RPGM - Completed - Yarimon Master: Using Cheats to Fuck 'em All! [v3.08+DLC Fix] [Bosom Studio]

A Pokemon parody where you can choose whether you want to grind normally or use an OP power attack. If you win against female trainers, you have get to have sex with them. Pretty basic stuff with none of the kinks I like (pregnancy, bestiality, incest.) The artwork is mediocre and doesn't float my boat at all. I also don't like lolis, so I guess this game is just not for me.

While the gameplay itself isn't terrible, why not just play Pokemon instead?

This game is mediocre at best. I liked the art style and music but everything else was just bad or average. Story was kind of interesting (at least the dream sequences) and combat was very easy and boring. The sex scenes were not very good at all. Generally speaking this game can be easily skipped.

this is just my personal review of the game the game is pretty generic you beat the gals and have sex with em level up beat stronger enemies it is all ok the only thing that doesnt sit right with me is the ugly mc and splashy artstyle

You pay for the arts more than the game.
But the stories will keep you up long enough to finish the game.

I would recommend at least a playthrough the game if you enjoy pokemon, but there are some fetishes in the game that are not for the common taste. These can be skipped over.

CG is a lot and good. But there is not much emotional line with the heroine, which makes the story of the game very thin. Combat lacks depth and is not very challenging. The male protagonist is ugly. Of course, these shortcomings are based on the fact that the game is a good work, and I just don't think it lives up to the rating of a masterpiece.

A parody of pokemon and sex, the characters you met are all passionate trainers which you just want to trample over their ego and move on. The real cheat skill isn't what you have as an mc, its what the game tells you about the danger level indicator (lol). Simple enough, you just gotta level sufficiently and beat them up.

The game got alot of diverse yarimon to test out but you'll eventually swap more often than saving through a specific loadout, which appears to be a flawed leveling system imo.

The world concept does not completely copies pokemon but it has its own lore, which is fun and often amusing, but not interesting in regards to the length of the protagonist's journey. The interaction with each girls always felt too shallow as if the only topic they could come up with are either battle-headed or seggs, after that, the mc just smile and move on with life. Though the pacing does eventually unites all character at one point but I felt like this approach could've have longer plots. I guess the lolies and animated black and white scenes are a plus?

The pokemon-like elements are great: they show you each monster's type and weakness, so you don't have to remember the type charts, the status effects remind you of their effects when they're applied, there's different difficulties that range from trivial to difficult, allowing for player preference. The art and animation are fine, some scenes in the later game include voice acting, which is nice, but there are too many characters who either are children or look like children.

Fun game play, interesting story and good spacing between scenes. Art is great but sometimes is a bit strange regarding placement of anatomy. Also weird x-ray that is not toggle-able.

Game play is pretty good as mentioned but even on the 'normal' mode there isn't really any challenge and mostly just requires you to grind to level up, I never really had to consider the different types of yarimons in my lineup and plan ahead to be able to defeat anyone.

Translation is quite poor which if you are really into reading everything can distract from the scenes.

As mentioned above art is great, interesting style with only the gripes from above.

Tons of scenes which is very nice especially since they come pretty often!

Would recommend to almost anyone unless you hate pokemon type games (although this game is easy enough that you don't really need to manage your mons)

This is my first try Rating a game, so i hope i do this correctly.

Absolutely stunning Art with enough length and story to back the sex scenes.
For me the Game should offer a mode that is a little tougher, because after some exploring you are simply overleveled.

Let me start by saying what a fantastic game this is. From the great art and fluid animation to the compelling story and intuitive game play, it’s in almost all aspects amazing.

For a game that at first appears to be a typical Pokémon knock off, it surprisingly good at streamlining the overall concept and even improves and add a bunch of QOL features the originals don’t have. The game can be a nice challenge or a walk in the park depending on what the player wants.

The H-scenes are all amazing animated and pretty diverse with a plethora of different girls, body types, kinks and positions. The writing is stellar, making each girl feel unique and memorable even when some only get a few lines of dialogue. With the 2 DLC adding almost double the content of the base game there really is so much content to enjoy.

There are some things about the game I didn’t personally like. The sheer amount of x-ray scenes or that having a larger roster resulted in fewer scenes for each girl was a bit irritating. But truthfully, these are minor gripes when all things are considered.

One of the best game I have played, though, it's not like I have played much game. The game is interesting with good story, and I like this art style (?). I would love to play more similar games, though I really hope the game would give people near end game a map, it took me half an hour after the ending to 100% just because I have no idea where the hideouts are

Pros
Lots of different girls with a variety of different scenes and erotic situations.
Solid Pokemon clone gameplay with a lot of different mons to catch.
Decent story with a satisfying conclusion.

Neutral:
The English translation could be better, so if dialogue in story and scenes is extremely important to you, then this could be a con.

Con:
The X-ray vision should really be something you can toggle off. To me the way it's drawn is fairly off-putting and it's in the vast majority of scenes.

Overall it's a very solid Pokemon clone game that I would highly recommend for fans of this style of game.

