RPGM - Completed - Yuri & Claire - Balancing Love and Betrayal! [1.1_MOD1] [Nitoowa]

Okay, the game is really good. I think the gameplay depends on the person; you might like it more or less, but I can't deny that I enjoyed it.

So, why don't I give it 4 or 5 stars? Well, basically for the following reasons, and I want to clarify that much of this is subjective:
- The design doesn't quite convince me. While I like the women's curvy figures, Yuri's breasts seem a bit too big to me, while Claire's are perfect. And MY REAL PROBLEM is the following:

- The size of Leor's penis is ridiculously exaggerated. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind that the guy has a big penis, the problem is that it's the size of an adult man's arm, man. The double blowjob scene seemed horrendous to me because the exaggeration of the penis is idiotic, plus the thickness, which is more than half the size of the girls' heads. So much so that when they're giving blowjobs, you can clearly see the penis getting deformed, hahaha.

-Several scenes are repeated. Although I must admit I have mixed feelings about this. Sometimes it seemed like a waste to see the same pose we just saw, but in other quick scenes it's fine. Well, the story is long and somewhat compensates with the dialogue and varied situations.

-Leor is pure garbage. Look, I know netorare characters aren't exactly likable, but this guy is, for me, THE WORST KIND OF NETORARE GUY. I mean, the kind who, instead of focusing on humiliating the girl, focuses on humiliating the boyfriend, and even worse, spouting sappy, pathetic, hot-boy-protagonist dialogue. I know it was to deceive them, but god, I found the guy unbearable. And of course, it was obvious we were going to get the typical boyfriend-humiliation ending, which, meh, at least they saved it for last.

That would be the main point, but getting a little more picky, I'd say I missed an ending where Claire, unable to resist lust, ends up freeing the guards and maybe running away with them, or perhaps the option of the guards ending up with both of them, not like the demon's ending, but like Leor's.

Anyway, I'm rambling on. The game itself is good and I'll wait for the next one from its developer, but, although objectively it's good, unfortunately it falls short in terms of personal taste.

Simple premise but really enjoyable NTR story, two girls in love with MC get stolen away by playboy for reasons outside MC's control. I wish they did more with the mind control after the middle part, but that's my own personal taste.

I basically liked everything about it but the art. The artstyle is really goofy IMO, especially anything involving breasts or cum. But they did a lot to make up for that with TONS of different animations and CGs. Overall great for NTR-lovers, I'll probably replay it sometime for fun, unless I find something similar with art more my style.

-sub theme: mind control (i dont like mind control plot, but this one somehow is done well, and i like it)
4 endings (to get worst NTRending (NTR'ed), just play the game casually, and pretty sure u will get if u dont focus relationship with one girl)

top tier ntr,one of the best rpgm animation,it's 2d with animation as someone who can't stand 3d porn games this was huge,didn't play many games with it.

just wish there was a route where mc stop being a micro penis character can't take it seriously lol just makes me laugh which made the game easier to digest since i'm not a huge ntr fan(just like forced sex/rough).

i only played with yuri route as the ntr target and i got happy ending(if you can call that) and i can't bother replay with the boring gameplay of walk walk walk and avoid mobs,should be an option to skip dungeon for replayability

Awesome game with great story. Antagonists are well made, no ugly bastards. MC strong, but little bit naive, but with circumstances where he becomes weaker and hypnosis nothing he can do while making way for antagonists to corrupt girls. Because MC couldn't do much and with so small ''weapon'' you could pity him, but not much, just enough for you to push with excitment in ntr route which is hot animated with sound effects and moans.

I only did 1 and almost another playthrough; however, the game softlocked me, and I have no idea why. I tried going everywhere, interacting with anything and anyone, but nothing made me continue. I later decided to uninstall, but either way, I will give my review now.


The game's art is wonderful, and the animation is just good.


From what I could tell, there are multiple endings, and you can finish one with one girl or the other, have both at the end, or have them both go with the other guy, Leor, your rival. I did the one with both girls with you, and I liked it since I felt fulfilled. But one thing I don't really like is how unrealistically the characters act. Rick (the protagonist) would be furious if someone touched his girlfriend, but the game just makes him the "loser" type that just doesn't want to do anything and he just lets most things slide, which I suppose is the intention and the girls sometimes act a bit too easy on the men.


