Unity - Something Unlimited [v2.4.8] [Gunsmoke Games]

I REALLY want to leave a higher rating, but I cannot for the life of me because of how bad the actual gameplay is. Most of the game has inherent, fundamental flaws in its game design almost like it's designed to be as frustrating and tedious as possible for the player to slog through. I must be missing something because this is not a fun game in the slightest.

UI Screens

• This is where most of the issues lie. since this is a UI simulator. The amount of extra clicks you have to do to play the game is an absolute chore to play.
• The process of having to click the reset button every single time for any edits is mildly annoying at worst. Give the option to just click once to make a character occupy an empty slot or let the player be able to drag and drop on an already existing character.
• There are many screens (hire villains, create device) where it doesn't show how much money you have when trying to spend.
• The main screen over the city should have the names of the locations already on the screen, or at least highlighted to make them distinguishable, none of which is in the game. You eventually learn over time where everything is, but the fact that it's not already distinguishable is baffling game design.
• You cannot replace a character slot for anything if there's already someone there. You have to click reset every time which gets annoying.
• You have to click confirm first to see the success percentage of an operation (heists, capture, etc). Just add it to the actual screen to reduce unnecessary clicks.
• In order to see what you get for upgrading a facility you have to actually upgrade it first. Bold decision.

Other Frustrating Elements

• Villain hire is a nightmare and repetitive for no reason. With how much you need to hire villains to do anything, give me a better and more accessible menu to recruit them from, or at least reduce the amount of clicks if I want to hire 2 or more villains at once.
• Why do I have to reset a character's progress if I want to put them back into business? Idk
• The gallery is just bad and needs more options, at least the option with text.

There's a lot of passion and care the developer made in the images and dialogue with how much there is, but it's abundantly clear the care was put into that and not making an actual good game first, which I cannot get behind. I could go even more into the flaws with this game just at a design perspective and I hope these issues get addressed, because I really do want to like and support this game. This is perhaps the worst management game I've ever played and most of it can be fixed with basic fundamental game design.

The way this game is build is very good, and sure some events are not yet finished, or for way too long in process, but I love it.
If you have the time and energy... please do consider working on Roulette's plot a bit more that part is unfinished, or I am too dumb to find out about some content there.

I had many doubts about what score I would give this game, if 3 or 4 stars, in the end I opted for 4 stars, because although it has things that subtract a lot, the average has seemed better.

The game is very good, with a lot of content but has serious interface and accessibility problems, there is no options menu, variety of languages, music, sound... The save files do not indicate where you have saved and where not, the gallery is not very intuitive, to find a specific scene you must try several times in different options...

In the H section, there is a huge amount of varied and high quality images, but there is no animation or sound.

On the other hand, it is seen that the developers are gradually leaving aside the game, although officially it is not abandoned, what you can see at first glance seems to lead you to think that it will be so, as of today, they have already been 1 year without adding anything, they are with other games or separating this one in others, it is strange.

With everything mentioned, it is a game that I highly recommend, although I hope the developers improve these sections, because they can make it a 5 star game perfectly.

I give this game a 7.0 out of 10.

The characters are perfectly drawn to replicate the art style, there is amazing scenes and Lex Luthor is a bad ass. The story is fun and interesting and I highly recommend this peak.

I remember years ago when I was a horny high schooler and a big DC fan, I considered this game the best thing ever,
but looking at the state of the game now makes me really sad,
the developer doesn't care anymore, I am not even sure if it's the same developer.
Updates take longer, the quality of art keeps getting worse, gameplay is still boring, grindy and repetitive, the UI is awful, sex scenes are mostly just one image and the girls that were the reason I supported this game all look now like bimbo blow-up dolls.
The only answer from the developer to criticism is " " emoji because he couldn't care less as long as his simps keep throwing money at him, shame on everyone who still supports this game and shame on you Gunsmoke Games.

Overrated. This game seems a huge missed opportunity with a sound concept but lazy and dumb implementation. This game is just a fan-made parody game with lousy mechanics and dumb stories. Yes, it's not a bad idea to have the female superheroes in a porn game but each story and game mechanic are so dumb and stupid without any fun or sexy stuff that the game makes you sigh and give up after 3-4 stories. Brothel management with FS was the laziest and dumbest construction of game story, ensuing the extreme grinding of the game.

I really don't understand why this game has such good critics, it's decent at best.

The management part of the game is boring and mindelessly grindy
the H-scenes are boring (most are just a single static image)
corruption is boring, you barely interract with the girls you capture (at least in the beginning).
dialogues are boring
Map city is not ergonomic, you barely see what buildings you can visit as they are highlighted only when you mouse-over.
No music, not even a single sound, which makes the game even more boring.

This game has been in development for what, 6 years ? 7 maybe ? Hell I don't know at this point but I've seen it on this site for a long time now.
It's really not that good of a porn game after all this time, unfortunately...

to capture super heroes to his liar and fuck them into submission
there is also a bit of ruthless business and technology research going on
just for the mix

Game is naturally grindy as hell
however characters looks fantastic, very close to the TV counterparts
i had some fun playing it in the past and can recommend
however keep in mind its a bit junky and rather stupid

The game is just cartoon comic porn but with extra steps.

The gameplay is nonexistent. There's no progression, you won't gain anything after corrupted a girl, actually you lose recurrent income. The story are meh

Only if you like DC I can recommend you this game, if not pretty mediocre, also kinda vanilla.