I mean not much to add, read the other more nuanced ratings, the gameplay is great, has some qol that i wished newer pokemon games had even like the showing of available captured mons in a grassy are, the story also was a solid 9/10, at least for a porn game, even compared to all games in general i would say solid 6 or 7, the beginning and middles parts where hard to get through and basically skippable but the climax until the end were solid and actually gave a neat and proper ending to the game and for that it i say it scores pretty high, i can name several high budget games were they fall flat with the ending. Others probably would have wanted a gloomier and more serious ending but its a porn game and im hear for the cranks not the feels. Oh and of course the sex scenes are good, and plenty as well though yeah would have wanted more scenes with the main girls, or at least the ones you are closest with.

I remember enjoying the unique twist on the level up system.
The H-content, however, is to be desired.
The scenes and internal view look to me like the designer never experienced the real thing.
Another missed opportunity is the Mons design. This game could have been amazing if the Mons themselves were sexy.
As is, it's a good game from a gameplay perspective but missed the mark when it comes to the H-content, in my opinion.

For Pokémon clones, there are a variety of arguably better options outside the H-category.

The game is very well done and very well created. I was binged to play it around 3 days and I finally finished it included the DLCS. The lore and the gameplay is on the spot, No shot I'm playing the game while watching the Norway live chess 2025. But goddamn it is an very fun ride. Maki and Hikari was my favorite, including leo. Big <3 to the devs nice game

Basically Pokemon but with a couple hundred dirty scenes.
Worth playing, I enjoyed collecting and evolving everything. In my opinion, the story on the Yarimon was actually pretty interesting and you do develop a bond with some of the earlier characters.

Many scenes, all or almost all animated. The amount of content in this game definitely puts many others to shame. Considering this is their second game (that I'm aware of) that has accomplished this, I'm watching eagarly for their next projects based on this alone. Only reason I'm not giving 10 points in this catagory is because sometimes I feel that the dev sacrifices scenes with multiple perspectives in favor of many more scenes with different characters entirely, and I would prefer a few more scenes where the positions were switched and perhaps some more foreplay, but it can hardly be faulted when the breadth of content is what makes this game truly shine in the first place.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of pokemon style games, so I'll keep this relatively brief other than to say that even playing on the easiest difficulty where you can skip every battle, I found myself enjoying the process of collecting all of the Yarimon and occasionally not using the insta-win move just to try my hand at the battles. My guess is that people who enjoy this sort of thing will really enjoy that portion, because even I can tell a good amount of effort went into making it. The other half, actually exploring and finding all the events is also very good, mostly due to their being ingame list and hints for all the scenes. I've played quite a few RPGM games, and I tend to hate them with a passion, because it feels like the developers give no thought to including QoL stuff like moving via the mouse or easy control schemes in general, but in this game I had no issues, and you can tell that the dev spent a good chunk of the time trying to reduce the friction whenever the mechanics bump up against anything else.

Story: 9/10
I really did not have high expectations going into this game. Considering the premise, I wouldn't have thought it possible to make the story convincing enough to be immersive but that's exactly what the dev has managed to do. The dialogue and exposition are woven together pretty well, and it managed both to make me feel something and also wonder about what might happen next several times during the main story. There are obviously characters and events that serve no purpose to the narrative and only exist for the art, but I doubt anyone really cares about that considering the website we find ourselves on.

TLDR: Lots of well put together content in an approachable, enjoyable format results in easily one of if not the best RPGM games I've played. 5/5 stars.

An honestly surprising upgrade from the previous game, I was not expecting such much higher level of effort to be put into it.



Gameplay

Pokemon, that's it, even if you haven't played it you should know what its like.
Originally, i thought the game would be harder, but then you realize that just isnt the case.
While the base idea is good, the difference between yarimons is incredibly insignificant, there is a very small pool of moves which they end up sharing, and there are only a few types.
Now i know the game has 'cheats' in the name, but the cheat tackle is too much, atleast if they wanted to develop a balanced game. Imo, they could've done it differently, make a series of smaller cheats, or make the tackle weaker, even if its only once per battle, having a gurantee kill button on atleast one yarimon breaks the balance completely.
It ends up turning all the art and back stories for the yarimon useless if its all trivialized by such a thing.
I guess its up to preference, i wished it was a more balanced and harder game.

Story

Surprising, but cliche.
It's an upgrade, dont get me wrong, but it taking itself seriously is actually the wrong move here.
The finale feels exciting, but is quite shallow once yo peel back the layers.
The characters are also copies of the ones from the previous games? Like im not kidding, some of them are entirely the same just in a diff world, it feels incredibly cheap.
It has a better story than you average coomslop, let's just end it with that.

Art

It's been upgraded, atleast I believe so, not by a long shot, but the improvement is there. If you're a fan of the original artist, you're going to like it. Otherwise it's a decenish artstyle that you're able to enjoy

H game elements

Lacking. while there are alot of cgs, the set up, depth, and variation isn't compared to the first game. Alot of the scenes are purely penetration content. There is some sm stuff and the occasional piss kink, but the previous game managed to cast a very wide net that appealed to almost everyone.
Of course though, if you enjoy the hyponsis element of it, that's really all you need, it's executed just as well as the last game