Personally, I don't really like NTRs much because they make me feel like a piece of crap, which is probably one of the reasons why I made the previous statements, but this game has a good story and it does the NTR in a really good way. I would say it is good even if you don't like NTR much.


I do like hypnosis though and the game does do that well; the characters act realistic after they come out of it and the hypnosis itself is made well with the characters' interaction and world/story logic.


Gameplay-wise, there is not much; it's mostly going around auto-killing monsters and then actually fighting bosses like every regular RPG MV, so that part is not so special, but that still doesn't exclude the story from being good.

In conclusion, I would say to give it a go and see if you like it yourself!

One of my top NTR games of 2023, and one of my fav NTR games of all time. An underrated gem of a game.

As is part of the game's very title, developer Nitowa truly struck the perfect balance between love and betrayal. The game is a massively fun playground offering a real challenge to those seeking a love ending with the MC and offering tons of lewd pleasures for those indulging in the NTR.

Lots of things have been said about the game in other reviews (and you can safely ignore the 1-star trolls unless you hate NTR), thus I want to keep this review short and focus on something else: The balancing.

It's perfect.

For fans of numbers enjoying a battle of affection ratings between the MC and the bull, the mechanics are as satisfying as possible. The decisions made each ingame day and night all affect the stats, and it's immense fun trying to "save" a girl or balance love & NTR just enough for the MC to stand a chance.

It's even fun to try and play perfectly, boosting the girls' love for the MC as much as possible with successful dates and loads of presents just to then give Leor (the rival) an opening in the game's second half and watch all the hard work be undone thrust for deep thrust as Leor literally plows the affection into the girl's tight pussies.

If this battle between "giving it your best vs big dick undoing it all" excites you as an NTR fan: The game couldn't be any better.

The replayability is immense just for that aspect alone. You could do a run focusing only on Yuri or only on Claire, or a run focusing on love in the game's first half and allowing the betrayal in the second half, or vice-versa having Yuri "train" with Leor in the first half and then try not to lose Claire too in the second half, etc etc. It's so much fun to experiment (there's even a "hidden" bad ending in the 2nd half when losing too much MP as Yuri, just as a hint to those who want to check it out).

Personal rating:

• 10/10 Best balance of love and NTR
• 10/10 Best playground/replayability
• 10/10 Thicc girls vs fat dick(s)
• 10/10 Best girl Claire (very subjective, but I love her character and design)
• 10/10 NTR without rape or hypnosis, just pure skill and virility (Leor's second half of the game)

Negatives:

• All of the endings are a bit on the weaker side. Judging from the game files, the dev had planned different / more endings, including one in which Yuri gives the MC a magic spying tool for him to peep on her and Claire having sex with Leor, and an ending in which the MC receives a video message from Yuri, Claire and Leor showcasing their deep love.
• The reminiscence room doesn't have all scenes. Some can only be accessed/seen during the playthrough itself.

Full recommendation to all fans of NTR, big breasts, sexual harassment, corruption and battles of affection/stats. Also recommended to fans of hypnosis, though the game's second half keeps things hypnosis-free, in a way that's written very nice and makes for a great twist.

Can also recommend the dev's first game, which has similar themes and can be found as "An insensitive brave and an all-you-can-eat female knight" here on f95.

Despite not having the best art, the story itself is really good, and surprised me with it's length. Lots of scenes to see, and not muddled by grinding.
Both female protagonists are cute, and the bastards are real bastards.
Big recommendation to any NTR fans.

Wasn't really expecting much of this game but I still played it and I wasn't disappointed. Art is good but the best here would be the corruption and the NTR.
You've got mind control corruption and"normal" one. Some scenes are really hot as well, the NTR aspect is heavy here.

Messy art, tedious gameplay, shitty mind control content, and an awful execution. Loads of grinding to get to the little drips of content and kinetic as hell. Its not worth the ~1000 megabytes it takes up. With so much praise expected WAY more out of this. And RPGmaker only makes things worse.
Download pics if you like this 7th grade "art style", but save your time and nerves - don't play this game!

Amazing NTR game. It's rare to see an Eroge RPG without too many unnecessary boring combats, like this one!

Very good art (with some animations) and pretty kinky NTR story.

