2 stars instead of 1 just for the Viva la Dirt League quote (fisherman at first town) but it's classic RPGM slop.
If not for AI pics you could easily think it's a 15-20 y.o. demo, still it shows some kind of basic effort so maybe i'll retry it in 4-5 or so updates and possibly change the review.
IMO, unless some kind of battle gimmick or scenario are planned, dev needs to drop the engine and make it a VN, or even an HTML, because in 2025 barebone RPGM combat and exploration feel like YT ads...
