgame. Almost all of them are vaginal sex. There's some variety in the postgame and DLC scenes though.

enough to give a connection and make a meaningful "Ero" action without making it a simple hypno game

The ticket game was amazing, and this is beyond that, cant wait what's to come, looking forward for this dev's next game

Story is one of the best I've seen in h-games.
Difficulty is optional thanks to cheat tackle.
Sex scenes were pretty decent,
But I do wish some characters got more scenes.

Pretty excited for when dlc2 comes out.

Came for "plot", stay for plot.
Solid gameplay, nostalgia certain game that everyone used to play.
Scenes are above average, not that great but still work for me.
Story is, for the lack of words, captivate me with how fresh the take on this kind of world settings. Never have I eager for story than for H-scenes.

I don't normally leave reviews for the H-Games I play, but this is a first for me, so yeah. Anyways, Review.

Gameplay:
Solid. Very easy to understand and get a grasp on. Had problems here and there but overall it was fun and easy. 5/5.

Story:
Without going into spoilers, it was surprisingly great. I didn't really expect such a good story to come out of the game, but boy did it deliver from start to end. 5/5.

Characters/Scenes:
I have my personal favorites, but overall it was enjoyable. Though, there could be more scenes for some characters I liked more, I won't complain since it was all pretty satisfying. 5/5.

Probably one of the few smut games i played where i sometimes wished the porn would end faster so i could get back to the game proper. A masterpiece, if you're not playing this you're missing out on one hell of an experience, 10/10.

Excellent game. If you ever wanted to play a legitimate pokemon game with porn, it doesn't get close than this.

Everything is 10 out of 10 for this game. The only issue would be how ugly the main character is, but is not that big of a deal at the end.

I have a few minor gripes with the game, but can't justify anything but 5 stars given the sheer amount of effort and dedication to the genre on display.

First thing to note: this is a legitimate game.

Sure it's a parody, and not every system is entirely fleshed out, but there are 151 unique mons and 60+ characters with scenes. A huge undertaking.

But what surprised me the most was the solid backstory. The game didn't need anything really (it could have just been set in some vaguely pokemonish world and not take itself seriously), but they went the extra mile and it pays off.

Gameplay wise, my only real issue was the mons' level factor playing too large a part in damage calculations, making typing matter a lot less than it should. Other than this, it has a great system for collecting, some improvements over even modern day pokemon, and even a few new mechanics. It was very fun working out a way to progress early on without using the 'cheat' move more than the one forced time.

Scene-wise, despite the huge number of characters, things do end up a bit samey in content. Not that animations are really reused or anything (again: serious effort made). Just that the devs seem to have one thing in mind and they stick to it.

Overall though, easily one of the best games on this site. It's rare that you get a game that is both fun to play and has copious amounts of content at the same time.

For a H-game this game has great story, lots and frequent H-content as well as an ingame "cheat" that removes basically all the grind a pokemon-esque game typically requires. Honestly, the only complaint I have is that the characters tend to be on the younger side more often than not which I suppose is more a matter of taste than anything else. Anyway, highly recommended, for the story if nothing else.

Amazing game which will keep you busy with an interesting story which keeps you curious till the ending, gameplay resembling early "pokemon" games without any grinding and a new H-scene every 5 minutes of gameplay. It takes around 5-8 hours to complete the game if you play fast and don't spend a whole lot of time on watching H-scenes. Overall one of the best RPGM games on this site.

H-Scenes: plenty with huge variety and all of them are high quality with sounds and good dialogue. H-Scenes with "main" girls have more character to them and all of them are well done with plenty of buildup and story.

Story: Didn't expect a good story going into this game but the story is pretty good for an H-game, it is strong enough to stand on it's own without the H-scenes.

Gameplay: It's pretty good, there is an "easy/cheat" mode in the game for those who just want to get to the H-scenes, while the gameplay on normal mode is not grindy and has tons of quality of life changes over the regular monster collecting genre. The fights are not hard at all and there is nearly no need to think when building teams or preparing for boss fights, you can brute force through all bosses in the main game if you battle every trainer. There is also a battle tower like area in the game for those who want to explore the game mechanics more and not use the "cheat" move. I haven't played the battle tower so can't comment on it's balance/fun.

Can fap to the end of time with this collection, lol. The H scenes kept me going until the end, and boy do they DELIVER. Most of the battles are pretty easy even without cheat tackle, except the last one and DLC content, those were tough. Can't believe this is my first pokemon experience, not complaining one bit though. 10/10 experience.