I'm still here for it, the art is good and the creators clearly care about the show and greater DC lore which is wild for a game like this. Has it reached the promises it made during it's first days? Probably not, but is it still one of, if not, the best DC porn game out there? Yes. Just be ready for long gaps between releases.

After following the development since 2017, I can say that it's one of the most interesting and beautifully done game of its category. I like the fact that it still keeps the original art style and and makes it look fresh but also nostalgic. especially after considering the amount of AI drawn games right now on the market. Definitely a keeper.

Honestly, I gave the game another look, and it was honestly a great game, although I still believe it is so grindy and having no button to skip dialogue makes it overwhelmingly boring and irritating at times, especially when you re:do events to unlock certain scenes.

The art and parody of dc makes it great; some plot holes, but still enjoyable enough to play. 8/10

I have been playing this game for years (so about 4 updates). nah been here before it was called "something" unlimited.
It's very enjoyable if a bit repetitive when it comes to the interactions in the cells ( always goes talk 3x, dance 3x, strips, handj 3x, blow/spank 3x etc...) but events spice this up a bit. the artist has done a great job and i'm a sucker for hero corruption.
if you enjoy seeing heroes lose themselves you will enjoy this one.

Having recently switched from Windows to Linux (losing my save data) and not wanting to figure out how to transfer a save, I had thought that it would be something of a chore to get through everything again. But having to start from scratch made me realize... this game has a lot more content than I take for granted. I've only been focusing on the henchwomen, Tala, and Raven, and even three nights in I've only reached the end of Superwoman and Cheshire's cells (even using cheats to unlock them immediately). And while I mostly skip the text for most scenes, I started to read the actual dialogue in the Halloween event and Lois and Blackfire's scenes (shocking I know) and it unexpectedly enhanced the scenes more than I would expect.

This is one of those games where the content itself is good, but the UI and game loop and grind are insanely bad - presumably the devs have not done a playthough since the game was small.

Pros: great original art, lots of content, good animations

Cons: Incredibly grindy and player-hostile.

• every girl follows largely the same narrative path
• the hefty majority of game content is "wearing down" heroines by visiting them over and over and having very similar conversations each time
• the basic "do stuff then wait a day" game loop takes lots of UI clicks, with fade animations between each one. You spend way more time clicking through UI than reading dialogue or seeing scenes.
• there are lots of mundane game actions that need to be done many dozens of times, but which have long pointless dialogues attached that you have to view every single time (e.g. hiring villains)
• the UI makes it painfully tedious to skip dialogue - there's a keybind for it, but most dialogues have random unskippable pauses, and the keybind needs to be released and re-pressed after each pause
• also the "skip dialogue" keybind is chorded for some insane reason - it's shift+space, and believe me your fingers will get tired of holding that down

All in all there's good content here but it's buried deep. I recommend you skip, unless you're really looking for a timesink.

A potentially 5 star game spread across 4 times more grind than I can tolerate.

- UI is bad and I'm forced to use it constantly. Text messages appear letter by letter with no way of showing it instantly. Scene transitions for the same purpose of prolonging gameplay. Literally zero options, it doesnt even have an options menu. Save slots are just named slot 1-2-3 without any notion if its occupied or not.

- Capture a girl with 40% change of wasting expensive device.

- Keep swithcing their places every night in the night club because clients getting bored. There is no autamation to this. And no reason except prolonging the torture of using bad UI.

- When you upgrade her - she stops earning money, and you have to visit her every day to read a few more sentences of filler dialogs with zero progression.

- Tons of locked buttons and question marks with no hints how to unlock them.

At 105 days in game I've seen batgirl using a dildo. Thats how grindy this game is. Consider playing it if you like being blueballed for hours.

This is a take on the brothel sim genera. It's pretty good. The art is very good.

There are a couple draw backs. I think GG would have done better if they made complete story arcs for characters rather than an image for a dozen different characters per update.

Some bits get a little long winded and other bits can be a bit repetitive. But the art is great and the basic gameplay is decent.

I fucking love this game. Best goddamn porn on this website, no question. I do, however, have a major concern. This game needs a replay feature and a much better gallery. This is one of the only games I actually care about the writing for, and there's no way to read it again after you see it? Why does the gallery take forever to load and sometimes freeze?
A cretic I'm too late to make, this game should not have been made in unity. The devs have already figured out there is perfect engine for visual novels called renpy, that they should have been using from the start.
In terms of gameplay, there is no gameplay. If you are one of the people with the patience to not just give yourself infinite money at the start, I've got no idea how you do it. You can host a strip club and a brothel, you know, until you get unlock them to get to the good part of the game. It should not be a chore to go back and re-mindcontrol the girls to see the scene and then go back to upgrade them to awakened again.
I believe the devs need to re-release this game in renpy, with a fully fledge gallery function, which they seem to be exploring with their new release.
The art carries this game, no question. Even when he re-uses his postures I can't bring myself to care. Each girl has 4-6 costumes with at least 6 pornographic artworks each. Variety and quality, a true star.

this game is fucking incredible, literally my dream game, you have read all of the good things from the other reviews so i am not going to repeat them, instead, i will say the things that seem off.

- navigation could be better.
- a lot of the bodies are the same, i know tat this saves time in art making but it is still annoying and lazy.
- wonderwoman, my favorite character has an inconsistent body in her art, almost like a different artist did it or maybe hear head was placed on the wrong heroines body.

also, the animations of what little are in the game are outstanding, unfortunately the devs re very lazy and stopped not even half way through.
