It is a good stratI just figured out some kinda broken strat. Not sure how broken but it is kinda overpowered. For DLC2, I got Goopcake. First move Hyper Toxic Liquid and then switch yarimon to Gellen to Angel kiss, zen mind, mirror strike and sweep their entire team. 3rd Yarimon could be a filler Yarimon or Chikeflare. I spammed this on every tournament and got very far. Only downside is against 1st yarimon that are immune to statuses, but that can just be countered by switching Yarimon.
Goopcake Hyper Toxic Liquid basically OHKO whatever it hits with DoT over 2 turns and stun
Gelien is a snowball unit, so stacking buffs from all that can sweep easily
I recommend the 3rd unit to be a Soft Body Tank like Chikeflare or Brachily who can absorb those DoT that would be fatal to Goopcake or Gelien
It's very similar to my team, I use Chikeflare, Gelien and then Shadoom who can also DoT stack, but can self heal and remove enemy buffs if they try to snowball with Gelien/Tangleplant/Moostar
I think the Endgame is very Rock-Paper-Scissor with 3 types of essential roles between Snowball, Soft Body and DoT:
Snowball > Dot > Soft Body Tank > Snowball > etc
DoT puts a clock on snowball units, preventing them from snowballing
DoT can't put DoT on Soft Body tanks and often lose the 1 v 1, especially Chikeflare
Soft Body tanks loses to Snowball units when they snowball their buffs out of hand