Now if you'll excuse me, those H scenes are not gonna watch themselves. Did I mention how great those are, because they are THAT great.

Story 5/5 - Despite this being an h-game, it actually has a deep backstory with a genuine threat to humanity, and it isn't overly-complicated. I didn't even come into this game expecting a story beyond "have sex with everyone", so this was a pretty cool surprise. There's also a lot of humor throughout the game.

Characters 5/5 - There are a TON of girls in this game (over 60), yet every single one has her own personality. There are 2 rivals in this game, and they both outshine almost every rival I've seen in official Pokemon games (no Blue/Gary clone, sadly!). Once you beat a girl, her dialogue towards you changes, sometimes from unlocking new fetishes she acquired during the scenes, so I guess they all have character development?

Gameplay 5/5 -
A) There are 151 Yarimon, with a handful that are one-of-a-kind in hidden areas. Catching them is pretty straightforward, since you don't need to worry about RNG in this game. Just use the capture item, and knock them out. Perfect for me, since I've never been a fan of the horrendous catch RNG in Pokemon.
B) There are a ton of trainers to battle in this game, and each victory will raise your "Trainer Level" by 1. Your team's levels cannot go higher than your trainer level, so assuming you aren't using Cheat Tackle or items to breeze through the game, there will be some extent of strategy required to beat tougher opponents.
C) There is a glossary for both Yarimon and female trainers (Yariman). Both of these glossaries tell you exactly where and how to find what you're looking for, so you don't need to worry about wandering around confusedly.
D) There is post-game content that includes more h-scenes AND more challenges.

Music 4/5 - The music's alright. Some of it is just regular RPGMaker music that I've already heard hundreds of times. There were a few bangers in the soundtrack, but none of them really stood out that much, and they are ultimately all forgettable. You also acquire a jukebox in post-game, so if any of the songs DID stand out, you'll have the option to listen to them again.

Porn 5/5 - First off, I'm not a fan of the way they did X-Rays in this game, and I'm especially not a fan of the fact that you can't toggle them off and on. With that out of the way, this game has a ton of really well-made h-scenes. The artwork is great, the animations are great, and the dialogue is great. Some of the girls only have one scene, but I have a feeling that the DLC's will eventually give every girl at least one more.

tl;dr One of the best Pokemon-style games I've ever played, with an exceptional story, gameplay, and porn. The developer poured their heart and soul into this game, and it shows. One of the easiest 5's I've ever given on this site.

They can reach people of all types, not just those with big breasts and expect all men to like them.There is even support for those who like the shit and riding scene, which can cater to a wide range of people in terms of style, preference, or arousal.It's another kind of fun to play a hentai game like Pokemon.I really like this studio, especially the character artwork. I have to admit that the paintings are very beautifully drawn.When characters have sex, there is no X-ray system to see inside the vagina, but the developers still draw it so that you can see inside.But there might be some things that are not to your liking, such as wanting to see many angles but not being able to see the parts of the characters' bodies during sex that we want to see.✌

great game with a forced story. really fun po***mon game LOL. also has forced balancing by having your max level be on how many trainers you've beaten. some of the quests/h scene was a bit tedious and the rng of the po***mons spawn really annoys you especially when a few po***mons spawn on some random bush in some area only and the other bushes near it spawn different set of pokemon to screw with you. at least the dex tells you the area where they spawn....

At first I dint like the Ui the art and the gameplay, but I decided to give it another chance and it started growing on me until I really really liked it.
The story and the animations are excellent this game is clearly a work of passion (reading through the dev notes at the end confirmed it)
The only thing I would like its if they made the X-ray in almost every scene optional as I didnt really like it.

It is surprinsingly a great game. I wasn't expecting it to be that good.

Tons of animated sex scenes with multiple girls everywhere, "pokemons" have their own evolution and the battle system is very good.

This is a game that worths the grinding as well. Deserves 5 stars.

They had no business making such a great game out of nowhere. Actually impressed.
Game is good, lots of art, different creatures with descriptions, etc, even in-game doujins so randomly.
Only thing to complain is the weird level difference that sometimes appears, and that you can't seem to grind with wild yarimons, you have to level the MC too fighting other trainers, so you have to find enemies that are suited for your level (correlated with the other complaint). Not that big of a deal since it's not a slow game.
Obvious 5 star, enjoy this great game.