The only reason I don't give max rating is probably because of personal preferences (I'm not really a fan of huge sized tits and hypnosis).

You start off as Rick an adventurer with is in league with two big breasted women, why Yuri and Claire of course!
One of the women will get hypnotized, while I am not a huge fan of hypnotizing content it's still very well done and it's only for one of the women and not throughout the whole game.
I would say that the game has three stages about, the initial one where they get slowly corrupted, the middle stages where it's full throttle insanity and the final stages where the true NTR begins.
This is true for how I played the game. How and when you complete the dungeon matters so it may differ a little on different playthroughs but I think mostly the ending will change, yet not sure.
My ending
The NTR scenes are just top notch! Especially last phase. Some reused art and animations but nothing that really bothered me.
If you like NTR then this game is a must!

Not much fighting in the game either, you can let your teammates clear the dungeon without you as well. Even if you do the fighting yourself I don't think there's an awful lot anyway.

This game really blew my expectation. I really didn't expect much and when I saw the gallery is already unlocked, i thought maybe i shud give this a skip. Thankfully i didn't. ( and thankfully it is a lazy Saturday )

In this hectic world, i really like the pace, fast, straight to the point and not draggy. The storyline is pretty basic, but the content is really top notch. The scene were amazing with big tits lady and the NTR is on point.

Absolute gem of a NTR game, it invents nothing but it does everything or almost perfectly. There's a big amount of content which is something that we see less and less, everytime I thought the story was coming to an end it kept on going. Very good variety in situations as well.

Slight weakness is the art but when there's so much I can understand that it can't be very very solid. Don't let it rebute you.

Very pleasant to see a dev jump so much in quality compared to his previous work, crossing fingers to have the same quality (and even better hopefully !) for the next one !

+ Good amount of playtime with several distinct 'chapters'

= Would like more control over who the heroines do or don't have sex with, but in context of the story I guess it makes sense
= Censored, though not as heavily as some games and to be fair sometimes uncensoring makes the art of games look worse

- No pregnancy
- Not a fan of absurdly large breasts
- Bit grindy at times. Not so much as a typical RPGM but just a lot of walking (there is a quick travel feature but it isn't translated) and a part where running out of health intentionally takes a minute or two each time

I'll admit I initially skipped this game because of the mind control tag and the character art on the blonde being out of proportion, but the game really made up for it in fantastic pacing and character development in corrupting the heroines.

One chick gets a soft sort of mind control on her, and the other ends up with a cliche 'have sex every 48 hours or die' curse. However neither of them go from 0-100 as you might expect, there is instead a slow and steady corruption of both ladies, and the mind control on the one chick is lifted in the last third or so of the game so the corruption can continue more naturally.

The CGs and animations are in my opinion of better quality than the standing art you see on the title screen, the art that you might have seen and decided to give the game a miss. I'm not saying the rest of the ingame art is orders of magnitude better, but I will say the redhead in particular looks great in her bikini, and the animated scenes were all hot.

Anyway I guess to summarize, there are a LOT of games on this site tagged with corruption, but very few actually do a proper job of it. Even with a bit of mind control on one of the ladies this game is still a far better corruption game than most games with the corruption tag here. If you like a slow corruption then give this game a try.

Finally an RPGM game I can play one handed!

Fapping jokes aside this was a blast, hot scenes with SFX and some animations, two hot heroines and a decent corruption story that made sense more than just "porn logic".

There's not much in a the way of gameplay (but are you really here for that?) and plays out more like a VN or Kinetic Novel, there are some choices to make but they seemed fairly inconsequential to me.

There are 5 endings and 3 of them feature extra scenes, it doesn't seem like there is much replay value here so I wouldn't worry about aiming for a particular ending and instead just watch the other endings in the recollection room.

My only criticism is that I would have liked an ending where the MC was aware and okay with being cucked, but that's just my kink so not a deal breaker here.

All and all a solid game and an excellent translation, if your a fan of NTR, corruption and big titties you'll enjoy this one!

Decent scenes and story but lackluster gameplay. It's a borderline VN since there's only a couple of choices to make and it's next to impossible to actually fail any of the objectives without trying to. The corruption is also kinda weak, it starts off alright but things go from 0-100 really quickly once you hit the midway point. Also while there are a decent number of scenes lots of them share CG with minor variations.
