same here, never had a crash

What I have are 2 problems:

- I'm playing, I go eat something an hour later I come back, and the game windows says black. I can walk around, I can hear that I walk around, I can press escape. But I don't see anything.

- The second problem was, I was playing for a few hours without saving, and then I walk into a room, and I hear I'm walking around, but the screen is the previous room, and isn't updated anymore.


I have a suggestion, it could be te new 4K monitors I have. I cannot remember that many crashes in the past. (But except for extremely slow stupid unity games, that feel the need to start in fullscreen with full 3D animation, I never had any problems with other games.)
I think it was Alvein, it has the option to press the S key, it rebuild the screen. This could help also. (I didn't have problems with Alvein, but that S option was exactly for the problem I seem to have with Zombie Retreat + Town of Passion + Zombie's Life. Al be it, zombie's life has a lot of other problems).

Beta 0.10 introduces the first holiday event for Zombie's Retreat 2, starting with Halloween!

A spooky new district has been discovered in Crimson City and upon visiting, you run into some familiar faces with special
new outfits. What could Meredith and Fiona have planned for the night? Whatever it is, it's sure to keep you busy trying
to please them both!

To experience this event, there is a temporary NPC just below your house who will take you to the event. In a future update
accessing the event will be handled in an entirely different manner so expect this to change.

Well if you had the same problem with A Zombies Life then it is something on your end. That was made by a different dev. So it is for sure something on your side.

You're not wrong about the fact that it's a probable problem on his end, but you are totally wrong about your reasoning why!
It's not because "A Zombies Life" is made by a different dev, it's because "A Zombies Life" is made with completely different RPG Maker engine.

If you often experience freezing in RMMV games (games made with RPG Maker MV), like for example here "Zombie's Retreat" and "Zombie's Retreat 2: Gridlocked" and also "Town of Passion" (all of them are RMMV games).
You should look at this thread here.

But if you also are experiencing freezes in other RPG Maker Games (that are made with RPG Maker XP, VX or VX Ace) or games in general then the problem could be more serious.
Investigating various hardware driver issues is a good troubleshooting start in that case (generally you start troubleshooting software side runtimes then drivers and then move to hardware).

It was the same problem with those games. A Zombie's Life had different problems because of fullscreen etc, but I fixed that. I read the thread did some installs, and gone try the zombie' retreat 2 new update now....

It was the same problem with those games. A Zombie's Life had different problems because of fullscreen etc, but I fixed that. I read the thread did some installs, and gone try the zombie' retreat 2 new update now....

About that thread and the main culprit with RMMV freezing...
It's this line in "www/js/rpg_core.js" file:

 if (this._skipCount === 0)

which should be changed to:

 if (this._skipCount < 0)

i personaly change it to:

 if (this._skipCount <= 0)

(to keep parity with original code more or less)

And his problem is related to the game or to be more specific he is experiencing problems with RMMV games (which is common enough problem), because many game developers often don't update the engines core files and don't apply many of community engine fixes before releasing their games!

P. S. I'm blunt in general I don't practice fancy speak, I have very technical/specific/task driven thought process (but I'm not trying to be rude or insulting and I try to not throw around derogative terms or slurs).

Any one any idea how to finished 'A Ghoulish Mystery' quest? I mean I got the orb to light up and placed it on the grave. I went to every door to get the candy.

But that one quest stays open...

No offense but for the PC version you are the only one I have heard about who has these consistent crashes. Does the game give you an error message or just completely crash?

Even with Online Save edit that would brake most games, never ran in to a crash that broke the game. Also, always save often in Betas, the finished games, never had an issue, Siren does good work 85% of the time, (15% bc of deadlines pushed back etc. (but also respect to them letting us know beforehand vs just not releasing the new version), and having too much on their plate slows all the games down imo, but the game updates are usually pretty good.

Get a cheap PC, heck even a Sandy Bridge Intel i3 can run this game... They should be chap enough around the world...

I've modded, edited, and even tried to crack most of Siren's games, they are well built and perform well on PCs.

Just invest in a PC with a reasonable build path instead of playing porn games on your android phones.

The issue was with your ps. I don't have an issue with giving a more specific reason to the problem or even correcting me. If that PS wasn't there I wouldn't have had any issue at all. I wasn't trying to be dismissive of his issue. I was just trying to point out that it looks like his issue wasn't exclusive to games made by the dev.

As I said before I wasn't trying to solve his issue. Just pointing out that it is not exclusive to the game. Which would imply something going on with his computer. What that I don't know. I won't pretend that I do.

If he has a 4K Monitor that would be an issue if it was activated for those games.

It's a bug.

The script call in Map090.json for the event 56 should be "Script("Galv.QUEST.complete(17);")", instead of the current "Script("Galv.QUEST.complete(16);")".

If he is experiencing one specific quirk of RMMV engine which is more or less known in community although admittedly it seems to be not very widespread (but some people are experiencing it since ~2017 as evidenced in this thread here).
It has nothing to do with his monitor.
It's related to the way rendering pipeline is coded in RMMV.
In some instances (I don't know if it's specifically PC exclusive problem or not, I've experienced this problem on two out of my three PC builds) the Graphics class's Graphics._skipCount property goes into negatives and the way the engine is written it can't recover from that and starts to skip all the frames.
I don't remember experiencing this problem on my older build:

Some games even include plugins to tackle this issue, but many games don't address this issue at all.
